Parked in the Molonglo Reach carpark near the boat sheds and made my way to GZ.
This bridge is such a great place for a cache! There are great views of the Molonglo River below, and it is also the first bridge to cross the start of the river, so quite special!
The cache was found per the hint, the tin is rusty but other than that this cache is in perfect condition for it's age So I signed the log before exploring a little further on foot and returning to my car.
Thanks Tealby!

#1904 3 or 3 today. Found with goutigers on a bike ride to wear off some chocolate.

Found this one about a month ago and must have forgotten to log it. Was looking at the wrong side of the bridge for quite some time.
TFTC! wasnt sure if should go the top bridge or the bottom but worked it out in the end.
Was looking for a reasonably quick find after work, and this one was not far out of the way:-). Walked over from the kayaking (not rowing) shed with geohound and Geoman. Quick find once we figured out the right level!
Despite my pen working only a few minutes beforehand, it gave up the ghost when I was trying to inscribe my name in the log. Managed to coax a few microns of graphite out of the pencil to make a mark
Thanks Tealby for the cache - now to scope another cache out before my early morning dash to Sydney!

# 1468 I planned to catch this cache on the way to work but by the time I reached here, I was running short on time.
This afternoon, I did the u-turn at the round about, nearly cleaned up by a chick who didn't bother checking over her right sholder. Parked at the rowing club sheds and walked to GZ to make a quick find. Traffic was busy, so I had to attend to that pesky shoelace that always comes undone (I have elastic laces that never come undone).

A sneaky hide. Jr Cachehunter #2 spotted it after we'd had a cursory look.
It was pretty quiet on the bike path while we made the find, but got busy again shortly thereafter. Lucky that.

After a great day caching near the airport, my grandad and I found a couple of caches before going home. This was the last one for the day. We parked nearby and made the shortish walk to the cache. After a fair amount of time searching and dodging bikes, I finally found the cache. Sneaky spot! I signed the logbook and replaced.
Our thanks to Tealby!

A QuickFind between passing cyclists while walking to the airport. Scanned the munzee and noted the information and was on my way. TFTC Tealby
Had an early start to play golf today and the flaming cats woke me before dawn; so instead of going to sleep I thought this would be a perfect time to get a few caches in high muggle areas or where the Geokids probably wouldn't go or not easy to get to. Thanks for a good spot and find.
A quick pickup while driivng through. Last log is strange as there is a pen in the cache??

Found on a leisurely ride around the lake didn't have a pen so wasn't able to sign. TFTC
#2459 - 06:50; I headed out this morning for an early Friday find, only to be thwarted when plan(e) A came adrift with a potentially muggle cache. I quickly moved on to plan B as I needed to return home to get ready to face the day and time was running out. Found a pretty convenient park and leaving the geomobile behind made my way to GZ, where a very quick find was had. Signed the log, replaced the cache and was soon headed home, almost on schedule. Busy place with all the cars passing by...but found two moments where there was none...
Well, today was the first real day of caching for my holidays and I enjoyed a pleasant ride around the lake. 37 finds and 10 DNFs! This was the sixteenth find of the day. There are certainly a lot of works happening around here! I hope I didn't look too suspicious around GZ but with the cache hidden the way it was, it was difficult to be inconspicuous. A quick find, log signed and cache returned. TFTC Tealby!
Hard to be discrete here, just had to make the grab regardless. Nice container that seems to be nice and dry.
Thanks

3rd day in Canberra, cycling the eastern and parlamentary Loop of Lake Griffiths. Nice and sunny autumn weather, collecting some caches in between. TFTC

Despite some friendly misinformation from a passer by - we found it eventually! TFTC
Sunday 13 April 2014 - a beautiful sunny autumn afternoon with scattered dark clouds across the sky perfect for a 35km bike ride from Belconnen. Quick and easy find. Thx p2p. TFTC
This is the first cache the kids, my dad and I found whilst cycling around east basin. We met a new comer to geocaching - Maurie - at the cache and he was looking for it too. It was nice to stop and have a bit of a chat before signing the log and crossing the river to head to our next find. Slowly but surely I am gathering the information needed to solve the puzzle.....eventually! TFTC Tealby.
A cycle around Lake Burley Griffin with friends and grabbed a few caches.
Fist one on the cycle around. Thanks

Having an appointment canceled had some time to kill, so go grab a few caches before the next one. Quick grab in an exposed position. Took trackable TFTC
Early morning walk along the river; really lovely. Easy find at this hour too. Left a traveller. TFTC
Found this a while ago
Thought I’d update my finds only a few weeks late
Very well hidden fun search

After no luck today in finding "The Far Peninsula", our caching spirits were lifted as we walked back to the car and pick this little one up.

Wow, I beat GoeSon to this find - things are looking up for me! Nice hide, challenging with the amount of muggle activity - even on a Sunday afternoon, but it all comes down to timing. Reasonable landing place for those who arrive by water, which is the hard way to get there. TFTC.
You sure know what time of year it is when you are kicking your way through a carpet of leaves. Nice easy walk and find. TFTC Tealby!

Found today with GrimRaider on the way home from a Fyshwich shopping spree. This is a lovely park and we nice to get out and kick through the leaves. Had to watch for muggles when retrieving the cache. TFTC Tealby
Found today after stopping at Telopea Park for lunch. Decided to go for a walk and pick up this cache as it was close by. Now I have to go and find the rest of the series. TFTC
love the Pokemon series so I'm glad to find a cache series for them! Not much of a grass type so finding Gloom was eh, hopefully you have a Charizard floating around here somewhere

I ride past this at least a couple of times a week. It has literally been a few years since my last DNF on it. Today, I was walking this loop starting near Telopea Park and as I neared, I remembered it was nearby. No GPS required, just an educated guess as where it was going to be. Lots of stuff happenning across the road! About 3 km later, I remember that I had forgotten the clue but that is OK, I have lost all the others as well
Found this - on a ride round the lake. Love the wetlands area. Yep you can even stay on the bike while getting this one. Good time to pick any blackberries if you want to get some of them that are now ready in the area.
Might try some of the other caches in the area ove the next few weeks.
Thanks Tealby.

Log book replaced, although the old book still had plenty of room with blank spaces throughout the book!!

Searched high and low, around and around, sniffed fumes, the regular place but it was not located by the cycling duo from Jindy.
Returned when it was slightly less busy, and in the guise of someone going for a run to avoid suspicion. Found it without too much trouble. Log's overfull and needs replacing. TFTC.
Little owl narrowly avoided a collision with a hurtling cyclist here, but we got it and Thanks for the cache Tealby
877. Found with STEV87 just on dark. Searched around for a bit and then found what we were looking for. Had to sign the back cover of the log book. TFTC.
97.found it with boot65 this being my thered go at this one but got it this time thanks to boot65 keen eye.
Number 20. I had to use the hint to get my hands on this cache. Well hidden.

All good things are three. This was the 3rd time I visit GZ and finally found it. More experienced, no one waiting impatiently on me and extending my search radius had me find it quickly this time.
People have started taking the bridge apart so it is not an easy find . Thanks for the cache Tealby.

Today is the day that we find our 2000th cache - rather excited! This one took us a little while. We parked in the car park near the boat ramp and walked over towards GZ. We were fairly certain we knew where it would be hidden, but the GPS was trying to tell us a different story. Eventually we trusted our instincts and found the cache in between passing traffic. TNLNSL TFTC
We continued along the PPT journey - completing them in reverse order. What a great park here. We stopped for longer and enjoyed afternoon tea here as it was such a pleasant outlook.
Thanks for another in the series Tealby.

Another one found and another clue collected. Tricky find but only due to the high muggle traffic.

After finding the other cache in the series...i again made the mistake of not collecting the clue.. excuse for another epic 53km ride !!
It was quite a busy area with the normal throng of runners and cyclists zipping past...
quick find once my GPS decided to behave...
