TFTC smile19726 Day 9 out and about on a Sunny day on my way to Wollongong in a round about way picking up LGAs on the way signed as GS1947 on small logs A oldie for a oldie Thank you Scenic routers for placing this cache for our enjoyment
Tftc scenic routers, bit misty still so couldn't enjoy the distant view, looks good like this too
We initially approached cache via the river crossing, but decided to heed the CO’s advice and seek an alternate route. So glad we did, spectacular views! Caches last confirmed find was in 2016 and despite a thorough search it did appear to be mia. We’ve placed a replacements cache, log & baggy to keep this hide in play. This spot is deserved a cache. Have contacted CO with details.
for those that only use a phone or gps, and no mapping , a little heads up, going across the river is the hard way to the cache, please look further afield
for the main access road, cheers

Found very late in the afternoon in fading light on the way to Bathurst after working at Jenolan. Great view of the commuters lights down along Oberon Road. Left a TB (hang-over bug) and then headed down the hill but decided against fording the Fish River in the dark (not knowing the crossing). Rather be late for that first beer in town rather stuck in the soup. Many thanks Scenic Routers, a favourite point from me
Out and about with whitemushroom, high point indeed, what a view, great location.
Thanks for the cache.
Thanks for the cache.
This cache is certainly located at a high point with really great views. It was an easy find and after we had signed the log the cache was replaced where it had been found. Thank you for showing us this area and thank you for placing this cache for us as well as other cachers to find.
Visiting the wife's god parents for a 50th who luckily live on this road. Took geofatherinlaw for his first find tyftc
thought I could get there from O'connell road, cause I was 2 km from gz, but learnt there was a back road needed to get on from Lagoon road, which made it get further and further away from gz, quick find when at gz, red bottle container was lying in sight of muggles, I thought it was just trash, now out of sight of muggles.
A day for a hunt along the Historic Cox's Road, and a cool, but fine winter's day to be out and about. A slight detour and absolutely worth the drive for the magnificent vista across green paddocks. Loved it, and stopped for lunch soaking in the sunshine and the view. TFTC
Quick find by me while geowife did a ubolt. Rolled up my trouser leg to see if she'd stop to pick me up.

Found it easily, as with others.
I'd always wanted to take this route, and now understand why it is infrequently used:
We tried to exit to the north, and found 'the Fish' blocking our path.. so back the way we came.

Out caching in spring weather - what a delight! Thanks for bringing us to see the views and for the cache.
A quick drive by while enjoying the views as we head towards another nearby cache. tftc
Caching with Jenmen through this the area, and cache was on his list as a "must do". Off the beaten track , sort of, surrounded by nice properties and stock, and in an area I hadn't been before.
An easy find.
Pitty the outlook was very grey today.

Found by Mary & David at 1650. The guardian huntsman is still in residence, but he took a break while we checked out the cache. Wonderful views in every direction. Our thanks again to Scenic routers for guiding us here.
Found this cache ok while out riding my motorbike. Cache was being guarded by a rather large Huntsman spider which put the wind up me when i picked the cache up!! TFTC
What a fluke. Stopped the bike right in front of it. The cache has a pencil in it, thanks whoever.

We did not fancy taking the rental through _that_ ford, so had to drive the long way around. A quick find once we were able to get to GZ. Cheers Gav [4336]
Hard to know why I havent been here before as I had covered all the ones around it. In the end it was a good thing as I try to keep my run going before the NZ trip this weekend. Having to drive further everyday.
Snuck away for a cigarette break from work at lunchtime. Forgot to tell them I was going to have my gasper on top of the High Point with great views on a sunny and windy day.
Hope they didnt miss me

we had to backtrack on this one when we realised the river crossing is the quickest way.. as all the most of other teams did have the right vehicle I guess they skipped this one.. found with Abida and mr_roo

found this one while at work on one of many of our spectacular roads with a view thanks for this one.

Great water crossing on the way in. We had to give this one a miss last time, as the standard sedan was not suitable for the water depth.
Easy find in the dark.
Thanks Scenic Routers.

Hmmm, last time we were here, the water was not quite this high, must learn to slow down next time I cross, which I did.
An easy find with some nice nocturnal views!
Cheers

I enjoyed the water crossing on the way to GZ but the driver was quite surprised by the extra depth this time round, Thanks for bringing us here.
Returning to the car from the cache we noticed we had a trout sticking out of the grill, very strange. Must have picked it up during the river crossing.
Found this one while competing in the Bathurst 24 Hour Event. Found at 00:14. A nice quick find.

We have been waiting for the creek to go down for a little while now and then we had to have the time to go get it when we weren't in the good car. So, long awaited but a fairly easy find. Nice view. Thanks Scenic Routers.
Just didn't have the guts to put the 2wd through the raging creek (well it was deeper than the doorframe)
A great rural scene was spread out for my enjoyment on a sunny day

'OK' so after viewing the view with a nice Lapsan Suchong tea we found the cache and set off home.

Located after a little wander around the back roads. Another spot with relaxing pastoral views.
This was our 3rd for the day. This is a nice spot offering a lovely panorama of the surrounding area. Thanks Scenic Routers for showing us this spot.

Would have been a nice and easy cache if we were on the right side of the road. We must be out of practice or something. But hey, we got it in the end. Good view of town. We didn't know this place was here. Thanks Routers. TNLN.
Got this on the long way to a nearby cache (well it makes sense to me)! Nice quick find was welcome as it was cold, windy and spitting rain. TNLN SL
Mr Furter was a little late home so we thought we may have missed out on this one to AAA but luck was on our side. Thanks S.R. we were just discussing the other day that you'd gone a little quiet on the hides of late, but I guess you've got most of Bathurst pretty well covered. Thanks again, great veiws of Bathurst at night and the eerie red sky from the smoke added to the view.
