Yeah it does appear to have gone MIA again for how may times i can't remember, so yeah to to say good bye to this one..
Attempted this one with Littlemerpip today. After some discussion about the coordinates we went off to GZ. Like the last few people we were unable to find it though we checked all locations and extended our search a bit more. Needs an owner check to see if it is still there.
This is the fourth time we have visited this spot in the last month. We have explored all possible coordinate options and have been unsuccessful each time.
I think its gone.

Whilst down at Mornington doing the reno's on my sons house, it took some time off to do a couple. I had checked this one out before and found too many people here. This time is was a beeze. Picked up all the clues and moved on. The cache is not well hidden and maybe a different tree would offer better coverage. Nice easy find, tried to cover it up a little better.
Thanks Rigger64 TNLN

Found some time ago. When u finally worked the coordinates and looked up it was an obvious find. Tftc
A quiet Sunday, and Slink1 called and said "lets go" so we decided to cache for the afternoon.

Took a while to work out the coords but soon found myself at a very likely GZ and the cache was spotted soon after. Enjoyed the location, very pretty spot. TFTC
My second multi for evening. I gotta be honest, I really enjoy these! There's always an element of doubt about whether you've done the maths right, and it's always a pleasure to not know where you're going when you first look at the cache.
Tonight, it was getting pretty dark, so I stumbled around with my torch, getting all the required numbers. Unfortunately, like a few other people in previous logs, I miscounted the number of BBQs. Or rather, I counted them incorrectly. So, of course, I got lead down to a dim dark corner of the park, and was stopped by a barbed wire fence, 10m short of GZ. Shoot! Go back, try again. Headed back to the playground, read a few logs to figure out where I'd gone wrong, then eventually, had a set of co-ords that was *inside* the park!
After that, it was a nice, simple find. Log book was a smidge damp, so I cleaned out the bag, and made sure it sealed properly.
Plenty of noises of night-time animals, especially with the torch off. Thanks for taking me on this wander through the park, it was definitely made more interesting by doing it at night!

Well, it was the weekend again and despite the fact that I was on annual leave from work, Sunday was set aside to go out caching with my partner in crime SedgwickDave. It turned out to again be a wonderful summer's day, mid 20's, so I picked up Dave at 7.30 we headed towards mornington, picking up a few caches on the way.
We gathered all the numbers without trouble, then made our way to GZ. we soon realised we needed to be on the other side of the barbed wire fence, so made our way back and around. We began our search without success, so checked previous logs and noticed the BBQ's count was wrong, so we adjusted co ords and quickly made our way back and there it was.
Thanks to Rigger64 for the cache. TNLN.

The weather was ideal today for another run along the peninsula starting in Tyabb then heading westward to Mornington for completing some solved puzzle caches. Was on the hunt with my caching wingman Ahomburg. Today's tally was 16 finds including a FTF & further progress made with project 81 and some other cache series in the region. A great result overall and looking forward to returning to region soon to find some more.
Well this one took much longer then expected. Collected the clues initially with ease but once finally at GZ as suspected we took the wrong path result in no cache so I checked the logs to realize the mistake with the number of BBQ structures counted. So with the correct coordinates now it was back to some familiar ground where the cache was quickly spotted. Nice. TFTC Rigger64

Very quiet in the park today which made it easy to gain all the info very quickly. Once we had the new co-ords GZ was quickly reached & the cache was soon in hand. TFTC
Another huge TDC / RA alliance caching night. Headed down to meet up with the crew which included Trailrunning and Rebel Acts for the night. Quasar3671 was heading north to Cairns for a road trip to view the total eclipse. We ended up with a huge haul for the night with nearly 50 finds, but soured by 3 DNF's. With bikes on board, we cleared the Cranbourne Botanical Gardens and did some other bike caching. Great fun. The night was geared to a general cleanup of the Mornington Peninsula, which we did. An awesome night of caching with some great caches found in both day and night.
A few cars parked, always have to be on the look out for "bandits" and I aren't talking about the ones who want to steal you money.... Short uneventful walk to GZ, and cache found all ok. TFTC.

You just have to love Cup Day holiday being on a Tuesday, especially if your main caching night is a Monday night. This can only mean one thing, a huge night of caching! I had spent the morning with my girlfriend at the cinema, before the appointed meeting with Blacklegend and RebelActs later in the early afternoon. Our other team member, Quasar3671 was heading north to Queensland for the second time in two weeks, to clean up the power trails up there, so it was just the three of us tonight. So we based our caching area on one location we knew Q3 had cleared. We had also planned to grab caches that can only be found legally during daylight hours, so we packed the cars with our bikes and headed south to the Cranbourne Botanical Gardens. With the first 17 caches found in under an hour (love those bush mountain biking adventures) we headed south from there all the way down to Mornington. I’m pretty sure we visited about 56 caches for the night and my personal total was 51 finds. There were a few DNF’s which took a bit of time out of the run, but we were pretty sure the caches were not there and a RM will be logged for each of them. With such great company, why wouldn’t you be out caching at night in such warm weather? Thanks again to each and every CO for their efforts. With cars quietly parked nearby we tried not to disturb the occupants as we raced around collecting clues and we were soon signing the log. thanks
The train had bought us to this park but the opportunity to move a travel bug was also there. The bananas find themselves in many parks and both B1 & B2 enjoyed this simple effort after an enjoyable train ride. Searching around every dressed up muggle from some where else also enjoying the park, the treasure was found. Our three little pigs now have a new home.
Finally found it after realising to count BBQ structures and NOT BBQ PLATES
So please be careful with your answer for C in the formula. Other than that the cache is an easy find.
If you find yourself outside the park on the side road like we did, you got the wrong co-ordinates for the final GZ.

Found this one quickly, once we'd worked out a few ambiguous questions - it helped to know that the BBQ facilities had been replaced since the cache was first hidden. Cache container is getting a little damp. TFTC!

Battled with co-ords confusion as have others.
The cache was sitting uncovered and is quite damp and putrid, although the log book is fine. Dried it out, signed the log, and added a few stick for extra cover.

This was a return visit as we had previously attempted this one a few years back but muggle activity at the time was too high to make a find. Went back today without reading the details and was surpried to find the old BBQs had been removed and a new set of clues in place. I had no piglets with me today but due to the rain I was all alone so didn't look dodgy when lurking around the playground.
One or two of the clues were a bit ambiguous so I had to make a list of three possible GZs before heading off for the find. My first attempt was way off and recalling the general area of the original hide I was able to determine which of my three coords was the correct one. Once I'd got that sorted out, an easy find was made and the log signed.

A good find in a great park. I lived just up the road for 2 years and didn't know this was here. Thank you
2011-07-23 15:17 Out for the Mornington Railway series today and thought I would grab this one after finding MR#3. Boy did I have trouble with this one. Without running through everything I did wrong I still didn't get a set of coords that led me to GZ. In the end I re-tried the first set of coords I came up with and while about 25m away I noticed something that resembled what was described in the hint. Bingo. Finally I can get back onto the MR series. TFTC.
It was a nice clear morning today to attempt this cache. With the reserve entirely deserted, I was able to gather the required information.
There was one number that I had two possibilities for, but the options were so close that it didn't really matter.
After a pleasant walk to GZ the cache was soon found. Thanks for an enjoyable cache.

Came here for a picnic lunch, and gathered all the clues with my 4.5 year old. Quickly did the sums and walked the short distance to GZ. Spotted it straight away, and nudged my daughter in the right direction. Great excitement when she spotted it, and it had a great necklace in it. Took that and left a car and a sparkly globe for a trade.

we had a piglet trackable so we needed a piglets cache to put it in. this one was the winner so off we went. initially go tthe wrong coords and walked a lot further than what was needed but after going back to the playground and working with the numbers we found a much better set of coords and off we went again to find the cache without too much trouble

Arrived at 9am only to find council workers on site. When I finally got the coord's my unit decided to die....flat battery. With luck on my side, I turned the unit back on & had just enough juice to take me to GZ.
Cache was exposed and could be easily detected....... Signed log book & left cache in good order!

What a nice park, we have driven past so many times but never actually stopped here!
The BBQs- we worked out both coords (#of BBQ plates and #of BBQ islands) and attempted the closest GZ first and came up with the cache there in a very logical spot
Thanks Piglet and Rigger for the cache, one of five for us today.

Always find the number of BBQ's confusing in these multi's! I never know if it is the number of hot plates or units I need to count. However geodaughter soon had the cache in hand once my error was corrected. TFTC.
We failed to find this one.
We counted BBQ's wrongly and possibly made some errors in calculations.
We ended up in a most prickly part of the park ouchies and couldn't see it.
Didn't want to get prickled to death so left. [xx(]
Thanks anyways piglet* and Rigger64.

A nice evening to wonder a nice park. Even squeezed in a few a games of noughts and crosses with Ostara74 - score 1 game each and a tie - the challenge will go on. Found with out to much trouble - cache was exposed but Ostara used expert camoflage skills to cover it when we out it back. Left 2 super awesome cool gold tazo spinning top dragonball Z thingys, (I have no idea about them other tan they free with chips. mmm chips.) Took Travel Slug Coin. Thanks.
Found together with Pathfinder24. Some trouble with BBQ counting otherwise fine Nice park area. Thanks.
A quick multi but boy is the grass a quagmire in the rain. There were a few brown wooly bear caterpillars using the cache for cover - not sure if these sting or not. Took Kansas travelbug. SL TFTC
Found with drednort. Much discussion about what the clues meant. logged one ten went...hmm thats not got to be it..then realised our mistake and fixed it.
Mud. Glorious mud!
So many things to count, and sometimes counted things that didn't need to be counted because we weren't sure if they counted or not.
But eventually made some decisions and found the cache, Good day. This would be a really nice place to visit at a drier time of year.

The coords were a bit tricky, maybe the birds were playing up today. However, approaching GZ we found the cache very easily at 3.30 pm because it was totally exposed! Probably the result of a severe storm which was localised to Mt Eliza three weeks ago, about 110 mm rain fell in three hours, half of it in the last hour. It was also wet inside, so we have taken it home and contacted Rigger. After a bit of a refurb, it has been returned.. Added a soldier and a green chilli baby for any kids wh might find it. TNSL

Interesting - there was an entry in the log from a muggle who found teh cache just walking by and also went on to say that we should get a hobby. But he did put it back intact We rehid it well a little deeper.

Had driven past this one on quite a few occasions and had the chance this arvo to have a go at it with TJ (geojunior). It's a very nice park and good facilities. Got the necessary numbers (was unsure on one of them) but came up with a GZ coordinate. Headed out and had the cache in hand in no time. The lid wasn't fastened properly when we found it (it was dry inside thought) but made sure it was when we returned it. Also TFTC.

Came, calculated, didn't find. Did find a suspiciously dead looking tree at GZ though.
612 Found @ 13:20 When I arrived there was a family finishing there picnic lunch and packing up to leave. There was also a woman on the other side of the pond fishing with a medium sized dog tethered to the rail. I went about my business gathering all the clues and attempted to locate the cache. Just as I found GZ and was about to extract the cache to log it I noticed that the dog was loose and heading straight for me snarling and growling so I had to hot foot it out of there without signing. TNLNDSL Thanks For The Cache.
I found the cache - and by using only my second set of calculated co-ords too! Upon reading some of the previous logs, it seems that I'd done well today. There were a few families at the nearby playground, but they didn't seem too worried with my 'bbq circling' antics. TNLN & SL at 4pm. Thanks piglet* for the cache!
My first attempt at this one although I had done the other piglet cache nearby some time ago. I walked around and around that BBQ and counted and counted and recounted but was not happy with my answers. Tried a couple of "intelligent" number substitutes but turned up nothing. Only discovered there was a hint after getting home - maybe that will help next time.
Had a bit of a rethink on calculations and went straight to it. Must have had brain fade yesterday. Cache was partially exposed and tree covering it is not looking too healthy so may need a location change before too long. Took toy soldier left koala.
Thanks.
Thanks.
Had a go but without success. Obviously not on the same wavelength as piglet. What's the difference between a column and a pole and a pillar? As MacArthur said "I will return"
2008-04-05 11:07 As we appooched the final GZ I could see it from 10m. The geokids took the opportunity to play as Mrs Crisp Image and I did all the calculations. No swaps today. Regards Crisp Image & Family
