Wow that was an adventure. Eventually found the cache, then had to work out getting back to my car. TFTC
Found on the 14th of Sept on a very rainy day. We were staying nearby at Banksia Peninsula for the weekend with Gippsland Adventure Therapy. Apologies for the late logs.
Just replace container and checked contents plus put in a trophy in I had made for another cache, all good and waiting for next visit.
TFTC - In the area with HeliKelli and located the cache.yorkoz Cache requires maintenance - Cache container missing lid
Found with Kploz. Great size cache with plenty of room for swaps and trackables. Container was missing lid but contents are dry. Placed logbook in a new ziplock bag to provide more protection as old bag was damaged. Sat by the water to log this cache and enjoyed some quiet time while watching the black swans with Kploz. Thanks for bringing us here.
Thought we’d make this the last cache of the day, but as the sun was setting and the path ran out, we decided to call it a day.
Yeah, path from picnic area goes only about half the 300m needed. It is a bit of a challenge to go the last 150m. Still no lid on the container, but all dry.
TFTC. Nice hide. A bit if bushbashing, and missing a lid. But still dry. Jimmytherat with Noelle04
Thank for the cache yorkoz. No luck from the shoreline but found my way around eventually. Bonus echidna on the way. Found with Jimmytherat
The last 150m was pure bushbashing despite a path showing on the map. Last signature in log was Dec 21 not April 22. The cache had no lid and bag was torn but all amazingly still dry.
Well I'm going to take a photo of the lake. I can't believe how quiet it is right before the lockdown. I guess people are out buying TP. The path is awesome right up to about 100m out from the cache where it disappears. The sistema cache seems to have gone over time as well. What a magical spot. TFTC
Arrived at GZ by the suggested route, but found it far easier to take the direct approach and walk to the road and walk back to the car that way.
Found the cache without a lid, but otherwise all good here. Thanks for the placement yorkoz.

Loved this cache find, though did become errr... eventful with a 3yo in tow Navigated our way to the cache after questioning ourselves and a few laughs but we continued on and found it! TNLN. TFTC.

Challenge was the track seemed to disappear into the Bush.
Another approach and Boom!.

The real adventure was getting here! Biked/walked via the beach from Banksia Peninsula. What a Hike!
Thanks for the adventure!
Thanks for the adventure!
Found in the open and replaced where an obvious close spot was. At dusk with the interesting sounds and bounding creatures surrounding me made for a heart pumping find. Couldnt find lid of cache. Family holiday with hubbys side of 20+ people made me both want and need to find the group of caches placed here. Great location.Tftc.

*This is one of the local caches, we had the opportunity to catch up with, having earned a leave pass after attending swimming lessons with the Grandkids this morning.*
Great to get this one, we took a different approach today to that taken back in June and were quickly at GZ - WOW 11 years in place!
Thanks yorkoz for placing caches for everyone's enjoyment.

This one really is a stayer - 11 years in place!
No luck for us today, we would have needed either of the attributes of the cachers who came on 24/25th of March. Got to a permanent 'camp' - within 100m of the cache, and the trail disappeared. We did manage to see some fascinating jellyfish.

As pet previous log, had to try a few things approaches before the right spot was found. Tftc
Decided to grab a couple of caches while dog sitting the grandkids dogs at Longford.
You would have thought that a person would have known before going into
this area you would have used some mozzie get off stuff so had to keep moving
After finding the track and looks like a know and again camp set up found it retrieved it
signed it and replaced it after bit of a bush bash at the end. Thanks yokroz FTC.

Once I found a logical way to the cache it was easy to navigate to the prize... Tftc
Decided to do a little geo with jbro75 after a beautiful nights camp on the water at Blonde Bay. I think the 'beach track' to this cache has long gone. We found segments of a track. Bit chuffed that this was cache 8 of the day on 8/8 for pippa8888. TFTC !
OK, we did not find this cache purely because geomum is still working through her snake phobia. We got to within 35 metres of the cache, but because it was such a warm day, heavily overgrown here and snakes are still about (yes sighted one only a few days ago) geomum turned tail and returned empty handed....... maybe on a cold rainy day we will attempt this one again....
Staying the weelend at the nearby waterfront retreat and found this on an early morning walk. Approached from a different way than that suggested and it was only a small bush bash at the end. TFTC!
What a treck through the bushes to the cache had 4 kids in tow. Lots of mozzies , lots of shouting, ran to the beach away from the mozzies. Good cache
Oh my god. This one was possibly the hardest geo i have ever found. Went with the Heartherton Hunters.
Waking up to rain this morning prompted the start of a 200+km round trip from Sale to Bairnsdale (with a few side trips) and return
Many thanx to all of those cache owners who took me to places that surely I would not have visited if not for geocaching
This was #2 of 12 finds

I think I was up to my armpits in wattles today! Thankfully they are easy to bush-bash through. There is no track per-se nor was a stroll along the beach an option. Nice big container though and easy find.
No easy way in to this one today - the rain seems to have washed away all the sand so any beach track is underwater now. Bush bashed our way in and found it easy enough

Lovely weather to be out exploring the coast today with my geo kids first find for the day. Took nothing left nothing TFTC
Track is a bit scrubby but good fun with lovely little spots along the way tftc
Quite a bush bash near the end there! Scampering over large tree trucks was a little rough with my very pregnant wife but certainly a beautiful area to explore, would be fantastic to camp here. Tnln Tftc!
Found on our "Making Memories" Tour of Mainland Australia.
Today we explored Paynesville and surrounding areas using geocaching as our guide.
We found 25 caches and this was one of them. Thanks to all cache owners for placing and maintaining these caches for our enjoyment.

Wattle we do today? Well apart from sailing we'll go geocaching. Missed the start of the trail. Found it, lost it and found it again. Then found IT. TFTC
We where down in Paynesville having a cuppa and scones so did a little detour to find this one on our way home.. ( Need to try and keep our August challenge going) Nice little walk cache is nice and dry and in good condition. Great views nearby of the bay.
Thanks Yorkoz for the hunt !!

What a beautiful spot. I wondered whether the recent bad weather may have affected the position of this cache but it hasn't. A lovely walk.

This was our 7th cache find in the caching run & we found it at: 13:52.
This now makes our total find count 5702.
[blue]
Thanks for placing a large cache. After finding over 5702 caches, it is really sad to note that the trend of placing small caches (without swaps) is increasing. While nanos have their place, eclipse tins and 200ml Sistemas seem to be the norm these days. It really makes us feel glad to find a large, kid friendly cache.
We thoroughly enjoyed the stroll to this one, although we "bush bashed" along a non-existant track in many places.
[/blue]
Coordinate Accuracy: Excellent (Under 2 metres)
Cache Condition: Container and log book are in good shape.
Took: Nothing.
Left: Cowboy figure
Thanks NELLYJR for the hunt today.

with Smart Sassy Siren.
We battled the mosquitoes here today as we searched for this cache. We found ourselves at Wattle Point as a result of casing out the countryside for quality caches hides.
On finding this cache, I removed the Santa Claus chocolate, not for my consumption but so there was no food in the cache.

Decided to find this one quickly today as it has been sitting there close to home but not checked. Track along foreshore is fairly overgrown, but still passable. Also quite possible to access directly from the road.

We had trouble finding the track due to all the growth around; We then got to a large fallen tree, I had to think how I was going to tackle this one. (I was still recovering from knee surgery) once we found the solution it was back onto the overgrown track. At GZ the cache was located easily.

I didn't have my GPSr with me today, but having driven down to Wattle Point to check it out on the way back to Melbourne from Paynseville, I decided to pull out the iPhone to see if there were any nearby caches. Thanks to nellyjr there was one not to far away so I made a dash for it inbetween rain showers. The path is a bit overgrown and partially obstructed in a couple of places but i mananged to find my way. The mozzies were ferocious at GZ. My timing was perfect as the heavens opened up just as I returned to my car. Thanks for the hide nellyjr!
Nice walk, and easy find. Beat the mossies and the rain. Dog enjoyed it too!

Out and about in the area today, parked and strolled to GZ dodging fallen trees on the way. cache found and logged, no swaps made. TFTC
Australian seaside bush at one of it's best. A lovely place to return for another day of fun, picnic, exploring, fishing and swimming.

First Geocache attempt in many years, thought I'd give the new iphone 4 a work out. Using the Geocaching App it worked a treat. Good fun getting back into it again. Bring ya mossie spray!
Had a great time finding this cache, mossies were crazy! We actually found it on the 30th December 2010
