Easy find but the cache needs some drying out. Sorry we did not have the time as we are heading to Townsville. TNLNSL TFTC and a break from the drive.
We were not aware of this cache being inactivated. The cache was however still in place, though the log book was wet.
Really nice place, which we would not have stopped by if it was not for seeking a cache. TFTC! Bernbom (Denmark) #563

Found at 9.15am GAFF1. After leaving the idealic beach camp of Carmila Beach we headed off south and thought that we may as well do this cache as the view was spectacular. Looked around GZ which looked barron, and then a light lit and the cache was found in a very sneaky spot. Not sure how the log book got so wet.
Thanks dandent.

this one is in need of a new book as the old is unusable due to being as wet as the ocean nearby.
we decided to drop in a micro coin for a visit as we have done this one quite awhile ago. We have retrieved the coin to continue its journey down the coast.
Well in reality this was a DNF and then an find. I had a quick look but was led to the same green ant residence as some of the others. With a return trip past here on the next day I took a look at the cache description and that sort of gave it away for me. It was a rapid find the next evening on route back to Mackay. The log book was very soggy... Soggier than Dandents handkerchief after his 4th failed attempt at Coppabella Nano.
This is the secong attempt at this one, as per usual the etrex said to go to green ants, but we have learnt a few things since then.

A nice hide, it took us two goes but well worth the effort. The log book is saturated and unusable. We wrapped the old book in gladwrap and included a dry sheet for new entries. It is in need of a new dry log book.

What a great spot, would never have driven in if not for the cache.
Found it ok but the log is wet. TFTC.

Couldn't find its counterpart, but I was exhausted after a day of geocaching. And slightly grumpy too. Lol......but found this beautiful location with BLUE ROCKS! Lol....who would have thought. Thanks for leading me here. Loved it. And the boat flower bed - so cute.
Finally get to log this one. Have stopped here a couple of times but my Etrex left us at greenant central and so we departed with kinked necks and no sign of a clue. This time Geowife produced her Garmin Nuvi set to the co-ordinate page and led us straight to the hide.
Thanks Dandent

FOUND WITH BUBBLENSQUEAK WHILST ENROUTE TO ROCKY, TERRIFIC VIEWS.NICE HIDE, WONDER HOW MUCH ENTERTAINMENT THE RESIDENTS OF THE HOUSE NEXT TO THE CACHE GET FROM THIS ONE. TNLN, TFTC.
Not wrong about grief! We hate micros. Still, STW girl came to the fore again and found the blighter. Nice hide. If only she'd been with us the last time we came here! The find was not helped in the slightest on either visit by the GPS jumping all over the place and never giving a reading less than 10m, despite clear skies and a fantastic view. We can now cross off this annoying little one.
Found with Matt_Stomper on our way to Townsville for New Years. Great Hide. TFTC
Found with Shell_seeker today on the way from Gladstone to Townville. TFTC!!!
QUICK STOP WHILE ENROUTE TOWNSVILLE TO ROCKY. EASY FIND AFTER A FEW FALSE STARTS. LOVELY SPOT! TFTC.

We stayed for one night at the Holiday Park and started today with a morning walk along the beach. The cache caused no grief at all, we can not imagine why .

Thank goodness for the log clues. To cap it off we still took 20 minutes to find it. Well hidden.
Lookes for quite a while but no luck. We finally gave up after getting attacked by millions of very agressive ants!!
Did this cache today at 7am as an appetizer for breakfast. As I've seen this kind of hide many times before, it was only a matter of seconds to find it.

Was in a hurry to get home for the NRL grand final.
Well that's my excuse. I know, it's not very convincing.
Another day.

15:07 Stopped in for a rest on our way north to Mackay. Found the cache hanging around without a Clair in the world. What a spot to live. Tftc
WanderingAus wandered by on day seventy of a 6 month trip Wandering Australia and made an easy find. Muggles (or possibly cachers) at the back of the house are aware of the cache, although they tried to tell me I was a long way from it when I already had it in my hand and in my pocket.
My find No 681, TNLNSL.

I drove right up to this one and spotted it straight away. I don't think it should be visible like it was though. I couldn't go near it as there were picnicers and locals on the verander close by. Might be worth checking. I took a photo but cannot upload it at the moment. It clearly shows the container just hanging around.
Thanks. SM.

In the book of LEDGIN'S. Found at 1645hrs. Quite cute. I actually enjoy these that have a little imagination added to them. TFTC.
Was going to attempt this cache after finding one close by, alas it wasn't to be. A muggle was sitting on her back verandah in full view and another muggle couple drove up beside me and produced a picnic from their car and commenced settling in for a long stay. Noted an area where a previous cacher had been, didn't think it would be there though. Will keep in mind for next time I am back in the area. TFTC.
Found at 1100. Took a couple from Mossman Qld to check out the cache with me - looks like there will be two new cachers on line soon. Good hide, wasn't where I looked first.
nice, quick and easy, but very wet! dried out the logbook on my way to find no.1, fortunately it was a bright, breezy day... did the best i could to block the holes with some supa glue, and put some camo tape round it, well just cos I like cammo tape...tnln,sl tftc
[... mmm ... yep this one needed help.
I had to replaced the log book
did some maintenance on the container (in the rain)
but wasn't really prepared ... will have to keep an eye on it.
... new logbook, but don't forget to bring a pen.
plus another clue, for those struggling ... ]greenants shouldn't bother you

Water seems to be leaking through the holes in the container. Log is very wet.
Dan, you really need to up the difficulty on this cache to 5 or call off the green ants. I only looked to 30 secs and had them all over me. That will teach me for not reading the last log. Gives me a cache to find on my next trip up.

Due to the fight for high dry land, we left the Cache to the Green Ants and will return to conquer another day. lol
This one had me barking up the wrong tree for a while, but I found it after a 15 minute search. The log is very wet I didn't have time to dry it out. Thanks dandent for another top cache.
Located cache - I have seen a similar one on the Far South Coast (NSW). Friendly locals even leave raspberry cordial for visitors. Strange indeed. High tide today - pretty spot.
Found at 15:41 on the way south.
A nice hide, no-one about on a Friday afternoon (not even the water! It seemed to be about 1km out).

Found this cache without a worry it was the 1st place I looked. This is a rather strange place when low tide is here. I'd hate to get caught out there if the tide turned! TFTC SL
Found this one without problems as there are limited places for this hide. The main problem was waiting for the people living nearby to be otherwise occupied so it could be grabbed. TFTC.
Thanks for bringing us here. Surprised to see the no camping sign.

Fortunately there were no neighbors to see my fruitless seach where the GPS was telling me to look. Before retreating I checked a few other likely spots and what do you, it was in one of them... Thanks.

Thought this one would be another quick find and I would be back on my way but the caches new neighbors were wondering what I was up to so I made up some silly reason and got out of there.
After "Wheres the water" cache in which we didn't see much water this cache area looked very inviting in the early morning sunlight. It was also high tide. We found the cache quickly as we have used a very similar method on one of the caches we have put out. Thanks dandent for giving us a reason to stop at this delightful spot.
I can understand DanielC's delemmia, as my GPS took me more towards the tree close to the house. A quick check, and I realised it probably wasnt there. Widened the search area a bit. Checked the letter box carefully, as I wouldnt put it past the owner to put it there. Thought I was on a winner with a funny spiral stick in a stump, but it wouldnt come apart.
Finally, after rechecking the cache page, I spotted something missing, and the secret was revealed. Signed the log at 1800 hrs. Then off to set up camp for the night.
Cheers

Found, a little tricky took a little thought & some stretching of the imagination.
OK so it looks like the cache has now got neighbours ... but if DanielC was upsetting them, he was in the wrong place ... nuff said.
DanielC didn’t find this one. Apparently my search around the trees and stump alarmed the owners of near-by houses who thought I was some official checking up on their tree clipping activities. Unless my GPS was giving me the run-a-round, this cache is a bit close to these houses. I explained about geocaching and assured them that I was not arranging to have them fined. Cheers, and Good Hunting! Dan
No muggles around today which gave us a chance to get out of the car and stretch our legs and have a Scout around for this one. But in the end it was only a short stop as it didn't take us long to find it. TNLNSL Thanks for the cache.
We were all prepared for a big hunt but alas this was not to be the case as there were some muggles settled in having lunch at the table near GZ. Hopefully we will get a chance to pick this one up on our way home.
Found at 5.30pm on the way north.
And true to its word it did give some some grief and some fun. Another great cache.

Decided that i needed to double my cache finds for the day as i heading home from a great weekend in Rocky. Grabbed both of the local caches in this area. An easy cache at this time of day, however i take it the difficulty may be going up a couple of notches soon. The coordinates were spot-on and the cache was hidden as i would have suspected....sorry to say Everlasting.
Nice sunset in the area, with views over the ocean highlighted by the moon rising and the smoke from the "controlled" backburn across the other side of the highway.
Thanks dandent for the sneaky hide and the chance to stop in here......i just need to work out where the Blue Rocks are located???

First to Find! Found this with my family around 11:50 am. This is a great place to hide the cache however, i am thankful that I had three other people helping me find the cache as I probably would not have found it by myself.
