Thanks to TheWonderStuff for checking this one for us, he has confirmed it is no longer there. This has been replaced twice before and as we travel to Auckland a lot less frequently than we used to we have decided to archive this cache.
The disturbed grass was probably from me as about 3 weeks ago I also could not find it. As it was only about my 5th time trying to find a cache I was a little uncertain, But now with 2 other DNF I am sure I was in the right spot.
After a long walk to GZ in the stormy weather today we were disappointed that we could not find the cache it was obvious where it should have been with the disturbed grass but it must have dropped down to middle earth perhaps . We did however go home with something extra - mud up to the shoulders .
Found the site but not the cache found lots of holes and the western end but no cache
Out exploring Ambury Farm Park. All the pukekos seem to be "In Transit" this morning. Nice hide at GZ. Thanks.

Came to this park to do some night orienteering. Going to the cache as the GPS points means climbing a lot of fences, but we got there and the hide was good! Nice area! Thanks for the cache.
Used to live very close to here so had many walks through the park. First time as a cacher today though. Great spot, nice hide, TFTC, Biggles.

No GC's or TB's in the cache, there was one log after butterfly lady, they have not logged online yet.

Took less than a minute to get our hands on this cache today. Which unfortunately was wet. Log book was ok though. Dried out a bit (rain threatening though! so is still a little damp)
Left Prickly pear GC and picked up TB & GC.
No sign of night racer or Moneydork's GCs

Lovely walk round Ambry Park, would be a great place to bring my volunteer holiday programme group for a camp.
Live walk around Ambury Park.
Im sure I did another cache close to here !!
Beut day for it.

Just checking up and all is okay. Dropping off a couple trackables: pfalstad's Luminous Energy Geocoin and Night Racers geocoin
Nice walk along the small peice of coast. Not many out on this windy day.
Cheers.
PS . I may have left the KWI GC in this cache, but think I logged it into "Goodbye Land Of the Long White Cloud" cache will fix the error if no one picks it up before I can get back on the net.
Cheers.

A nice spot on the edge of suburbia. Wish we could have stayed longer to visit all the locals - alas a flight to the South Island awaits. TFTC
200th find!!! Very cool place, shame we had a plane to catch or we'd stay longer as it was such an interesting spot. TNLN TFTC (PS: the bunnies were cute!!)
Auckland is so fortunate to have this amazing farm park right on their door step. Staying here for a week to explore the area. TFTC
This is a neat farm park.
We were getting tired after a full days caching and headed off the wrong track for a bit.
Didnt see any signs of Geocoins in the cache.
Ive never seen a lava tube before... cool.

Got this one on our way back to the car after cycling around the foreshore. Great sneaky location! Hopefully a nice stop off for the geocoin.

Kids went out in the pouring rain and introduced a muggle kid to geocaching whilst we sat in our motorhome having civilized adult time. Easy find. Lots of fun. Thanks
After much searching with torch and long stick, it had definately gone this time. So we have replaced it with a new one, containing all the usual stuff.
Here with Team Bonafide orienteering. Stopped by so TB could log the find, but there was no way this cache could be retrieved. It is way back in the hole and even a stick didn't help. Owner help please!
oh dear, another DNF - that's two today on our brief visit.
This one was sheepish to say the least. GZ took us to a spot that was 7m from any likely hiding spots, so the clue was resorted to. Then trekking stick employed as an arm lengthener... two main areas of search the full length... plus an extra hole found.
Both of us lying prone, extracting rocks just in case they had been put there as cover also. The long grass was well and truly pulled back by this stage.
Whoops, this is a cycle path also.... pleasanties exchanged and then PAF option... confirmed we were on the right track. More horizontal considerations, until we knew that we just we not going to be lucky here today.
Oh, well - it's a pleasant spot to return and explore again another day.

Nice quick find, in another jewel of an area in Auckland. Thought the Wonders CITO Geocoin would enjoy this area. TFTC.

Easy find when I sorted out the right place!! Had to revert to the clue, well done for the hide! Nice lttle walk in, good to see the council making places like this available so that city slickers can appreciate what its like in the country!

Lots to see on the way to this cache on the first day of summer - ducklings, peacock chicks, lambs, calves, and milking time. Ouy 5yr old even had a turn at hand milking the cow! Reached GZ and had to search for the cache under the gaze of 40 pairs on eyes - muggles of the 4 legged woolly variety. Great hidey hole.

Out hunting with XenaCommander on the back seat of Splat the city bike. A HUGE horse was recieving visitors and kindly allowed us and others to pat him and stroke his lovely soft nose. He let us all know when it was time up by blowing off long and loud as he walked away... giggles all around.
TK got paws on this cache.... XC was unwilling to delve as he still has memories of another farm park hole in the ground that was occupied by something live and furry with nippy teeth.
Out bottle opener, in gel pens and calling cards

Hunting a few with TechnoKitten on the cache-bike Splat.. We were tidying up a few in Manukau. Came here and parked the bike and were pleased to see the Clydesdale receiving visitors.. XC always thinks it is an honour to be close to an animal like this. Very friendly although his flatulance was not held back for visitors..!!
walked around to GZ and TK soon had it in hand. A nice spot to sit and enjoy the view and write log. I dropped in "Chepre the Sacred Beetle TB" to continue its journey chasing the sun.
Thanks for bringing us here.

Followed the path further around from M@'s In Transit cache to complete this one. This one had also been found by muggles who signed the logbook but there were no signs of damage or theft.

Good quick find then a leisurly wander back chatting with the animals. Great cache. Cheers. TNLN.
Mamoose and Family found it just before leaving for the States. Iffy weather, but a swell spot good for families close to the airport and we appreciated it being there. Took Aussie $2 and left a hand warmer. Good Bye New Zealand!! We will miss you too much!
Rala has been here before, but today she was on her own without Rumo. On her way to and from the cache she saw thousands and thousands of sheep, but a pukeko only once in a while.
The GPS was guiding Rala to another candidate in the area, so that only after decoding the hint the cache was found very quickly.

10:12 Our one and only cache for the day, and our 61st for our holiday. Windy with squally showers today and we had to make a dash back to the car. Tftc
Great little hidey hole, found fairly quick and I rushed off back to the car as another shower of rain started.
All J'N'K's caches now found
TNLNSL, thanks.

We used the hiking pole to angle the cache up to another hole where I grabbed it, but it wouldnt fit through the hole! But I managed to shuffle it along to another and it was retrieved

We were a little apprehensive about how long it might take us to find this cache. But it was suprisingly quick. Our 5 year old was poking around and cried 'I can hear the cache' and he could!
Picked up USA geocoin and left Baashful TB to be with some of his relatives.
Lots of Pukekos around too....

Arrived at ground zero, poked around the likely spots. Nothing. Did some serious poking around, but still nothing. Was about to declare it a goner, when I had one more poke with a longish stick... Ta da! Just managed to reach the cache.

Morning find. Took the opportunity to look for a few caches on this quick trip to NZ. was distracted by the pukekos as they were out feeding. had the wander through a flock of sheep to get the cache. Great spot and an amazing amount of wildlife to be seen.
Good hide, took some scrambling to find. Nice place, lovely scent from wildflowers.

Hello from CANADA! I'm not sure about the exact date but.... Visiting my sister and family who frequent this farm. A beautiful country NZ and had a wonder 3 weeks travelling with our 4 kids. Unfortunately, this was the only geocache we took time to find.
Brilliant area to have a cache located in. Definitely kid-friendly and enjoyable views. Relatively easy to find, but a little skill is required to extract from it's lair.

Found the general location, but not the cache. Didn't have the cheat sheet, so didn't know what I was looking for (cache size) or any sort of clue, or even if the cache was still current.
Going back soon with clue.

Cache confirmed findable. No p'kos here today, but there were many of them next to the 'in transit' cache. Very serene place! Check out the flying sheep, attached!!!
A nice stroll amongst the Pukeko. Starting raining gently as I found the cache and soon headed back to the car. Not many people out today even though it was Anniversary Day. Cheers Gav [1031]
Cache is alive and well after all, after a bit of hunting and a torch I finally recovered it, so its all up and running again.
Looks like the Pukekos have had their revenge - cache is missing. Haven't got a replacement one with me at present, so will fix up later.
Our first New Zealand cache! We're now international cachers! We were able to walk off Christmas lunch with this cache. A top location I've visited many times before in my pre-cache days. Nice to be back. TNSL. Left A$2. TFTC.
Yup - there were plenty of pukekos alright!! But though they watched me get down on my knees to get the cache, they won't tell, I'm sure. It's a nice spot - lots of animals for the kids. No swaps, thanks and cheers from Grandalf(702)
Second visit to this great park to locate another cache.
Plenty of Pukeko around. No problems with the find.
Thanks.

Up from Wellie for the week so decided to check my cache. All is in order, cache is dry and secure. The cache is now deeper in its hidie hole but just adds to the fun of the search. Grabbed TB Flash whilst on the job.
A nice quick find with no one around at 0845, didn't see many pukeko's though, must have been too early for them.

A nice easy 2nd find for the day, almost the first people in the park for the day. Dropped off a TB.
#433. Always a pleasure to come here even in the pouring rain. Took the Geocoin and TB to continue their missions. Left Jersey 2p. TFTC.
Found while out with Navigull today - impressed with the assortment of animals - love the bird species in this country.
Dropped off some canadian merchandise.

Stopped off today with pariah [GC] visiting from Canada. We initially headed for the prominent vegetation but soon got the GZ properly sussed out.
pariah was keen to photograph a Pukeko and was a little disappointed when one ran away. I said not to worry there will be plenty more. I am not sure he believed me, but by the time we left he was convinced.
Walking to this cache was a lot easier than the previous one I visited this Park in search of.

Pelting down this afternoon, so only two running muggles, many dejected looking sheep, and Pukekos vanished up the road (one didn't make it across the road). Cache site easily spotted and the challenge was to complete the log and still keep dry - failed on that count. Know this park well, can see it from home! TFTC
There was a social group of some kind having a large barbeque here. The rain kept them all undercover. That meant I had an easy time hunting for the cache. The pukeko's seemed to be the only ones enjoying the weather today.
Certainly lots of pukekos and we even ran into a friendly peacock! Enjoyed our little walk thanks. TNLN
Enjoyable walk dispite the very light drizzle. Wasn't concentrating and overshot the correct path, but soon had the cache in hand once that was sorted.

Yes, my first FTF! 6km from home but a 17km drive and worth it.
Quick find in a pleasant spot, followed by a nice stroll down to the water, where a sudden commotion in some thick bushes had my scalp tingling. Probably just a silly pukeko in paradise.
