After 2 previous caches we also found this one. The cach is just lying on the ground but it has a black color so you could'nt see it so quick.
We've lived in Gladstone 15 years and we never noticed this part of the park! Great find for the kids. Thanks.

Could this hunt have gone more pear-shaped if it tried? I think not...
I parked up and made my way to GZ.. which according to the ^&*()()&* useless smartphone was in the middle a dry creek bed. So I hunted in various area. Checked logs. Noted it was now a small.. thats just great... then WHY CAN'T I FIND THE BLESSED THING? [v]
I had sent a message to Mr Woodyrothwell and to Mr Bundyrumandcoke. Mr BRC replied first and told me where it was... which I suspected. But I didn't look hmm.. "hard enough". I eventually found the prize.
I signed the log and moved on.. quite embarassed it took me so long to locate something so simple. A nice little place to visit. TFTC Bundyrumandcoke.. and thank you for replying

Last night and this morning my wife and I came for a walk through the amazing nearby park and even though I have been married for either 3 or 23 years, I discovered my wife has a new fetish. She seems oddly attracted to the big colourful things that light up in the park. I don't know what they are called, but she wrapped her legs around them like a toy boy lover.
Man I was jealous... so I had to distract her with this cache. After bending our backs Mrs Woodyrothwell found the cache and I suddenly realised that I as happy for my wife to be attracted to bits of plastic that don't live in my wallet. tftc

Good coords but still took a little while to spot it. Seems it's grown from micro to a small. Thanks for the cache
Had a 5 minute look in the rain in obvious places. Could not locate it. Maybe another time.
A very nice Cache, a nice quick find in a spot where you would probably place it if you were publishing a cache. Brand new fresh logbook. Cache in perfect condition. Visiting from port Elizabeth South Africa. At a children’s concert, and finding this cache was a welcome break from the concert. TFTC
Found.. finally after 3 returns. Needs some serious maintenance though, no lid, no paper.
Tricky to find at first as our gps was off a little but we got there in the end. TFTC
We came across your cache, Bundyrumandcoke, on our way caching towards this year's QOGM in Barcaldine.
Nice quick find. Parking was harder. Note: no lid on the tin. Really badly needs a new log sheet. Given Geocrater's propensity to disable NM caches, I'll just leave it as this addendum to the log for action.
Log signed and cache replaced at 10:02 AM on September 17, 2018. TFTC.

This needs a new scroll to sign. The shopper docket is getting pretty full. Magnet to hold it down was a good thing to see. We added a happy hook to the box.
Found the cache however I think it has been muggled! The lid is missing and the log is a shopper docket.
TFTC chewy on ya boot

Was unable to locate - but we are only beginners and still had great fun searching. Thanks
Nice easy find on our last day in Gladstone before sailing to Pancake Creek. Lovely area! TFTC
Finally heading south. staying a few days in Gladstone.
Survived the thunderstorm last night..... just. Slow start this morning and off to tackle some chores and caches.
Boy with the rain of the last few weeks the mozzies are ferocious here. Not sure if we will tackle more caches tomorrow. Need to buy more aerogard and Bushmans repellant. uggh.
We did find your cache though.

Here on business for a week or so, this is my first geocache in Gladstone and only second here in Australia. I have no car so I'm hoping to grab a few in the area before I leave. Nice brisk walk this morning definitely colder than I am used to as I am from Hawaii. Good spot for this geocache considering there is no top to it
Found in the last place I looked. Cache is missing lid. Nice quiet spot at 5:30 on a Sunday night. TFTC and greetings from California USA.
Just sailed into Gladstone Marina to shelter from cyclone Debbie, and thought I'd see the sights via Geocaching. Log too wet to sign, but the geckos and mozzies were keeping the cache well guarded. TFTC
Greetings from Seattle! This is our first cache in Queensland! We had some time after getting in before the boat out to Heron Island so we walked up this way for lunch and see there was a cache across the street. Thanks!
Early for the Heron Island ferry, went looking for a few caches. Greetings from Seattle. TFTC
Came for a drive from toowoomba to buy fish n chips my wife first time in Gladstone

Found on my drive south today, logging a few caches along the road.
After checking in at my hotel I went for a caching tour of Gladstone
Night time it was easy to park close and I had the cache in hand shortly thereafter as I approached from the right side
Thanks for hiding

TFTC Visiting from Victoria and have spent lots of time in and around Gladstone Ports. As well the dolphins the boats in the harbour are a great attraction for us.
Found it, love the spot. I have taken the bits of log the extraneous log bits out of the cache. I'll have them with me at duck dash get together Yeppoon or let me know how to get them too you if you want them. They were just mouldering the cache up. Rest of log is all good. SL and left a little swap. Tftc
After two previously failed attempts at different geos, finally finding this one made my day! Great cache!! Happy hunting!
A nice easy find after a very pleasant walk to GZ. I had to wait out an exercising muggle who was stretching nearby, but once the coast was clear, I moved in to the right elevation and soon had the container in hand... [^]
Name quickly added to the log, I tucked the cache back and headed off. No mozzies to bother me, but no bridge raise either... That would have been nice...
Cheers Bundy.

*Yeah. On second try. Got the whole family on this one and luckily found it, our only cache in Gladstone! Had a nice walk around the area but only DNFs otherwise. And didn't get to see the opening of the bridge either. Thanks for a nice walk.
Log was wet but turned it upside down, might stop water getting in , found with bublar99 TFTC
What a great hide. There's a few muggles about but that just made it more fun Tftc
Some maintenance works going on on the bridge, giving a slightly expose view of the raising portion, an interesting sight. Resulting in a big diversion though! Searched high and low for this until re-checking my gps (just using my iphone); it decided to shift me a few meters along aaannnd bingo. Cheers.
Finally! ! I've been waiting to try this one again since i failed a year ago. So good to find it
We arrived in Gladstone this afternoon from Sydney. We're on our way to Heron Island for the annual Barrier Reef Swim weekend. So glad we had a caching day in this fascinating town.
We walked over from Spinaker Park - an interesting walk. We passes massive boats being loaded with coal, serious marine engineering places and the volunteer coastal patrol where we were able to check our GPS accuracy. Checked out the Tourist Information Centre and the place where we'll catch the ferry tomorrow morning. Then on to GZ. Good hiding spot and great place to check out the bridge which did not open while we were there. This was the start of our BR&C walking tour of Gladstone. SL TFTC Cheers... Gaztek

Took a nice afternoon stroll & decided to hunt for this cache. Quick find by 'D'. TNLN SL Thanks for the cache.
Quick find with my taller husband, I didn't find it when I was with another short mate
