Logs
Easy find but the cache was uninspiring. A film can with a soggy log thrown under a bush.
Found with Aveen and our friend Linda. Log wet. Tried all the trees but it is always in the last place i look...
On our way to Bendigo for the caching day...searched a while before Ms Bushies2 found it...logbook mouldy but able to sign. Thanks smileypj.
It was just on astronomical twilight.
That's my excuse.
Just where was that sucker?

Unlike a lot of my efforts tonight, this cache was found fairly effortlessly. Log is saturated and needs to be replaced. TFTC
Found with Big Matt and Shell, steeba and The Rats during a quick 4 day bash down to Victoria.
The name and the listing certainly helped with finding this one.
Thanks smileypj for the cache.

Out for a caching road trip through parts of Victoria with FarmerFrenzten, Steeba and Big Matt & Shell. This was one of the many caches we found.
The cache name was a good help here but there were still a few options. Eventually the right mow level was found.
Thanks

Found with Big Matt and Shell, Farmer Frentzen and The Rats on our 'victrip2011'.
It took us a while to get the right tree but once we did the cache was soon in hand. Thanks!

Our 5346th overall find.
Found with FarmerFrentzen, steeba and The Rats on our Victoria Invasion trip. Once we were looking at the right tree we were right with this one. You just need to read the cache name to head in the right direction.
Thanks to smileypj for the cache.

In an unexpected place after a long search in more likely (to me) places!! Thanks Smileypj.
I wouldn't call this a nice and easy one, there's a perfect tree there with all sorts of nooks and crannys - but it's not the important tree. I pottered around for ages, with the neighbours nearby ignoring me and continuing on with their gardening. Finally, I understood what the cache was getting at, and had it in hand.
took abit to locate this one, I was in the right spot to start just needed to look harder and I would have had it in no time. Pays to look properly. Found it eventually. TFTC
Great hiding spot. Kept us looking for a while. Nice view and it was a sunny day and no kids to make a scene.
Found with task master, the book was wet but still logged it. Took about 5 mins but did find the small film canister. Good hide
Found with Task_master Jr. Needs some maintenace - log is wet, but still able to write upon.
We've come to Bendigo today for the Easter Fair & to do some caches as well. A bit of a good ling search helped us find this little bugger! Can't sign log as it's totally soaked. TFTC.
After a bit of a search and a bit of a think we finally found it!!! The log was too wet to sign.

I don't know if I was looking in the romp spot. Mind you I came out when it was dark. I assumed it was in that hollowed bushy tree but no luck
Suscoe found this little fella this morning.
What a good hide, had us going for a while, we like a challenge and we got is today.
Thanks to smileypj for this cache.

#1176 @ 7.40pm. The GPS's were bouncing around at this location and we couldn't get a good fix. Ended up using "The Force" and it seems that Dads is better than the Queen's - he looked in a place she had already been and came up trumps. Don't know whether we came at the wrong time of year but we ended up with lots of sticky seeds all over us. TNLNSL TFTC smileypj
Thankfully the trees haven't been mowed for a long time. As per previous entries, the log was a little water-logged. TFTC .
found this one after a bit off a serch as rigger64's gps was bouncheing all over the place to start with it then settled the cache was then found we were unable to sign log sheet as it was very wet
Found on a caching day out with my mate Slink 1 that took in an event cache in bendigo. SL TFTC
Awsome trainset within sight of this cache, thanks for bringing me here for a visit smileypj.. I made the find after we checked all the obvious spots, then visited the description/hint

After reading the previous logs we were starting to think this one was gone until eagle eyed geoson found the cache.
The logbook is very wet and will need to be replaced.

Moved on to this area after a nice lunch. Left the G'daughters to do the actually finding. Another good kid-friendly spot. 3rd find for the day. TFTC, Smiley.
FINALLY!!!
Believe it or not we've tried this one 2 or 3 times now. So glad to get this easy drive by....

Decided there was time for one more cache today before we headed back to the tent, so popped by here. Not quite sure what to expect, but loved the approach with the old houses along the trainline.
The search for the cache was slightly weirder. Coords had me close to a spot with some awesome hidey-holes for various sized caches, so I thought I was going a bit mad not finding it. Looked a bit further and then found it in a location that didn't seem anywhere nearly as neat, but perhaps that's the point of this one!

It's strange one as we did not see it in first place so we give up and will come, 2nd day we come back and found it with Everlasting, Alchemy2. TFTC
Easily found but log was VERY wet. Took it back to motel room to dry out overnight and returned it dry and ready to go early in the morning. See image.

Just arrived and dusk time - try use torch but no hope so give up and hope will return back this weekend... Smile. Thanks.
Quick find. Can understand that this would be made more difficult at night but in the light of day was nearly a drive by. SL TNLN T4TC
Found this one, as soon as we stopped thinking the obvious, and thought about the name.

Searched aimlessly around under torchlight for a bit. Something clicked as common sense finally prevailed, and the cache was found in its hiding spot!
ooohh... geeeeeeeeeeeeess.. think this ones harder at night.. night cache with snowy no.5 nice hide. we were that close to a dnf.. somehow snowy found it.. too cold to continue on..6deg.
Well , this one had us searching for 1/2hr or more very hard find when ur looking in the dark. Was very pleased with myself when I come up with the goods.
Found with my mate Blacklegend17 (Marshy) during our 2 day Bendigo cache blitz. The torches were out for this one as it was now night time. The cache proved to be very elusive and took ages to find. Almost ready to move on when I somehow came up with the goods. TFTC.
21st find for the day on my caching trip with my caching buddy, Marty (Quasar3671) in Bendigo for two days of non stop caching fun. Well, at the time of night we found this on, it was into night caching mode and the torches were out. Took us ages to find this one but for the second cache in a row, Marty came up with the find. Tricky one, thanks for a hunt.
Didn't have long to look, located the tree that has quite obviously been mowed a few times which was at GZ according to my GPS but no cache....
GPS problems sent us entirely in the wrong direction, until we bumped into smileypj who pointed me in a more accurate direction! Eventually Mr Chicky cracked it, bought a new system and once we had something reliable in hand, took only a few minutes of searching to make the find. TFTC (and for the chat!)
We jumped out of the car and had cache in hand within moments and on our way again to find more.
TFTC!

I'm keen to put a cache outside our hose (some day) to be able to watch people hunting. Glad I'm not the only one who has had the thought. Is Smiley's house the one with the mini train trax? That's my guess - someone who likes novelties - like me
Disapointed no trains went past to show my 2yo daughter while looking.

Another frustrating, depressingly evil micro DNF.
No cache found by us at GZ today, with muggles nearby could not openly hunt down on knees in this one.

2890. [font=Trebuchet Ms][green]Looks like I forgot to log a previous DNF as I was definitely here in the last 2 years. Took us ages to locate this as we read everything wrong (well I did) once CoolAid read everthing he wandered to a different spot and made the find.
