We are heading home to Vic after a road trip to WA. We are targeting some multi caches along the way today and we collected the numbers quite quickly and then wandered over to GZ. This was a nice quick one
What a stunning location! The hike to Beautiful Valley was filled with vibrant wildflowers and breathtaking views. I felt like I was walking through a painting! The cache was cleverly hidden near a large rock formation, and I had to do a bit of searching to find it. It was worth the effort! Signed the log and left a small trinket for the next adventurer. Cant wait to return in different seasons to see how the landscape changes! Happy caching! ????Come visit SA's longest running annual event -keep the Long weekend free- June 2025 Can't wait!!2620
Heading to QLD from WA picking up a few LGAs on the way. Thanks COs for placing and maintaining late log
Today we are driving from Port Augusta to Broken Hill. We had only just left Port Augusta, but decided to stop in Wilmington and do this multi. Arriving at the information sign, we collected the numbers and then it was only a short walk to GZ before jumping back into the car. Its cold and windy outside today. Thanks Skippy Domsky
We are travelling with Pprass and have set up in Melrose for a couple of days.Today we went our separate ways -Mr Morris hiking Alligator Gorge and Lady Morris visited Wilmington with the Prasses. Thanks for the cache Skippy.
Found on a beautiful cool but sunny morning on our annual caravan caching trip. Nice quick multi. Thanks Skippy
Still slowly making our way west back home to WA but a day trip up to Quorn via Port Augusta is todays plan.Grabbing caches as we go, easier to stop when not towing.Didnt like the look of the cactus but all good TFTC
OCW PelDroedGwin and geodog Peppa Staying at Spears Creek we took the very scenic drive up to pretty Wilmington. Gathered the numbers and headed to an interesting GZ. Tftc
Ocw the Bebes as we stay in PA. Nice drive by the hills. Collected the numbers and made the calc for a quick find of the cache. Tftc
Last night fitzy_1965 and I stayed at my cousin's place. We, like the rest of the household, were up and on the road early. Our plan was to attend the Mega site, target a D5/T5 cache type that we missed last Feb 29, and then head as far North as we could collecting counties along the way.We ended up in Wilmington at a great pub/hotel and were very thankful for the new air con!__________________________We managed to jag a park right outside the Mega site carpark....couldn't have planned that if we tried! Now we are off to collect oldies & counties as whatever inbetween. This was one of them. All caches found quickly and easily unless otherwise mentioned.
34,289. Found with minniek during our trip to The Great Leap Forward Mega Event in Adelaide on 29th February 2024.Day 3 : After staying overnight at minniek's cousin's place, we headed into town this morning for the main event - literally. After lots of planning and driving we were finally here ! After the fun of the Mega was over, we cherrypicked a few caches in town, then headed north County hunting. Lots of great caches to chose from. This was the next cache - and it was a nice quick find once at GZ. Stamped the log, replaced the cache as found, then we headed over to our hotel for the night. Thanks Skippy. !!
Mr Tardis was out for an adventure bike ride through some back roads and tracks around Orroroo and surrounding areas.
Wilmington is a lovely quiet town with some stunning scenery.
I found the cache in the first place I looked - don't you just love it when that happens?
Signed the log. Thanks for the cache Skippy.

Vic school holidays so kids and I are road tripping to explore the Eyre Peninsula. Gorgeous little town here. Thanks for the fun and adventure!
Team Crackers, Micaparamedic, Papi4506 and I are heading back to Melbourne slowly. We are enjoying going to new places (for us anyway) and finding some caches as we go.Sith a nice old GC, it was a must for me. I do like trying to find old caches if I can. We gathered what we needed to find GZ and the cache was found soon after. Pleased to have a smiley here.Great place for a cache and thank you for keeping it active for so long.
Working our way home from a tour at Maralinga with a group of cachers, mainly from South Australia. Now there is only Geoturtle37, Team Crackers, Micaparamedic and myself. We are having a great time, visiting new, remote locations and finding caches as we go.Once we had the details we needed, we made a nice quick find. Would be great to see this area when it had had a decent wet season. Thanks for placing this cache and bringing us here.
Stymied on the drive down to Port Augusta from Quorn by the Pitchie Richie Marathon, so had to detour via Wilmington. This gave us the opportunity to grab a couple of caches that weren't on the hit list.
A quick find, thanks for the placement.

Pick up Detofinbars this morning with a trip to Port Pirie for Podiatrist appointment and then onto Wilmington to pick up trees from a trees for life grower. We were getting caches along the way and had a fantastic day. TFTC

Did this quick multi as we were passing through on the way back from Alligator Gorge. It certainly is a nice town with a great back-drop. Was happy to see the final location was only a short distance away and the cache found quickly with Karyn71. TNLN. Cheers.
Found quickly, after navigating washed out bridges, flooded creek crossings and paddling around Alligator Gorge! tftc.
On our travel stopped to grab this cache took a double take but soon had it in hand the log has dried out, signed and popped back, thanks for placing this cache
Parked near GZ for the info for this little multi .The cache was located, signed and replaced .

The Non Wangaratta Event Tour 2021!
Covid has postponed the Mega in Victoria until January but leave had been granted for AnyMules to attend with me and Bushfire. So Anymules and I went on a tour to Eyre Peninsular and mid north South Australia instead whilst Bushfire joined us in spirit only as covid meant he couldn't come here either. Not needing anything for my yearly goals I hoped I didn't add too many to the DNFs [B)]
DAY 4: Grab a few move solved puzzles and head to Terowie.
A quick stop to grab some numbers and do the calc's. [^] Interesting GZ which lucky for us was not open and so no muggles. [^] For a moment I thought Skilly was channelling TK2 with his Big Bad Brad placements but didn't have to contend too much with the cactus.
Only one of the three goals from last year achieved. So once again trying and fill my calendar with multi-caches and complete loop 11 again this year. [^] For my third goal I will try and get my DNF numbers from over fifty to single digits. That should keep me busy again this year! [:o)]
***Thanks Skippy for putting out this cache and maintaining it for our enjoyment. ***

Was out on an afternoon caching run while in Wilmington and headed for this one. Reached the listed coordinates and found some numbers, manipulated them as required and got some coordinates. Wandered to GZ and quickly located the cache in the first place I looked. Gotta love that. Signed the log and then replaced all as found. Beautiful cache in a beautiful valley.

I collected the information needed to solve this multi from the sign, crunched the numbers and then made a short journey to the cache. Love caching in Willmington.
We were in Wilmington to say goodbye to hubbys sister, a beautiful angel who sadly passed from cancer. We decided to honor her memory by locating some of the local caches in her home town.
Nice easy find, a beautiful valley indeed. TFTC

The northward journey continues with ilook4geo and we chose some caches along the route. We found some which took us as far as Quorn. There were no problems in finding the targets and each log was stamped with both names before being replaced as found. Thank you to Skippy for adding to the smilies we achieved today.
Had a good day's caching while on the road with goingplaces2. Picked out a few between Gladstone and Quorn to go on the program. Found each one we wanted, signed the logs and put everything back as found. TFTC.
Found by Sunshine Toledo and Her Majesty at 3:05pm. After walking from the caravan park to here, it was a short walk to GZ but the GPS was being slow to react so we walked in circles for a while. All good in the end though. TFTC
Stopped by at the sign and worked out the coordinates. Short walk to GZ and found the cache out in the open. Left under red brick.

Well it’s 2021 and I have finally said good bye to a not so great 2020 and it was great to finally be able to have a reasonable holiday as I have not had a decent break since 2019.
Making my way towards South Australia and finally crossing the boarder and then being greeted by a couple of very friendly SA police offices which i had the official paper work to allow me to enter.
Making my way north west along various routes finding a few caches as I go.
Geocaching when towing a van is not always easy and I have to be a bit selective on which ones I decide to try and find for safe parking purposes especially along busy highways.
Another one in a town I’m passing through to make it easy for me to park and find.
After working out what was required I headed off to GZ and came to a very interesting place and I like the front yard ornaments.
This one was nearly in plain sight so a quick find.
I soon added my name to the log and I was on my way again.
Thanks Skippy TFTC.

We made a decision to take a two week break and head to the Eyre Peninsula. We were keen to return to Coffin Bay and also to explore some less travelled areas.
We had three nights based in Cowell. One of the highlights there was a drive along the 4WD fire track along the top of the Drake Range.
Then we headed to Port Lincoln for five nights. We have been out to Memory Cove on one day and to Coffin Bay NP on another. We have explored the the town, seen stromatolites, and found a number of great eateries. And found some special caches too including a couple on islands!
Then it was up the west coast to Venus Bay.
While there we headed to Woolshed Cave then it was off to Venus Bay Conservation Park a DF finally a cruise in the Harbor.
Yesterday we headed to Pt Augusta and today we are headed home.
We stopped to grab this multi along the way. Easier find than expected from 10 metres away from GZ.

Heading from Port Pirie to Wilmington for the geo event, so a chance to do some caching and revisit this area, which is looking pretty green after earlier rains.

Today I started off in Peterborough and caches my way around the back roads in the northern area before finishing of the day with a bit of caching with Davidwazza near Wilmington and his event before making the drive home. A total of 89 caches for the day.

GZ was a bit brutal here! But a quick find was made, thankfully! Thanks for placing the cache Skippy.
Having been in Quorn for the long weekend and giving ourselves a bonus day to keep exploring we were making our towards home. I got so many of those out of the way caches that I really enjoy and saw some places that only geocaching brings you to.

Found with e.gregory1 on our way back from the Quorn June Long Weekend Event. Did the sums on the way up and undertook a thorough search. Made the replacement on the way back, realising the cache was well and truly missing. Thanks for the cache Skippy!
Am sure it’s there but after 10 mins of looking no cigar but blood drawn will come back another day TFTH
On our two month travelling trip through Austrialia, we are enjoying all the wonderful places and scenery. We will stop on the way to visit some nice caches as well. This one we could find.

I had a bit of a look for this one after calculating GZ, but after being pricked twice in quick succession, I decided that I didn't really want to continue. My thanks to Skippy for placing it.
I won't say anything about the xache location, I'll just have stern words with you next time we meet. Apparently the garden ornament is for the bells and was a present from his wife
After a little bit of mental gymnastics to get my head around some weirdly placed hashtags the calculations were completed and cache tentatively in hand. TFTC
Waiting to collect family members riding from Melrose to Wilmington so spent time collecting a couple of caches.
Hubbie nearly gaveup as hethought he'd found where it had been. Then I reminded him of the fact it was a multi lol. He was not even close. Unusual garden decorations in the nearby front garden.
One more cache before "Caching out Wilmington" before I have lunch. I made my way to the listed co-ords and did the gathering of the info. Went to GZ to make a reasonably quick find and tentatively reached in for the booty [:o] SL at 12:14 on Mon 12 Feb 2018... now it is most definitely Lunchtime [^] The cache has a cracked lid but the log within is dry TFTC Skippy

Day 6 of 23 of our caching trip to Alice Springs, finding 300 caches in total. This was find #11 and last for the day.
Today we drove from Broken Hill to Port Augusta.
I needed one last break before we arrived out our destination and this sounded interesting and so I stopped for some history and to see the view. A tricky hide that I managed to extract safely!?!

Hi there Skippy..
We found your cache **"Beautiful Valley"** at 12:08:00 PM today. (This makes our find count 15915).
We cached between Port Augusta and Wilmington today. On our trek we found a wide variety of container types. & ended up finding 11 caches with 0 DNF's.
Thanks for placing this cache here, without geocaching as our guide we would never have found so many interesting places on our travels.
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found the cache around 2m from where the GPS said we should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are in good shape.
**Took:** Nothing.
**Left:** A Smiley Badge.
Thanks for the hunt today,
Regards
Ian & Penny.

The GPS zero'd in on this cache next (which wasn't the original plan) , so we came down from the north .
Worked out where to go next and spotted the very interesting feature as we headed toward GZ - what's that doing there [?].
A short walk took us to a quick find . TNLNSL.

Found it. It was slopping wet so tried to dry some of it out on the top off our bonnet.
What a lovely place to be walking around caching. Lots to do with friends and family. Our GPS was giving us grief and we thought we might have made a mistake. Re checked and nope we were right, technology was messing us around. I wonder what the rocket is for? TFTC.

We don't have a very good success rate when it comes to multi's so will generally give them a miss. This one didn't seem too hard so we thought that we would give it a go. A few simple calculations, a short trip and the cache was ours
