Accurate coordinates and the hint led to a quick find. Although the cache container excess paper, it was in good condition. We were surprised when we came to log the cache that it had been archived. However as we found the cache and were able to sign the log, we will claim the find. Thanks Hoojar for the cache.
Once again it's good to have a quick find.
Had to wait out a few muggles but that wasn't bad as I ate my lunch while here
Number 999 on my quest to hit 1000 today.

Out to dinner with Gundrills and thought we’d do a bit of caching afterwards. Found it! TFTC
Had some time to spare between dinner and movies with geowife. A few caches makes for a great night. TFTC.
Going for a drive to Campbelltown, furniture shopping, stopped for a couple of easy caches. Pulled up to this one and could drive close enough that just sent the kid (SuperSeb0608) to grab it and bring it to the car for signing

We are travelling down from Sydney’s Northern Beaches to the Wollongong area for the April school holidays, and planning to camp in our Jayco Swan Outback camper trailer at the Corrimal Beach Tourist Park.
Today we were off to do the Scout Jamboree cache trail along Appin Road & Baden Powell Drive, which we plan to do in reverse order and thus finish at Cataract Dam. This was our 1st find of the day, and 11th find of the holiday.
Before starting the Scout cache trail we stopped at this one, pulling into the rest stop for a nice quick find in a familiar hiding spot. TNLNSL, and then replaced as found. TFTC Hoojar.

Needs some care. The little pad is full as is the paper that someone else has put in. Very busy here, was tricky to be discreet.
Found together with oldmorty, in between the Helensburgh puzzle caches and the scout caches at Cataract Dam

14517. Found during a great weekend caching down in the Helensburgh / Wollongong region with specimenX and AngelG27.
A long planned weekend was finally here. An early morning departure from Canberra soon had us hitting the caches. After finishing the Scout series, this was the next find of the day. Parked nearby and went for a walk for a quick find at GZ. Signed the log, replaced the cache, and we were on our way to the next one.
Thanks to all the CO's for their caches - very much appreciated !!

For the past few weeks I have been working out the Helensburgh puzzle series working with Celtical. Today was the day we decided to tackle the finding side of things. So a meeting point was arranged at Bella Vista. My first cache for the day was found there.
Celtical designated herself as the driver for the trip down to Helensburgh. Along the way another 3 finds were made before tacking the puzzle GZ's
We completed the loop in physical order, not numerical order leaving the final #36 until last. I had been prepared to walk around the loop but happy to be driven around finding suitable parking in most locations not far from each GZ. All finds found easily enough.
Along the days caching 4 TB's were found and I dropped off 5 during our travels. Noted in the relevant caches.
After completeing the loop it was time to head for home but along the way another 8 caches were found to bring my day's tally to 48 within 7 hours - new 48 in 24 hours pin will be added to my hat!

Fitzy_1965, SpecimenX and I headed out on a long planned geomission to Helensburgh and Wollongong to grab a stack of solved puzzles and as-yet-uncollected traditionals. We headed up the highway from the ACT to Appin, then down the hill to Helensburgh and then made our way south. We have around 160 caches on the list, but if we grab 100 over the two days, that would be fine, especially since I have a terrible head cold! Unless otherwise indicated, caches were found quickly and in good order. Thanks to my geo partners in crime for a fun weekend
Thanks Hoojar for the cache!

After having completed the Scout Jamboree series, we headed east to find somewhere to have lunch. Did a pit stop at this cache, after having done some manoeuvring to avoid the No Right turn sign.
Ah yes, DA BOM...it all makes sense. I look at the radar images just about every day!
Find No: 5517. Visiting from Newcastle, staying at Poplar Tourist Park at Camden, here for GEOTREK 2017, had a lot of fun, ended the day with 37 finds, thanks for the cache Hoojar!!
This was a very easy park and grab cache which was located in the popular type of hiding place. Our name was quickly added to the log before replacing all as it was found. Thank you to Hoojar for this nice simple and easy to find cache.

Out with Brewmaker today finding caches in the Scouts Jamboree trail near the Cataract Dam and others around Appin.
Most of these were in bushland settings just off the side of the road. There were a range of sizes, but most were a generous small or medium cache so not too difficult to locate.
We parked the nearby and walked across for a quick find. Signed the log and replaced the cache as found. TFTC

While at the GWS Jamborette I was able to take an hour each day to find all but two of the Jamboree series and 2 more close ones. An easy find but there were many picnicking muggles to trick.

Thanks Hoojar for the fun.

#4514 - 12:40; A plan was hatched a few weeks back to head up to Sydney to the football with Sol de lune and Boot65 and today was the day. The game was a 4:30pm start, so we headed off early start to include some caching on the way. After collecting a couple, we encountered an early setback due to a bridge out along our preferred route, so we ended up making our way to Appin via a detour through Campbelltown, then on the Scouting Jamboree series, which was to be the major part of the caching mission today. After grabbing the first half dozen in the scouts series, we continued on to this one, for a nice quick find and sign before heading back to Baden Powell Drive. TFTC Hoojar

Our current visit to Australia had been in the planning for over a year with the very significant help and advice from friends who live in Melbourne. The original plan was for a 2 month visit, but as things progressed we just couldn't help extending our trip to the full 90 days allowed on our visas - after all it's a big country and so much to see and do, especially with our favourite pastimes being birding, hiking and of course geocaching! Our journey started with our arrival at Perth airport followed by a day cycling around Rottnest Island before travelling on to Adelaide where we met up with our friends. We then continued on to spend some time on Kangaroo Island, before heading to Melbourne via Goolwa, Strathalbyn, Coorong, Mount Gambier, Cape Bridgewater, the Grampians National Park, Port Campbell, Cape Otway and Lorne, cramming in as much as possible on route. The second leg of our journey was a fabulous 9 days in Tasmania. Having then returned to Melbourne we set off on the third leg of our journey, which was to Sydney via Wilson’s Promontory, Lakes Entrance, Mallacoota, Pambula Beach, Thredbo, Canberra and Fitzroy Falls. We are now spending a few days in Sydney with Geocaching friends before we travel on to the Gold Coast - then after a few days in the nearby mountainous birding hotspots, followed by a trip to Fraser Island, we will fly from Brisbane to Cairns, visiting yet more good birding sites. We will then drive up to Cape Tribulation before heading back south again to Port Douglas and a day out on the Great Barrier Reef. We then return to Cairns for the flight to Alice Springs, where we will hire a 4x4 camper and set off for a week on the circuit to and from Kings Canyon and Ayers Rock. We then fly to Darwin from where we will spend the last two weeks of our holiday making our way to Broome via Kakadu, Cooinda, Katherine Gorge, Kununarra, Lake Argyle, Emma Gorge, the Bungle Bungle’s and Fitzroy Crossing. Our last two nights in Australia will be spent in Broome before we fly back to Perth, from where we will connect with the flight all the way back home to Zimbabwe via South Africa. We already know we can't wait to return!
We had the pleasure of being able to go out caching today and yesterday with wazza9 and Nana Nel, who along with their very kind hospitality ensured we had the best possible visit to Sydney - we had a truly great time. This was a nice quick find at Ground Zero. Thanks so much for the cache.
