Logs
That was good fun it was a bit wet we thought it was rubbish at first but it was good
Found it , log is semi dry but box is completely soaked!!! Unfortunately nothing to replace the box with Unfortunately
I found pieces of the original cache nearby. There is a new one placed by a previous finder, but I don't know how long it will last. TFTC!
Found it! But all that is left is the broken container. Nice location to ride out to though.
Found it. But like others previously stayed container broken contents everywhere, no log book to sign.
Container has been broken. No lid and contents strewn about. Still signed log considering recent rain. Wish we had bought a container, sorry.
Found it dry, but the lid is broken. Maybe the next person has a container. TFTC
Tftc S and S, cache was in poor condition, lid had shattered full of dirt etc, cleaned as best we could. Log very damp but we were able to sign.
Found with Beary_Unicorns while visiting the area for a quick cache grab, TFTC. Container falling apart, maintenance needed
Decided to get away from the rain around home, so headed inland. Cacheing around Singleton today with madrabbitoh. Decided to head this way to get some of the unloved/out of the way caches this side of singleton. This was a nice drive, but there Is a house just near by, so the name does not really apply anymore. I wonder if this road is a dead end, as that would be out of the way. I noted that the last entry on the log was Lee & samuel 737, not Brendon4656. Could this be checked and adjusted as necessary, as this would give me a year of unloved days, if this was correct. Thanks.
Find #1439
We had no firm plans for the day until this morning.... then saw clear skies for the first time in what seemed an eternity, so headed off to grab some caches. We took the scenic road to Singleton, via Allynbrook and Gresford. Much nicer than the expressway.... Our haul was seven caches and one trig, not bad considering the low cache density out here!
Out of the way alright! It is always nice to get some dirt under the Geoforester's tyres, makes you really feel like you are caching then.... You are definitely 'out of the way' and then find GZ in eye-shot of a house! I wonder if the house was there when the cache was placed? We dropped in some LED keyrings. TFTC SUBYDAZZ

After several weeks of rain we now have fine weather so it was time to get out of the house.
This one lives up to its title. A quick find and cache is in good condition. TNLNSL. Thanks subydaz

After a dnf on the cache before I was happy this one was a easy one . Great location felt like in the middle of no where TFTC
Traveling and in the area for a few days, hubby is participating in a hobby nearby so little miss geobub and I are grabbing caches in the vicinity. I loved the drive out this way and grabbed one other cache along this road. Found the cache easily, cache dry and in good condition, sadly I had no key rings to swap other than the ones I was using to drive with.
Thanks for the beautiful drive, what a lovely day. TFTC.

TFTC 1538# Sure is out of the way just like mine at Miranni called two schools
Well, this was out of the way, in the middle of no where, but worth the country drive. And I made it in my Mazda 3 , no 4x4 needed as long as it is dry. Did not have a key-ring to drop off so left all it tack. Saw a few horses, bicycle riders and a monitor lizard so a great drive. TFTC
must admit this is out of the way but as it seems to be the go its in view of a house. not sure why hiders do that we drive for miles into nowhere land and then we see a house and know thats where the cache will be. and as would e expected said family were out in the yard gardening I think
We found the cache in the second place we looked and signed the log. All is good here.

We own a manual D40 and they are shit for serious 4x4ing or jump ups, so we choose the soft option here. we looked at the road and made the decision no point getting stuck here.
cache was easy to find but we had to try and stay safe from the muggles in the house and the prado that cruised past . mmm at least they didn't stop to find out what we were doing

After being called into work and spending a few hours without fixing the problem, I needed to go out geocaching. As I was more than half way to Singleton and I do not normally go there I thought I would spend the afternoon there, in Singleton. I do not have the caches in my handheld this far away from home, so I was relying on the Geocaching app on the iphone to help me locate some higher terrain caches.
My third visit today was this cache. I had trouble getting reception on my phone after finding GCY759 Lake St Clair, and just headed in its general direction. After a while I got reception back and looked up coordinates for this one and GCYYA6 Pile O Frocks in case I lost it again. I put this one into the car GPSr and did not even realise I had driven past the other one (which I got on the way back out). I past one guy on a push bike and one car while on this dirt road. There was a little clearing near GZ to pull over and I made a very quick find. After signing the log I left one of the swappable on top of the container as it was a little bit too big to fit into the container. The next finder may want to put it back inside. I covered the entrance quite well.
Thanks for the nice drive and the very quick find!

Tftc!
Local but would have never considered being out here if not for the cache, worth the trip.

Another one for our collection, tried sunnyside but our little outlander did not like it....
Reperio at 1250.
Found this one on a day of caching with Big Matt in and around Singleton...and although it was out of the way, it wasn't too far out of the way as we were soon at GZ and the cache.
Gratias SUBYDAZZ.

Our 7003rd overall find.
Found on a trip to Singleton today with Marcus Vitruvius today to find our 7000th cache. It's been three years since I last had a crack at this one, today we took the 2WD option and the cache was found quickly, though not where I guessed as we left the car.
Thanks SUBYDAZZ for the cache.

Found at 3:48 PM GAFF1. Didn't mind going out of our way to find this cache - loved the drive in the bush setting. We then thought that we could cut across to Lake St. Clair, but the track was in a bit of a mess and we didn't want to take the risk with the huge excess on the hire car.
Thanks SUBYDAZZ.
Thanks SUBYDAZZ.
Had to walk a bit to this one as the commodore took a few bumps so we didn't want to risk anymore.
Nice quick find as this one was out of it's cave. Signed log and put it back home. TFTC.
This was a nice drive and geokid1 loved finding it, left Bob the Builder keyring.
After finding the Lake I thought I'd have a crack at this one, I headed along Sunnyside Lane got to the fun bit and the GPS went flat. Not sure where the cache would be and no fresh batteries this will have to wait till next time...
We had a nice drive along the dirt road to this cache. The weather was starting to close in and we could see the rain coming so we jumped out of the car to quickly look for the cache. A great natural hiding place! We left a Cache Scouts key ring that we had picked up some time ago in Newcastle and took the NuJerico's TB and signed log and got back into the car without getting wet. TFTC
#17 Found cache and left a Singleton keyring and bottle opener also an Auckland Warriors 1995 keyring. Took Repco keyring. Nice country out that way. TFTC
The fifth of seven for the day. Got in trouble going too fast at one of those causeways .. they need warning signs.
Dropped off NuJerico TB .. all the way from Adelaide .. let's hope it is incentive for cachers to come through this area. TFTC
ps didn't see keyring TB

Well what can be said about this one - when there are two women in Henry the Hilux in the bush on a seriously silly geoing adventure and the opportunity for a 4WD comes up what do you think is gonna happen? There was much fun to be had on the 4WD track - would be even more fun after some rain.
This cache was awesome, or at least getting there was the bestest part. We came up to this one after a quick trip to the Lake where the geohounds had a nice leisurely swim and the quickest route was the way we went.
Found cache sitting out in the open, so we returned it to it's little hidey hole - picked up TB too.

Not exactly sure on the date for this log, but did drop an appropriately themed TB in the cache when doing a cache check in early June
"L" plater was a bit reluctant to delve deeply but was finally persuaded to do so and came up with the goods. TN. Left a penny keyring thing. After finding the cache, we drove to the end of the road on a beautiful day.
The Tom Tom decided to lead me in via Sunnyside Land from Lake St Clair. The road was posted as No Through Road, however 4WDers just see that as a challenge. Well let's just say I was glad I had low range and a bit of clearance. Only scraped once in the slightly lifted Suzuki. I would not recommend this way in for a family sedan! Grabbed a magnetic game that didn't fit the theme and left a Repco key ring. Thanks Subydazz and Sarah.
First cache find for us with the whole family. Took a bit but come up with the results. After this find we now have an idea of hidy holes in the bush. Took TB and left Polarity gift.
Thanx SUBBY for a great opener as a Fam.

Well this took me a while.
I was out here without a map and managed to find a road heading in the right direction which i followed, it soon became very rough with me spending the last 4KM's in low range 4WD, all the time thinking Terrain 2.5 stars [?]?.
Anyway after a lot of slow moving the track came out on a road which lead me right to the cache.
This was the road i should have followed in the first place.
Well nothing like doing things the hard way.
Thanks
Took Quitta TB. Left Jim Beam keyring.

Another lovely drive in the countryside. I missed this when I was out there the other day so ventured back for another find at 1630hrs. I found the parents of sam geocoin in this cache as opposed to the Kounting Kangas where it's listed. I'll fix it up and move him along.
Took - Chevy TB & Parents of Sam Geocoin.
Next trip down I'll return with a couple of keyrings.

The little fella was excited to find this one himself, the Garmin led him straight to it. Took a soft toy lamb KR and GWH Group KR left Pat Gleeson Auto and Ironman 4X4 Suspennsion KR's. Also left a Geocion found at Kounting Kangas.
Well this is only just up the road from Pile O' Frocks, so no suprises that I grabbed this one too. Also grabbed Deputy Dawg TB out of a very crowded cache (a bit more space in there now, but still pretty tight). Think I might have come across him before actually.
The etrex had me on the wrong side of the road to start with, but once I checked the accuracy reading I decided to look further afield and pretty quickly found the hide. It was exactly what I was expecting after checking the clue on the way there.
Thanks for the hunt.

Quick cache check to see if dry after recent rains. All is OK. Dropped off two more TBs. Quitta (version 2 - reincarnated) and Deputy Dawg.
Only a little out of the way, but a great drive along Sunnyside lane from the last two caches. Some of the wheel ruts and wash outs are quite deep, but a standard 4WD shouldnt have too many problems with the right wheel placement, and plenty of chicken tracks.(used a few myself)
Will have to come back out this way one day and see were these other 'No through Roads' go.
TFTC
took the All Bells TB
