As there's been no cache to find for some time, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.
thought this would be a straight forward multi but we didn't have any luck today found all the numbers but lots of leaf litter at the possible Gz looked for about 10 mins with no joy
Found on a day's outing to Mt Nimrod. Great spot and great fun finding this one. TFTC.
Great spot....no problems with cache, surprised how dry log is given the hide. Thanks for this one.
Had a weekend in Timaru, so did a bit of caching in around the town. Took a while to find, almost giving up. On a recount, I tried again and had success. Thanks for the hide.
Enjoyed finding the clues to the co-ordinates but couldn't find the actual cache no matter how hard we tried
Great hidden away spot. Had a wander in the sun to fnd the info and then, there it was. TFTC
Took awhile to find all the gravestones, but did the maths and found. Enjoyed the challenge lovely church and setting TFTC
The little Bairdys and I enjoyed this. They had a good run around while I scouted headstones. I drove in, and was surprised when I loaded the cache co-ords. TFTC SL
Nice to meet some Geocachers from Canada here. Also good to find the cache. Nice church yard. TFTC

I visited your cache as part of a week-long self indulgent Geocaching trip from Nelson to Bluff and back again. I apologise for not leaving a completely personalised log, but I do want to thank you for the time, money and effort you put into placing your caches. Without people like you who place caches, there would be nothing for the rest of us to come and find. You are fantastic

A beautiful church in the middle of nowhere. Even Christchurch doesn't have churches this nice - anymore. TFTC.
Popped up the hill intending to do this one but being Sunday there was a service in full swing so I decided to give it a miss. Really pretty spot though.
This cache is a bit deserted - and it is a lovely church. Enjoyed our stroll around the area and the find of course as well.
Once again the Master had spotted something out of the way but it certainly helped when working out the final co ords.
A lovely out of the way place that I presume must serve rhe local area.
Thanks

Nice church. No problems locating all the residents, co-ords were spot on, found with Yeetrees.

Found with YuGeo4, yes second time around and a bit of a better look, took a bit longer but came up triumph, thank goodness that we found it didn’t really want another attempt. TFTC TNLNSL (1372)
Even though I had a dnf before, I was right, just didn't look hard enough at the right spot. Too easy really.
Took a bit longer than expected because we had to avoid the muggle cutting the grass - lovely little church though. thx
This cache almost drove me insane. I found every grave except Tennet's. Went over every grave with fine tooth comb looking for it though.
Decided to take a punt on the final with the numbers I had and guess right. Cache coords spot on.
TFTC - lovely old church that we looked at using a few years ago for a wedding venue but decided on the more picturesque Otipua church up the road.

Must be my 50th attempt and I found it in less than 10 seconds. No pencil in cache, so couldn't sign logbook. Mike (mike&alice) there to witness my find.
Missed one name on the first pass, but looking at the co-ordinates realised I could make a pretty good guess anyway. Found OK. Another nice little church to visit - Thanks.
Couldn't find all the numbers but guessed them and got close enough to let the hint do the rest.
After a quiet walk with rchdlyn in this really nice area, we found the cache after a quick search. Great spot. T4TC.
Couple of little things here to trip up the unwary, not me though I was so on the ball in fact I even found where the church keys are hidden! Can't say where of course but very much in a typical geocache hiding place and in a plastic screwtop container, I initially thought I had chanced upon the cache itself.

Found it and left TB. Was not where I thought it was originally, which I bet is where people who couldn't find it were looking.
A lovely trip out for Fathers' Day back to try to get this cache. No one there, so had a great chance to look around. Unfortunately, I suspect the half-metre of leaves all over the ground may be hiding the cache. Dug for about 15 minutes around the area I remember the coordintes pointing to and, even despite the hint, didn't find it.
Will watch for a while and have another go once someone else successfully locates it.

Another interesting site, the amazing thing is, I have known some of the people resting here. However we seached & seached but to no avail, but I will be back again.

Got it this time - having tried in the dark on a different trip and failed. That clue (looked up last time) makes perfect sense now.
Found all the clues but no luck finding the cache. Will be back soon as determined to get this one.
Really enjoyed this one although we were perplexed when we couldn't find Peter so took a guess at his number.
No one about and a lovely day!
No one about and a lovely day!
A little challenging as could not find one headstone, just had to have a mothers look. lol
Decoded the entire coordinates and I think I know where the cache is about. However too many muggles building an extension onto the church, so couldn't stay in the area too long.
Didn't immediately SEE the cache, so noted the coordinates and will return in a weekend.

First cache of a few today Nice easy warm-up with a little arithmetic! Cache was easily found. Cheers Gav [1112]
We got thoroughly soaked looking for all the people - and yes, Tennant was very sneaky. Coords put us at the other side of the corner - easy find with the clue though. Pity we couldn't get inside and see the stained glass. Thanks.
Found it on our second attempt, using the new GPS unit - we've been doing these just with the clues and maps..... we were actually at the right spot first time but couldn't find it.......
1280. It was interesting gathering up the answers as you take in a lot of the history while you are reading the information. This part was fairly easy and quickly gathered but finding the cache itself took a while as it was slightly elusive! But in the end, there it was!
Thanks

I hunted for this cache last weekend, but, the "locals" must have a lovely sense of humour, and convinced me of the wrong age of Henry's death. I wrote the corresponding number of his wife. LOL.
That put my "final coords" some 2 K's up the road, and "cache site" was going to be across a paddock full of Dairy Cows. I thought something was awry, so decided to try again.
I found the error this afternoon, and worked out the final coords.
Alas - by the time I arrived this afternoon, Perso had beaten me to the FTF for this cache. LOL
However, my Etrex was acting Very Strangely as I approached gz - I would approach the direction indicated 5 times, and each time my Etrex suggested a different direction and distance for gz.
I blamed the "locals" with their funny sense of humour, and decided on the obvious spot decrypted from the hints.
Cheers Bitsprayer.

Apologies to Rick & Jan for beating them to the punch - I see you got my new one instead. Tennant's an elusive chap isn't he? I think this is just my second FTF. The only trouble I got from the locals was a bit of hide and seek.
