Hi
This cache appears to have some problems. It is the cache owner's responsibility to read the logs and check the cache to sort out any problems with it and give an indication of when it may be up and running again for people to find.
**The cache is being Disabled to give the Cache Owner an opportunity to investigate and fix the apparent issues.**
Once the cache is operational again, the CO should write an *Owner Maintenance* log advising that the promlems have been fixed, and to remove the *Needs maintenance* attribute (red cross) if that is showing on the cache page. The CO can then write an Enable log to return the cache to play.
If the cache cannot be fixed it should be archived.
**If there is no response to this log after 30 days the cache will be Archived.**

The [Geocache Maintenance guideline](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#cachemaintenance) explains a CO's responsibility towards checking and maintaining the cache when problems are reported.

With 3 consecutive DNF's since last October and an unactioned Needs Maintenance in March 2019, gives us the feeling this one is unloved and has been abandoned. Perhaps it's time for it to go!

Cache not in residence.

Although a great location to visit with lots of things to look at, no cache found despite following hint.

DNF today. Took into consideration the info. about a brand new cache in a brand new location, but no date was listed for this change. And maybe if it is a new location the co-ordinates have not been adjusted accordingly.

25-Oct-18
Searched in the likely spot and surrounds with no luck

Tassie Trip day 10 - today we traveled to Don to collect a few caches that were better accessed by the use of two wheels. We returned to the Don River Railway location a spot previously viseded and off loaded the bike and away rode the GeoVyclist on to the track and along to find those caches.

At last a bush cache of a size and location worthy of its location. I have been agast and the number of micro and small caches in such location it was refresshing to see a container of a size that could hold more than just a log book.

Thanks thatguy007 for placing this cache container for us to make an easy find.

Hi there thatguy007.

We found your cache **"Don Steamers"** at 11:28:00 AM today. (This makes our grand total 18956).

We are camped in Ulverstone for a couple of nights, and headed to Don to find some caches We thoroughly enjoyed our stroll around the area and ended up finding a variety of container types, and sizes on our journey. Our find count for today was 6 caches, with 1 DNF's. SmileBig Grin

Thanks for placing the cache here. Without geocaching as our guide we would never have found so many interesting places on our travels. Thanks also for not placing an eclipse tin or a 200ml Sistema here. It made us feel really good to find this "special" cache here.

**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found this cache around 10m from where the GPS said we should be looking. Wink
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are in good shape.
**Took:** We took some rubbish out of the cache. 8.
**Left:** A Smiley Badge.

Thanks for the hunt today,

Regards

Ian & Penny.

We parked at the Don Recreation Centre on top of the hill, plowed down through the bush to find a train graveyard, found the cache, and then spent some time exploring the remains. I never would have known this stuff was here if not for this cache. After exploring we found an actual walking track to get back up to the top. TFTC.

Back home after being in Tassie for a holiday, now the daunting task of logging all our finds, sorting through the scraps of paper with notes on them.
Had a few days of sunshine, a lot of days of rain, ended up with just over 105 finds all up on this trip, and visited many tourist spots in the north of Tassie.

found this cache in good order
no muggles about. Quick find.

thanks to thatguy007 for this cache

We were doing the excellent bike ride from East Devonport to Don Heads and back. Took the short detour down to the railway graveyard and a quick cache find. Certainly is a lot of old railway equipment quietly rusting away here.

Quick easy find on a nice cool day for caching TFTC Smile

We're now two thirds through our six month stay (til the end of March '16) from the Kurrajong area, (Blue Mountains) NW of Sydney, to tour in the caravan and also visit our kids and grandkids in the Huon Valley Smile On four previous visits before this visit, we were muggles, so we're having fun finding the caches we didn't even know were here! Smile

02-Jan-16
Felt like we shouldn't have been there but there were no signs or fences so fair game! Also got a little confused at gz as it wasn't where we thought it was going to be, but the hint cleared that up in no time!
Contents felt slightly damp - someone may have left the lid ajar or might need a bag for the contents. TFTC!

13-Dec-15
Found it lot of blue panels

05-Dec-15
We certainly went about this the wrong way, finding out after we had navigated to the cache, that there was a much easier route to it. We are still not sure if this cache is on private property. However find it we did, signed the log, and can report there were no trackables in there.
