Out for a long stroll before it gets too crazy hot. And trying to find a few geocaches along the way.I sold the puzzle with a little help from the owner. And was able to find container fairly easily.TFTC.

17-Feb-24
Is there still a clue about how to solve this puzzle at the listed coordinates? Because its basically in or near the middle of a major road. And I cant see anything in 360 around me that would help me solve the puzzle.

17-Feb-24
From 2023 street view the clue is still there but you need to move South a bit as it may be blocked by trees from the posted coords. However the puzzle image looks like it may have an issue regarding the letters?

17-Feb-24
Well the puzzle solve is obvious from the details in the puzzle.. however the hint is just an additional confirmation of the solve method. You need to look at what business is there. GE I don't think will tell you, but street view will...There is nothing wrong with the puzzle, the solve method has not changed, nor have the symbols...If need a hand I'm happy to receive a msg to clarify anything.Cheers

One of four puzzle caches found today in the hope of qualifying for challenge cache GC5MTHY which I signed in January this year.

An oldie, and a nice variation on the sudoku theme here, and a quick find at GZ after I cheated and used my eyes. Thanks for the puzzle and the cache Hurtle.

02-May-21
This morning I ducked out to do a few caches around the Gilles Plains area that I was yet to find before traffic and the human life woke up.

I have been to GZ before here but had no luck in finding the cache, today walked straight up to it and found the cache nicely hidden. Cache and contents are all good

Geocaching has taken a back seat for a short while, other things have taken priority. Still feeling pretty tired, I headed out today for some finds, based on strategy and achievements. I started at Grange, then went to outer harbour, Gepps Cross, Gilles Plains, Valley View then onto the main targets of the day at Castambul. A full day, with lots of walking and climbing hills, but satisfaction from the finds that were made.

I had solved this one a month or two ago, and was in the vicinity today to have a look. I did not find it in the first place I looked, but I did find it. Desc is accurate, I just got caught up on how many different ones there was.

Thanks for the cache Hurtle. Nice work here. Cache in good condition.

21-Dec-20
This was another in the *Weekly Adelaide Su doku* series that I had solved several years ago. At the time, there may have been a checker, but the link no longer worked, and since then, I guess the checker has been removed, so I had to rely on my abilities to have produced the right coordinates.

This afternoon after work, I decided to head north-east, spending time in Gilles Plains and Modbury. With limited time left in Adelaide, I tried to concentrate on the higher D-T geocaches, but otherwise making stops at any other caches along the way. As my outing approached dinner time, I decided to then return home.

Whilst in the area, I decided to make a stop here, and subsequently I made a quick find of the cache with thanks to the hint. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks Hurtle for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

After the nearby Vegan event where no one ate Vegan I decided to spend the rest of the day collecting caches in the Northern suburbs. Found 20 or so and managed to avenge some prior dnf which was great. Managed to get sun burn on my neck what a change in the weather to yesterday.
Have looked for this one twice and dnf both times today I put my hand on it in the first place I checked. Go figure good to avenge this one. TFTC hurtle

I had solved this some time ago but hadn't been out this way much since then. This morning I was in the area so stopped to look. Thanks to the handy hint the cache was soon located in the suggested manner and I was on my way again. TFTC

21-Jun-19
Stopped by today, cache is where it should be...
The structure is no longer the same colour as the original cache was! Faded severely!
Checked the co-ords and even after 5 mins of averaging, the best I could get is within 6m, so use the hint and be stealthy.
Have fun...

Cache #2069.

This afternoon, I need to go to Oakden for business. Why not find some caches on the way? Tried three puzzle caches, and found all of them.

The puzzle has been solved by J many many years ago. We had a try back on that time, but unsuccessful. Today, I noticed the gate was open. Cache has been found in the first place I checked.

I was worried about if the cache is still there, since no one found it for the past 7 months. In fact, cache was still there, and a bit obvious. After signing the log, I placed the cache a little further, to make it less obvious for muggles. As for cachers, it should be easy to find.

Thanks for the puzzle and the cache, Hurtle.

Another Tuesday Caching capers for the puzzled puzzler's group. Today's crew of myself, Mrs. SA Sewer Rats and Doctor Owl headed out expecting Blackadders to joins us. Cool Alas he was a late scratching as his worshipfulness was required elsewhere. [8)] Over the last few weeks, well months we had been searching out unloved caches hundreds of kilometers and it was time we spent a day around town getting the latest BFE's and solved puzzles. Cool Of course there would be others to collect whilst we were passing. [8)]

It had been five months since I was last here for a DNF but I had seen that the cache had been replaced since then. [^] So I called in and made a very quick find this time. Smile

**Thanks Hurtle for this cache. ** Big Grin

28-Apr-18
Sudoku's are one of those things that I can have a spurt of interest in every now and again. So it was good to have an incentive to solve a few - nothing like coords to a cache as a prize.

I saw that Brad&Janet had replaced this one, so I headed to GZ on my way to a couple of BFE solves. Almost dislocated my shoulder with my initial searches for the cache, but finally discovered an easier way of working out where it was. Retrieved, signed and replaced between muggle action nearby.

Thanks TeamHurtle

22-Mar-18
This was one I had solved some time ago along with the rest of the series. As they are widely spaced finding each one has been a matter of opporrunity.
Today I was near this one but no luck searching. Despite a very good location hint. I rang the CO but no answer. Oh well.
However as I was in the car about to leave the CO rang back. I explained where I had checked and he agreed that was the correct location. After a little discussion I asked if he would like me to replace it as I had a spare container of the requisite type. The CO was happy with that and so now the cache is good to go again
TFTC yet again hurtle Smile

20-Feb-18
Another Tuesday Trekking day out with Mrs. S.A. Sewer Rats. Cool Today's target was to go and find some Multi caches and more puzzles but of course any others that were in the vicinity of those target caches. [8)]
Have had the puzzle solved (like all the others) for such a long time and just waiting for a time when I would be just passing. Wink Today was that day and I had a previous finder with me so should be an easy find. Razz So first visual sweep front and back, nada. Didn't have to PAF for help so I just asked. Around thereabouts. Where the fences meet as per the CO's maintenance log. [^] So had a good feel thereabouts but got nothing. Twisted Have to have another go when passing this way again although it has been a year now since a find. [:X]

**Thanks Hurtle for the search anyway. ** Razz

26-Feb-17
Solved the puzzle last week and placed this one in my TBF list (Albeit short, coz once solved, i like to go grab them asap). Today was the day to go grabski. Sun 26 Feb 2017. I made my way to a Muggle-Free GZ and made a swift find. Soon after I found the booty and was signing the log a cyclist arrived and played on her phone for a bit about 15m away from me [:(!]. I thought she was a Cacher, false alarm... [v] Cachers are usually friendly and she would have most likely said: "Are you a Cacher?" and the talk would have started, but unfortunately she was, one of "Them" ha ha Big Grin Log signed at 11:10. Placed the cache back whilst she had her head buried in her phone and looking the other way Big Grin The cache and it's contents are all good and dry [^] TFTC Hurtle Smile

Veni. Vidi. Vici. Scripsi.
Since commencing caching I had opened this one a few times, looked at it, tried something and closed it again. Recently though I opened it up and the solution jumped out at me and soon had coordinates. Plotted and looked good and into the TBF queue till the right moment.
Had tried to make the find several times, but every time I was muggled out of it. Tonight I was in the area and still had cache for the day to find and stopped by. Very few muggles this time and after a short search made the find. Signed log and replaced. Finally this one is off the list.

We've actually DNF'd this cache back in 2006, but obviously forgot to log it. Not to worry, after a ten year break we've returned for a second look, and found it!

The Weekly Adelaide Su doku series may have been hidden on a weekly basis, but we seem to find them on average at the rate of one every two years. You just can't rush through a good cache series. That's our motto.

Thanks Hurtle.

Happened to be going past GZ this morning, so stopped by local store to get a shiney new, and appropriately coloured, cache container.
Eventually found the cache, without going in the garden or gates, about 3m from where it should be.
Checked the coordinates, only to find they are out by 8m. Not bad for nearly 10 year old coordinates from an old Yellow Etrex. So go a little south to where the fences meet.
Happy caching

18-Jul-16
No lid and no plastic bag to keep the log book from getting wet.

18-Jul-16
Checked with previous finder as to the state of the cache.
Whilst it seems to need a replacement container, the logbook is dry in its's hide, despite rhe deluges we have experienced in last few weeks.
I will endeavour to replace the cache with a shiny new one in coming weeks.
Thanks for your input, and if future finders can stay out of the garden and **not** enter either of the properties to retrieve, it is not necessary and would be greatly appreciated.

I solved this puzzle over 5years ago and today as a group assault located the cache.

jacknor needed to drop some furniture off to lovecub9 last night and drafted me for extra muscles, I asked rod81w ( even more extra muscles ) if he wanted to come and the deal was struck that he would if this cache was found since he solved this puzzle. Turns out jacknors geomoblie lacks torches so cache was found under the light of phones.

We enjoyed this variation on the traditional Sudoku format and a solution was soon in hand. Today we went to look for the cache. It took a little while to locate but when it was in hand, our GPS indicated that we were almost 10m from GZ. We wondered if cache crepe could have occurred. The cache and contents were in good condition. We returned the cache to where it was found. Thanks Hurtle for the puzzle and hide.

I had first looked at this cache ages ago not long after starting to cache and had no idea on how to solve it but it seems knowledge can be gained as my find tonight shows! Cool
Finally I got to return to this area and claim a smiley here... having started to 'see' clearly Wink

After three days of celebrating Semik's birthday at the "Gonna Soak up the Sun event" it was time to head north traveling with alansee and try our luck with some Adelaide caches. Every time we come to Adelaide our Sudoku skills get better, at least they are not as hard as they could be. Having sorted out most of this series before leaving it was time to try and find some, especially since we had caught up with the cache owner at Semik's party. Looks like luck was on our side as this one took less time to find than solving the puzzle did.
Many thanks TeamHurtle

Hurtle, about that Sudoku Owl said couldn’t be solved. 29-Feb-12
Coincidence had I that I met the creator of this series at the Pub event in the city today, about 10 hours after finding this cache.

This was my third trip to GZ. Twice before the access to the area was 'closed off' after dark, so today I decided to visit at the busiest time of the day for this location, 8 am. Funny enough with that much traffic about nobody takes any interest in the guy on the mobile taking shelter from the rain and a quicker than expected retrieval was made.

So another weekly Sudoku bites the dust, but the next one will be a bit harder either because of the terrain rating or the remoteness of the cache.

Tftc TeamHurtle and nice meeting you today

Fourth caching session of the day! [?] On the way home from a late evening class, I finally got a chance to pick this one up after soving the puzzle months ago, and even dropping by once or twice only to be muggled out severely by "locals".
In the end it was easily found, but that might have been a bit of experience since the first attempt.
Still some room on the temporary log sheet, even after my wonky signature by streetlight.
