Late afternoon: not many smoking muggles near here but still plenty in the area on this Sunday arvo. Looked and looked and looked but came away almost empty handed, found a small magnet but no cache. Perhaps I will wait for more finds and see what's gives here.
Took a few passes. Spent a lunch at the pub across the street waiting for 2 ladies to finish their smoke breaks. They were out there for 40 minutes! Came back the next day, and found with a bit of searching. TFTC!
I gave up on this and was walking towards the town hall cache when I thought I should go back and have one final go... lucky I did because it was quickly in my hand.
Found with medicalmarcus early in the morning. It seemed that even at 7am security guards were having smoking breaks so we had to wait for a gap in the 'traffic' before making the grab. Then there was another waiting period before we were able to replace it.
Thanks, Jezzza Xtreme.

Found this cache on our one-day sightseeing tour through Sydney. Great place, great cache!

This one was tough. Muggles everywhere and the smoke was awful. Hopefully it got back to it's original placement because there was a lot of debris around. TFTC SL

Found it on the second try (the first time I had to wait for the smokers to leave)
Found this one after a great day of caching in Sydney - another cool city cache!
Thanks for the cache mandaj

Found after dark tonight - my first Sydney cache! (I hope there will be many more!). Good hide - I think it was just luck that I spotted the container, as I had forgotten my torch. Greetings from Queensland! TFTC
Hi All,
The cache container has changed - it is still magnetic (but not indestructible. Look for something black and the size and shape of a lipstick)
I have also modified the location slightly ie about 5ish paces to the east of the smokers corner.
STEALTH IS STILL ESSENTIAL WHEN YOU ARE TYING YOUR SHOES!!
Game on.

Hi All,
I did a cache check today - and it does appear to be muggled.
So I will put a new cache in place in by the end of the week.
Apologies for any inconvenience folks.

Where the Hell is it. I Searched for about half an hour with Fontaynes and still could not find it.
[This was a fun cache to find. I see MWS&DB writen everywhere now.]
This magnetic cache is stuck to metal disquised as wood.

Came looking for this one with Team PEZ from the USA and was unable to find it with 4 pairs of eyes.
Might need to be checked as this is the third DNF.
Might need to be checked as this is the third DNF.
Tried with Deputy Dog & RuffasGutts4X4. There were 5 sets of eyes looking for this one and we came up empty. We had the height range covered from 1.2M to over 2M and still couldn't locate it. We called back at the end of the day for a another quick look by 2 of the team but again came up empty. Hopefully it is really well hidden and we have just missed it but I suspect that it is missing
This cache will now take over where coathanger left off, officially Ruffasgutts nemesis at least for the time being, we came here on two seperate occasions today after obtaining help from reliable sources but had no success. Last time we tried it had been muggled but this time I'm not so sure, just a well hidden cache I reckon, Oh well next time.
Yay! Finally! Got it after dark on 3rd attempt. Note to self: do not attempt cache whilst carrying bags of shopping.
Some good clues in the description to help us to the find, enjoyed the MWSDB. Thanks.
I had to wait until the people with their dirty habit moved away before I could make my move and grab the cache.

Surprisingly few joggers out yesterday so made the grab without being noticed. However, we took part of the description a bit to literally so spent more time looking than we should have. Found when my husband reached out his hand for me and turned his head and there it was. TFTC.
WOW, after loosing connection, we had to use the hint.
So we waited for two muggels to leave before we finally could log our visit.

Daylight (and a hint) got this one finally completed. Can't believe that we didn't see it last time! The smell at GZ was almost as bad as the smell from the "S" in the original acronym. You probably can't still do this in the security conscious times we now live in, but many years ago, Mr Ozjeeper and some workmates used to occasionally just walk in from the street to have lunch in the MSWDB staff dining room -thanks for the memories.
Not often in city for work. Needed some fresh air. Didn't find fresh air, found the smokers and eventually could get the cache.
Do not attempt this cache at around 11 am (smoko time). There was a constant stream of chatting smokers hogging the
area. We waited for about 20 minutes but they just kept coming! Will attempt at a quieter time someday.

Tried this on Anzac Day and couldn't even get close. Tried again in the early evening today but couldn't find the MWS&DB.
On the way home from a Thai meal without our GPS, we remembered the clue and saw the structure. Signed the log. Thanks for the cache.
After finishing a few pints at Scruffy Murphy's playing Two-Up on Anzac Day, I told the misses I think there's a geocache near here. We were actually about 5m from it! Muggle activity was low as it was dark and plenty of drunken sailors to distract others. TFTC.
Thanks for replacing the cache mangaj. Nice spot though, pity about the damn muggles. And stinky smoking muggles at that. Found @ 1630, with aid from Mrs Pensive was able to retrieve, log and replace without issue.
After a few DNFs and an e-mail for a hint I finally went and checked it - yep it had been muggled - lucky for you all - I had a replacement sorted and put it in place.
GAME ON!
Apologies for those who had missed it in recent DNFs but now you get another chance. But given the muggle factor is known to be high this may be a limited time offer...

couldnt find this one, 3rd strike for the night, gave this one a fair going over. May not be there, or may just be over tired from the day,
Seven sets of eyes & seven sets of hands checked all the obvious hiding places and then a phone a friend was made still we did not manage to retrieve this one, it certainly is not where it used to be, possibly still there but more likely muggled.
My 1st of 3 DNF during our 4 day trip to Sydney and return.
Ended up walking past here 3 times during our stay, all to no avail. Think I looked everywhere, but just could not see it. Have placed on my watch list to see when someone does find it.
Thanks anyway.
Cheers,

was unable to get a good look at this cache and simply ran out of time ... so many smokers ... just ran short of time ... i would love to have found this little gem but unless i get time for a midnight dash past it i am afraid it will go by till next visit.

We are guessing you need to be an Aussie to understand the anagram. Found the cache easy enough though. TFTC.
wow, people love to hide magnetic key box's in town don't they?? this is my 3rd cache in town, and thats right, 3rd key box. it was fun all the same. tftc
Nice easy find, although to retrieve it I had to remove several items from my wrist!
Not too many muggles around either, so getting it back was easy too.

Dodging the smokers was the fun part for this one....
Eventually there was a small gap in the gaspers and retrieved and signed - another five minutes or so and then back it went. Hope this one stays safe...

#1070 Poor GPS coverage so used hint. Plenty of muggles but they were all rushing past minding their own business. DS8300
Found at 1750. With muggles everywhere, it was very hard to search without attracting suspicion. After a while of looking for 30 secs, walking off, searching for 30 secs etc, my wife came up with the hide.

We had no GPS signal here, so we did not know were to look. Also the hint did not help us out. As we had other things to do, we did not really stop and search.
Even on Christmas Day there were still muggles everywhere. Just probably less of them than usual. Had to look around a few times before I spotted the clever hide. Quick grab, back to the car to sign it, then wait for another gap to replace. Thanks mandaj.
Only a note as we were unable to really look for this one.
Had to take the Geokiddie and her Aunt to the Observatory and had to fill in a couple of hours in the city. So thought we would look for a few caches, but only found one.
Friday night just before Christmas is not the best time to be stealthy in the city. There were just too many muggles and the bouncer across the road was paying a bit too much attention to us. So we aborted after about 10 minutes.
We will hopefully be back soon.

totally muggle infested but managed today to get to it. Yesterday there were two woman at GZ smoking and chatting and after 20 minutes of waiting I gave up...

I had to tap into my stealth reserves to flush this cache out of it's hidey hole amid the flood of muggles today
But per-cistern-ce payed and I soon had the cache in hand. The cache was easily retrieved once spotted and I didn't have to faucet to open it
Tanks for the cache [^]

Our Second day while here on holiday from New Zealand and really enjoying finding our way around by caching. It is a definately underated as a must for when on holiday! We saw so many places we wouldnt normally have looked at and walked for kilometeres every day. We managed 21 finds and 6 DNFs while here for 5 days as well as managing to do all the touristy things like Paddys Market, the Museums and even the tour to the Blue Mountains. Thank you Sydney cache setters we really appreciate you. We are now just getting into the 'micro' cache hides so finding these caches is great fun and i am getting very good at the 'walk, swoop and grab and go' technique then the reverse on return after logging LOL. TNLNSLTFTC.
Hint essential came with a high 20 cent bum count best part of the cache for me was the discovery of sushi train a stones throw away. My first sushi bar experience great fun and wasabee tastic!

This was a very warm welcome after a couple of DNF's in this area. Hint certainly helped! TFTC. Our last day of caching in Sydney...eatmorchickin & Stigglepot from Brisbane.
Secind of 2 while on rainy night while waiting for our poker cruise ship. We really like these hide in plain sight caches.

Found this one after dinner at 20:50 with Alsume and BS along for the ride. Alsume left me to my devices, but a quick glance over the shoulder while Geko was stabilsing gave me all the info I needed . A clever hide.

After almost giving up and coming back for one more pass, there it was, tenacious little thing.
One of us forgot to look at the additional hint and the search area was far too extensive. Many moths were unnecessarily disturbed. We returned later with the hint and located the cache quickly. Thanks mandaj
Found without GPS - 60m accuracy isn't really enough to go on. Initally looked in slightly the wrong location which my nose did not appreciate. TFTC
Went caching with the boss at lunchtime. A great hide and he is now hooked on this wonderful pastime. TFTC
what a sneaky little spot! would have been a much easier retreval if there weren't so many bogon moths crawling over the container. log book has dried out. TFTC!!
The first of 5 city micros on a quick visit to the CBD. Nice and quiet and an easy find without GPS. TFTC
After meeting clients <100m from the cache, why not give it a go... with no GPS signal, disorganised cache notes and muggles everywhere, no luck.
After a callback with a hint from Mandaj, I returned after a few more caches and this time looked a little harder where I think the muggles had deterred me earlier. This time cache in hand.
TFTC. Catch you soon AJ.

Straightforward to find, and just enough off the beaten path to grab easily. (of course, I used the on-my-cellphone stall tactic to gain purpose. Grabbed and signed. Thanks.
No muggle problem at half past ten on a wet Friday evening.
Thanks!
Nick, from France.
PS: The log will need replacing soon (damp).
