Cache still there (as is the other agentjet cache in the dunes) though there was a little moisture inside the container. Logbook bag 100% dry. TFTC - love finding these archived ones!!
2nd archived cache for today. Happy to report it is still there hiding it the proper place.
Excellent reception with Garmin60Cx but no sign of cache in the tall ferns. Having read the clue will go back for another look.
Found at 9-05pm. A very pleasant walk on a warm evening. Walked past it for starters but finally got the position correct. +Heart pin. -Wooden cook. SL. TFTC>
The GPS reception is certainly unstable here! Not sure it's the bush to blame either. I've had stable reception in denser bush. The close proximity to an airport could be a contributing factor. I've often experienced an unstable signal near airports due, I guess, to the navigation equipment. I imagine aviation GPS is much more sophisticated than our hand-helds and isn't affected the same (I hope!!!) We were going to give up on this but as we headed back towards the car I spotted a little patch beside the track that seemed to have been walked on recently and there it was! Actually quite visible from the track.
Searched afor 20 minutes at a spot 10 meters further down the track in a spot that sort of matched the hint, the search was about to be abandoned when the object referred to in the hint was spotted and then the cache found in 10 seconds. Really enjoyed a quick run along the tracks. TNLN.
not too many people around today...maybe due to the date! easy find. lovely spot

Nice spot. No problem finding the cache. Came back early next morning with Mrs Nofs and completed the loop walk. Thanks.
Found this on Christmas Day. One of us read the wrong clue which actually made sense for this cache but of course just about sent us nuts trying to find it! Our head geocaching labrador enjoyed the extra long hunt though.
- St John's patch

Was there at 14.00 hrs in heavy rain. Searched 40 mtrs before and beyond the stump at BOTH sides of track-no joy.
May be next time better.
Thanks anyway,

Cheers Pipedream.
Went out early to tackle this one, found it just before the weather turned to custard.
I highly recommend using the clue as my GPS was all over the place untill the cache site, but its accuracy was still 16 metres. Another great cache by agentjet in aplace I have driven past many times and never stopped.
Also a bonus of the FTF!

I'm sure I've found this one. I don't know how I forgot to log it until now (8/2/07). Cheers, Donovan.
