Went to replace logbook ... and dnf'd own cache again! Not where i put it. Perhaps it's moved back to the fenceline again. Might have to bring back some King island cream to go with the blackberries here - they don't seem to spray these judging from the size of them
Took a while to find with all the recently moved rocks. Odd why the concrete path starts and stops in the moddle of nowhere. Needs a new logbook. Thanks forthferals.
Our first Tassie cache after flying in from WA.
Nice spot and mural.
Took TB left nil.

dropped in to check on the situation - sorry no coin in there someone put a rock in as a swap and logbook is at last page otherwise in good order. Dropped TB
this cache has always been fine for Tb's but a few too many coins missing in Launceston generally lately to be trusting any in this cache again
The grass had been slashed and cleared- and some large rocks dislodged by this 'maintainence' so I think I know why the cache kept getting uncovered! Moved the cache back to it's original spot so leaving the track is no longer necessary.

The seed for this "FEB 08 NUMBERS RUN" germinated during our South Coast Chaos walk and now we have done it.
Finished work as early as possible, not early enough, on Friday and set of for Somerset. Managed about two hours sleep/rest and started 00:00 and finished at 23:54 today.
We had relaxed breaks for breakfast, lunch and dinner and achieved our goal with only nine DNFs, no injuries and were still smiling at the end.
Thankyou for this cache forthreralz

Found okay, but was very suprised about the nearby path not making it all the way back to the bridge (I'd missed that in the cache description at the time). TFTC.
hahaha after consulting the last finder the cache is probably there but someone's moved it to a 'safer' spot. Can you DNF your own cache? This is the third time I've done it Anyway unable to trade coins today - will be back bext weekend to check coords of the new hide!
Early morning find.
Hands were so cold I could hardly sign the logbook.
Thanks FF

Found at 1215 with Brian the Explorer, both of us are down from Qld. Nice Mural.
Found 200705171041 . I'd thought of trying this one early in the morning but decided that breakfast was the better option . As it turned out, it was conveniently on the route I chose to head north and proved to be riverside promende (of sorts ))and an easy find

An interesting mural and walk along the river. The clue and good cords made this an easy get. thanks forth feralz
What an interesting mural and story - unfortunately no PW and our GPs put us on the path!
The spot-on co-ordinates had me with this one in hand at 16:45 after a visit to "Footy Fever" just nearby.
TNLNSL. Thanks forthferalz.
TNLNSL. Thanks forthferalz.
Interesting walk beside the river. I liked the mural - its a pity it is in a spot where it is so unlikely to be seen. Cache was an easy find, thankts forthferalz.
This was the fist of 35 caches we found for the day. Found at 5:45am. A nice easy one to start the day, right near the place we were staying. TNLN. Thanks ForthFeralz.
a nice walk, but parked on the wrong side of the river (murphys law), lived in Launceston for about 20 years and thats the first time I have seen that mural.
Nice quick find, a refreshing change from most of those already done in this area. Shame this mural isn't more visible.
Took TB (logged into another cache tho - ) and left TB Gecko who is looking for Highway 1.
TFTH forthferalz.
Now onto a couple of others in this area...

Easy find in an obscure area.Would wonder why such a lovely mural would be painted there as not too many people would even know it's there..as obscured by levee.Good hide..cache well covered.Another interesting cache by Forthferalz.TNLNSL TFTC Cheers.
Crusaderwoman did a good job hiding the cache, but the clue helped me find it. Only a short walk from where I am staying & my last cache for Launceston. Now on to the Hobart area...
Will move on the GC. TFTC.

Easy find, was uncovered and had been previously found by general public, after hiding Geo-coin and taking frog we covered it up with grasses and more rocks. Not the best outlook for a geo-coin/travel bug but it seems to have a lot of travel bug traffic to move on soon.
Perhaps best to resite this cache or use a cammo job - the red lid is a give away if no grass is over the cache. I'll visit just after new year. Please don't leave anymore coins or TB's in here until then. happy new year!
Droped in this morning to pick up tassie Gekko our TB. He made it from Western Australia to Tasmania to join his family for Christmas. Thanks to every one for their help.

A nice easy find down by the river. Took Elzo TB which I will take to Sydney, getting him a little closer to Ireland. Thanks for the cache.
Sad place, nice cache. Found Tassie Tekko too but are going the wrong way (back to Europe). Hope somebody can drop him in Wellington before Christmas.

Returned to this spot after an evening in Lauceston. We had to replace the Tassie Gekko TB because unfortunately we've been called back for work and can't help on his onward journey. We hope he makes it home for Christmas - we're off to Europe. Good Luck - Penguins !!!
Found this evening - an interesting spot, we remember coming here years ago. Thanks for bringing us back. In: Robot Dog TB and one of our calling cards; Out: Tassie Gekko TB. TFTC - Penguins
A lovely mural and a wasted path - you'd think they'd encourage more people to use what could be an asset.
Left TB Gekko who wants to be in Hobart for Christmas 2006.

Noticed that the locals had been a little slow in getting to this one, so thought that we should visit - well, third to find is not bad for a southern team we didn't think!!! Great mural - wonder how that came to be??? Haven't got our christmas swaps out of mothballs yet, so L 'success' frog T UV paint. Thanks!
After discovering that the 'Red Letter Day #1' base was closed, we opted to seek out this cache instead. We found a path and a beautiful mural that we didn't even know existed. Cache easily found, and as per usual with FF caches, very well stocked and thoughtfully presented.
Took bookmark, left mirror. Thanks forthferalz

We had a bit of time in Launceston so thought we'd go find this one. We were surprised to see the mural, something not spotted before. And what's the story with the path in the middle that goes nowhere? Anyway another good Forthferalz cache, that once again got us to a spot we would have never gone otherwise. Took cards and left Christmas star flashing badge. Thanks for another good one.
