I was wondering why a cache would be called 'Simon'... until I got there. Very clever. Took a glow star, left a surprise. TFTC
I had to abandon my attempt to get the co-ords from the game because the blue light between the red and orange lights wouldn't light up. I was in a shaded spot and cupped my hands over the light and ran the start up sequence several times just to be sure, but no blue light. The yellow key was quite sticky at the outset, but it freed up doing several attempts to get the co-ords. I hope this can be fixed.
Having found the recently reactivated Bed Bugs I just had to continue on and give Simon a go too (it's been on my to-do list in a very long time). GZ was found without any trouble, so I settled in for a play of this "computer" game from the past (as I recall, my cousin had one, or perhaps it was a friend at primary school) I had a little bit of trouble starting the game - and checking the battery-pack plug I noticed a little corrosion which wiped off, this time the game was behaving. The old buttons sometimes seemed a little unresponsive, so I decided to take the easy option and run it at level one, where the potential frustration level was low and I could quickly get back to the air-conditioning of my car... Needless to say, the game was soon over and GZ coordinates obtained. I made the mistake of forgetting to correct the coordinates, so took an unplanned "scenic route" to GZ where the cache was found immediately. Thanks for another cool electronic-game cache - another favourite from me
Sunny spring afternoon just screams for a walk in the park after work and a cache or two on the way.
I love it. Solved the puzzle (sorry, level 1) but decided I needed to make it harder for myself and only read half the requirements. Got to the GZ and couldn't find the prize, after going in circles for several minutes I decided to calculate the coordinates again and go to the real GZ for a quick find. I hate it when that happens.

Out with the kids on a beautiful Sunday afternoon. Kids are a bit young to understand the game but they liked it anyway, and we only did level 1. After a short journey the cache was in hand and everyone was happy. The 4 1/2 year old was dissapointed that there was not kangaroo, but overall very happy. TFTC
Found it with Sladem today and had lots of fun trying to find it, the co-ords were a little bit out, but we did get there in the end. Loved the game and I think we did Level 4 (but not sure now). Enjoyed the park and the sunshine and the trees. TFTC
Been wanting to stop to do this cache for a while but wanted it to be more than a park and grab and have the time to enjoy it. Ali-J had enough work for the day and wanted to get out. We meet at the car park nearby and headed in to this cache. I knew what to expect since it had been talked about a lot but it was all new to Ali-J. We had fun getting the machine to work and soon had a possible GZ. However our numbers where out and we found ourself's exploring a different area. We did not mind however, we eventually made it to the cache. TFTC
Great cache! Found woth C@H on a sunny winters afternoon after ditching work early to go caching (the weather was too good to be working and the temptation to play was too great..). This is the first type of cache like this that I have done and it was super good. It wasn't only the cache that was good but the area. I had never managed to explore this area before and we wandered quite a bit off the trail of the cache on this one and found ourselves up the top of the hill looking out towards Melbourne. there were kangaroos everywhere and the view was great. Finally found the cache just on dark after a great afternoon wander on a sunny winters afternoon. TFTC muzza
This was the third of four caches in this park today. I had determined to do this and 'Bed bugs' with MMelb who I also thought would be useful for Minimax. We both enjoyed the easy walk in after BMP2 and Minimax. Our first try was successful at level 4. MMelb (who as a much younger child had a smaller version of this game) continued to play but was unable to win at the higher levels. An arithmetic error was made but quickly corrected and we soon found the cache. Took letter opener and left key ring and lanyard. Thanks Muzza

Got the impression that this device did not work properly.
However, can't rule out that I did not understand info
correctly.

Called by to check the box. No problem there. The device is safe inside its plastic bag and is still nice and dry.
Found the first cache with Kamce and palyed the game ( it bought back many memories)
unfourtunatly I didnt read the cache list carefully and missed the vital clue
I also confess to using too much muscle power on the cache box. I thought it had seal clips and when I pulled I cracked the edge of the box. Sorry muzza
we packed it up nice and snug but it might need a bit of maintanence

Big muscles using clips that are not really there damaged the box. Its not too bad but might leak if the rain gets heavy

Another beauty and a little bit more difficult.....however it was fun. Picked L/3 to begin with and stuck with it Great idea and well executed.
We collected the numbers and soon found ourselves heading 200 or so mt's to the East or was it West?.....WHOOPS we made an error - pays to first read the description [:o)] re-caculated the numbers and we were soon on our way back down to where a neat little container was found.
Thx again muzza a really cool multi - will recommend!

I was out east today to do a little sight seeing around the are with my friend who loved photography. I told him that this area was supposed to be nice and I really wanted to find the two caches up here and he agreed to come. I had heard some great things about these ones and I couldn't wait to give them a go. I already had proof that muzza could create great caches after solving and/or finding a lot of the Puzzlemania caches plus a few others including his marvellous Millionare V2. We had just found Bed Bugs and we were maaking good time, but this one proved to take a lot longer than Bed Bugs purely on the fact that I forgot about the amended coordinates. The location was nice and much better than the average cache, but it didn't beat bed bugs. WP1 was located easily once in the right position but with the GPS being so shotty around here, it still took a little while (not too long though). This game only took one go to complete on level 2 . I would have done it again but we had limited time as mum and my sister were still waiting in the car. I completely forgot about the coordinates requiring a change so we went to the coordinates given and because the clue was the same.... we spent a while trying to find it [xx(]. Eventually I figured it out and everybody was getting annoyed about how long it was taking! Then we went to the real GZ and the cache was soon located. Thanks for another rippa muzza, maybe you should place a cache like this over our side of town! Maybe even close to the city, it would definitely get all the favourite points it deserves there.
Stopped by here to do muzza's two nearby multis. Not knowing what to expect I was suprised to find what I did at WP1. Well this was going to be fun. I got comfortable and started playing. Just my luck and I had started with the hardest level so I slowly worked my way down to a level that I could finally complete. It was a lot of fun and I kept wondering what a passing walker might think of these funny beeping noises coming from the trees below the track.
With the coords to GZ I headed over and it took a little while and a bit of searching before I spotted and likely spot and there was the cache.
Another very cool cache muzza and a favourite for me.

Haven't seen one of these for years and years and years! Another very clever bit of engineering to create a fun way of determing coords. As mentioned previously yellow is a bit dicey but is still operational with care. Worked out GZ then wandered off for the find. Thanks to muzza for another great multi, took the TB
I was a bit worried when I took the first bit of cover of the container at wp1 as there was a scorpion sitting on top but i gave him a flick and got down to business. The yellow button seems a bit worn out but got there eventually. Brought back some primary school memories.
Thanks for another great fun cache muzza!

Fantastic, after debating if little bear should be wandering through tall grass on such a warm day (in a dress!!) we decided to go single file with the theory the animals would bite me and not her!!! (Her theory) Once we found the device at 1st coords she suddenly forgot about being worried, totally enjoyed the puzzle & the rest of the cache unfolded with ease. Our first puzzle one. A lot of effort has gone into this......Thanks muzza A small bear was there so he came with us and now... there is another bear in there!!
Really enjoyed the device at first waypoint but for the life of me couldn't find the final cache even with the amended co-ords. Now I realize there would have been a hint at first wp however missed it. Rookie mistake, TFTC anyway!

It has been a very long time since I have trained at Lysterfield with my good mate Tansey. I was not able to get there for the usual 7 am start for our Mountain Bike Ride around Lysterfield, but was able to get there about 9 am.
I knew hunting for caches here was going to be tough, as some of the hills can be killers, and I don’t have great bike fitness at the moment. A number of the caches, Tansey had already done, but like a true sport he did not assist in those finds.
After Bed Bugs this was the next one of the list. Tansey had already done this one, but lost the co-ords!! I selected level 1 to make it a quick game and the co-ords were won with ease. It was back to where we dropped the bikes for another find. We signed the log. At this point we debated whether we went further north, or south (to LLL). Given the time, we decide to start making our way back to the cars via a few caches SW of here. Thanks Muzza once again!!! Great cache.

ok we were slack found with trail runner - we are engineers not musically gifted- had lots of fun we went to level one - i know thats slack
Easy find for the start of this multi cache and so much fun.
Got the coordinates of GZ with difficulity level 3.
Spent 20 mintues at GZ and then when about to give up, decided to read the full cache details again to discover that the GZ needed to be adjusted, LOL! I missed that bit.
So having now corrected the coordinates headed off and the cache was found quickly.

Once again some excellent fun from a Muzza cache, after just completing Bed Bugs we moved onto Simon for some more fun after locating the first stage we quickly received the coordinates for the final GZ but decided to have a few more goes before heading off. We completed level 5 and had a go at 6 before throwing in the towel and heading off to the cache.
Thanks Muzza for these great caches.

Wow! Having made the appropriate adjustments to the coordinates today made a huge difference.
Since this was a revisit we didn't have to go back to GZ to do the first part again and had the cache in hand @ 13:44hrs.
Didn't take anything, but we left a little red race car and $50 in the log book.

The initial part of this cache would have to be the best that I have seen. Fantastic doesn't even come close to describing this on. Unfortunately I neglected to read all of the description and missed the part where GZ had been changed and we had to recalculate the final coordinates.
I can see that I am going to have to have another go at this one now that I have read the whole description.
Thanks for a really cool first part of a Multi part cache Muzza.

Having just completed Bed Bugs, I was curious to see what this one would be like. Also very clever! Did level 1 to get the answer, then forgot to try other levels to see what i could get up to. Will have to try again on my next visit. GPS reception at the GZ meant it took 15 mins to actually locate the cache. Next time I'll copy down the clue. Thanks muzza.

Another bit of nice micro-controller work . Would have been much easier if I had read the instructions BEFORE going to GZ. When I had the right co-ords the final cache was pretty straight forward. I spent a hour removing the grass seeds from my socks when I got home!

Out with Lockyer_024. My map units had been changed a few weeks back on my GPSr, and I'd forgotten to put them back, so this one was a bit of a wild goose chase. Got there in the end. Grass seeds stuck to socks aplenty! OUCH! Thinking of starting up my own turf business when the seeds start sprouting. Lockyer_024 tackled Simon, and defeated him on level 5. I tried on level 8, and promptly told Simon to shut up.

also strolled down to wpt1 for a quick cache check and noted that the batteries were flat so maintenace will be needed !!!!

After the disappointment with Bed Bugs, this one raised a smile again. We found the first site without trouble, then sat out of sight of the track and played with the device. I suspect the power source will need topping up before long, but there was enough juice to allow us to get the second coordinates. Nice woodland and a great walk up to Birdlands Reserve, which is greening up after the summer fires. Not too many muggles around in the evening so we sat and enjoyed reading the log, after adding our own entry. Took the 2 c coin and left a poker chip keyring. TFC Muzza. Great fun!
This proved to be my last cache for the day as I headed to my mate's place in Berwick. After putting one coordinate wrong I headed off 200m up a hill (should have looked at the terrain rating!) before realising, and so got it on my way back to the car.
I initially started on level 7 but I was playing while I was reading the instructions, so when I bombed out of that I played on level 1 and got it. Like Bed Bugs this was very well put together and I'm sure the kids love it!
Cheers Muzza,

Anyway it's great to reach this milestone after 2-1/2 years, but that's how long it takes when you only cache on Sundays. We were a bit aprehensive that we would not get there today, and we proceeded off to the start whilst promising ourselves we would give it a really good go which we did. Another "thing" that we do not do well on, but we kept at it. This area is such a great place for caches and all the "wildlife around" just seem to make this a better place. Thank you muzza for bringing us to this place again and thanks for the cache. TNLN.

Wandered over to the fallen log, had problems, then re-read the clue and found the bit at the end re the changed co-ords. Went to that spot which put us in a place that must have been wrong, so we called it quits and moved on.
12:00 On the way back from MMM we stopped by to say hi. Cache in good condition In: Car Out: TB BMX
Found at 5:45pm after we too fell for the 'failing to read the instructed application of the co-ord offsets' trick. We found the cool device with no problems and we reached level 5 on the device - only by pooling our brain power! We then wandered off and searched for the cache (not knowing that we would never find it there!). After an extensive search I decided to return to the device and retrieve the clue. Half way through decrypting it I then read that there was actually some more arithmetic needed to get the correct final stash position! D'oh! I returned to the other 38'ers with the news that we hadn't read the instructions correctly and that we had wasted our time there. Anyway, we trundled over to the correct co-ords and found the cache quickly. TN, Left TB BMX Dude and SL. Thanks for the walk in quite nice natural surroundings and creating an ingenious game device!

Got it today . Still, I haven't learned much from my experiences last week - while doing "What's Up Doc?" by the Farmers earlier today, I again failed to properly read the cache notes (I blame it on using a PDA - I didn't scroll down far enough to get all the info) and would have ended up 5km away if I hadn't noticed the failure while doing "CCC" . Oh well, I think it's always going to be a problem with solo caching - if you've got a partner these slipups are much less likely to go unnoticed.

Thanks Muzza - a great cache

Some days everything goes right, some days it doesn't . I put it down to the 40+° heat today - I headed off for the cache with just my GPSr, PDA and a pen (I figured I could skip my backpack - it was too hot after a day in the sun, and I was out of water). I located the device ok - and succeeded at Level 1 (I did ok at Level 2 too, but my brain was melting I think so I didn't press my luck with higher levels). I'd thought I wouldn't need any paper, but I did - so I wrote the coords on a leaf before entering them in the GPSr. I headed off for GZ after also writing the coded clue on another leaf. I got to GZ, and it looked a likely spot, but I couldn't see a cache or any sign of searching, so I managed to decode the clue by writing on a piece of bark (those spotted gums have great bark for this ) - which seemed to confirm the spot, but despite searching for 30-40 mins, I couldn't find it . The heat was really getting to me by now, and I was getting very dehydrated, so I managed to drag myself away (very disappointed - it's been a long time since I've missed one when I've had the right coords and it's actually been there). When I got home, I checked the logs (which I could have done in the field, on my PDA) and immediately noticed Robmc's reference to the cache notes - I hadn't read them recently, so hadn't added the offsets .
At least I'm happy that the cache is there and I didn't simply overlook it. I'd like to think I've learned from this, but it's not the first time I've failed to check clues, logs and cache notes - so I'm probably doomed to make the same mistake for all of eternity (Dante's undocumented 8th level of Hell - reserved for cachers who don't read the docs [xx(]).
Thanks anyway Muzza - it was yet another great device and I'm confident I'll get it next time

Found 14:45, another fantastic Muzza cache the ingenuity and work that goes into these caches is fantastic and really makes them a joy to do [^]
TNLN, thanks Muzza for another fantastic cache.

Found the machine without trouble, and unashamedly used level one. This type of exercise is NOT my strong point! Like the previous finder I went to the wrong coordinates although unlike him I had read the instructions![B)] Perhaps the next finders could attach a copy of the relevant section to the instructions with the instrument if muzza wouldn't mind? Once I sorted out my error the find was not too hard. Thanks muzza for more kidly fun.
Straight from the excitement of Bed Bugs, I raced (well slowly rode) to here. Dumped the pushie near an old tree stump just off the path and walked to the cache. Started on level 1 just so I made sure I had the co-ords, then worked up a few more levels.
Didn't read the Note, so I searched in a likely spot for quite a while , thinking Muzza's hides are usually easier to find than this! Eventually read the cache notes and fixed my GZ. It was right near where I had originally left my bike (almost stepped on it!).
Thanks, Robmc.

Found by new chums dandg on their 1st cache along with penndragon at 3.30pm. Good fun TNLN. Nice walk on a great day thanks muzza
Another great 1 for the kids.
Only hit 2 spiders today. Must invest in a better stick!
Got all smart and didn't read notes properly (Dead give-away for the level I had chosen.) Level 1.
Found it in the end & clocked up my second official cache for the day. TFTC

Found at 12.15. Had the day off work and thought we would do a couple of caches and then have a picnic lunch at nearby lake. Kids enjoyed this one, Eldest gumleaf cracked it easily on level 4 and then he wanted to try level 8, almost did it too.
Whilst writing in the logbook a male passerby stopped on the otherside of the tree to do a wee wee. We saw him but he didn't see us until he resumed his journey and passed by along the nearby track. Interesting experiences come the way of Geocachers.
Took Compass, left spring balance. Thanks Muzza, great cache.

15:25 Found with Clarks Mob. Took our two families out to show the newby the finer points of caching. Everybody went back to the car and left us to finish the logging Bed Bugs (which is close by) and when I turned around CM1 was off on the trail of this cache. Took us a while to do and when we got back to the cars we were in trouble. I had the car keys [xx(]
