Sorry to see this one go but it leaves the way for someone else to place a cache in this area. Great while it lasted. The Goons
disappointed to have to disable this one but hope to have it up and running soon. The Goons
Tried this twice over the past week, but no luck. I thought after reading all the clues on the logs, looking at the photos, etc. that I might get lucky. I also had the benefit of no muggles around today, which gave me a good opportunity to look and grope around potential cache hidey-holes. Got the blues, but no Blue Water!
Bah humbug- we were on to a good thing today before trying this cache. Found some blue marks on the trunk of the tree which may have just been coincidental but nothing else. The tree looks to be in bad shape. On the drive in we weren't sure where the Council property ended and the private property began although there was Council signage neer the ring of fire.
Visited cache on a very rainy day with Mike-FNQ.We searched for as long as we could but no luck. Even resorted to the use of an umbrella the rain was that hard. To hard to search in detail so will check on this one another day.
Found after a short hunt. Stayed for a few days at Trinity Beach. Nice location. Took one TB. T4TC
found ok there were a few muggles we had to wait for to make the grab [^]T bracelets L glow stick and Aussie flag also dropped Signal TB in.

A drive up cache. Loved the beach, but not prepared to venture any further, due to the warning signs about crocs! Lovely spot.
My first Australian geocache find. Yahoo, I'm on a roll now. Better yet, I found it from the 2A Sunbus and released the Archmeister travel bug. Thanks for a nice first cache.
EYE was right about the LEVEL of difficulty of this cache. it was easy to FIGure out. and i got to walked BACK TO THE BEACH. thanks searchwise015
Sorry log very late - found this cache 7th August whilst on a visit from Vic. with Son and family from USA. Great theme (did we see the Blue "Geo" car????). Left TB Son brought over from States, also Blue Disney Star. Took O.
Lovely beach - very quiet.
Lovely beach - very quiet.
Visiting from Vancouver, Canada. Quick find. Beautiful beach. Left Canadian flag pin. TFTH. Bigbopper1
Did this around 7.30 am while holidaying nearby. Lots of cars and muggles passing back and forth - we grabbed the cache without trouble then had to wait out several people in order to replace it! A good hiding spot. TNLN Thanks!
Finally, after a few trips to Bluewater we found it!
Always too many muggles around so the darkness of night was our best weapon. Left the Blue Youth Week Keyring and took the Disney Stamp. Recommend doing this one at night (take some mozzie spray!). TFTF

No luck finding the cache on our second trip to this site.
Too many muggles around sitting in cars eating, walking their dogs and riding motorbikes! We found the "ring of fire" and had a good look around everwhere but came up empty handed. Hope the cache hasn't been moved.

Cache was quite exposed so luckily it hadn't been muggled. Care needs to be taken to replace it out of sight. Nice area. Took travel bug and left travel bug. Thanks The Goons
After another visit to the neach to allow the muggles to move on this one was easily found. Thanks.

another aussie CACHE while on holiday in area, nice hide, exchanged a few swaps, no snakes thank goodness!!
Working in the area and dropped in quickly to conceal the cache a little better...
Dropped off blue Travel Bug.
Cache is very visible but I too had to do a quick drop back where I found it due to muggles and couldn't mess around relocating. I Suggest next visitor moves it slightly- a move of only 30cm or so and I think there is a better little hole for it. I also seem to remember it was there before- I think it has migrated slightly in recent times.

We left Steggy (TB) here - in this lovely spot just steps from the beach. I'm sure he'll enjoy his stay. An easy find - TFTC!
This was a very easy one - tricky thing was grabbing it without muggles watching. TNLN.
First cache for H,M, and O from the UK. An easy one to begin!
Took pen and bouncy ball, left pen and barbie ring

A nice easy family-friendly Geocache for bamster and the GeoKids to travel to. Cache was in good condition. A number of cars in the area but no Geo Muggles. TNLN. Thanks for GeoCaching!!!
Team Mesazoo from Mesa, Arizona. Took Cairns Taipans keychain and left blue mini flashlight (torch). TFTC!
Originally logged at our B&B at Cape Tribulation. Easy find, but you have to be quick to grab it in between cars of muggles.

This is my second find for today. Took my two dogs and fiance with me as I thought it would be a nice location for an outing. Someone had already parked by the ring of fire and there were quite a few other cars parked near by but no-one walking around so they must have all been down on the beach. Then all of a sudden there was a shower and lots of people came from nowhere. Had to stop looking for a while while they all left. Finally spotted it but it was a little to high for me to get so my partner got it out for me. Took the cache back to the car to check out its contents.

Second find for the day. 11:30 am and the kids are getting hungry. Stopped right next to the Cache and found it by feeling around as you can't see it from where you stand. Remembered the Blue theme and made sure our swaps were the right colour.
It has been many years since I have been here and I must say Geocaching really has made me return to a lot of old haunts.
The development along this road has really changed the place.
Thanks Goons.

Dropped in to pick up diabetes TB. Have dropped it now in Cardwell Range Lookout Cache GCQM1M so can't log it properly (have no code).
Found it pretty quickly at 16:50 and took the container back to car to log visit as there were a few muggles doing their afternoon constitutionals. I got caught when a couple of guys pulled up and took 15 minutes to get their fishing gear out of the car & a couple of Eskys before I could replace the cache. Another nice hidden FNQ beach.
In keeping with the blue theme I dropped off a Diabetes TB as it is a BLUE circle TN. TFTC

A great one to fit in between the ANZAC Day service and meeting the family at the beach for a BBQ. Had no idea this beach existed, so a great find.
I arrived around noon, and there were just too many muggles to look for the cache, and I ended up leaving and coming back in the evening. I chose my parking spot more carefully this time so that the ute was a screen I could hide behind to look for the cache. Success! Yes, you do need to be a tallish.
To keep the blue theme, I took the orange smiley on the lid, and left a blue kangaroo pen.
Thanks for not only the cache, but the location too. Lets hope with all the development in the area that it remains unspoiled.

Third for the afternoon. Easy Find. Great coords. Lot of muggle activity around. When we first hit the GZ a muggles car was parked right on top of it. A short stroll to the beach and back and muggles were gone. Had to execute extraction with stealth as another lot of muggles had parked not so far away. Extracted log book and went back to car fill it out. Parked car right on site to offer cover for reentry.

After an unsuccessful search at Yorkey's Knob I finally found the cache at this nice spot. I saw many "caches" on that place. None of those was blue. Therefore I removed all this rubbish and gave the place a quick clean up this way (CITO).
But even using the clue it was not very easy for me as a small person to find the hide. It took some effort. But it was worth it.

Almost every content is BLUE by now.

Got caught in a large shower, hence very wet by the time Terry located the Cache.
Very good spot. Left blue peg and took blue lady.

We basically pulled up right on top of the cache. Although we did have to wait briefly for some muggles to head over to the beach. We happened to have a blue peg in the car was we added that to the collection. TNSL but we did pick up the geocoin. Thanks for the cache.
Mother Crew & crew 6 found whilst Crew Dad guarded Crew 2.5 asleep in car. Crew dad was however called upon to look in the hard places and actwally found the container. One for the Dads!!!!!.

Quick and easy found at a sunny afternoon.
Thanks for the cache.

PS.: Sorry for our delay in logging, but we just arrived in Germany. It's always a bit problematic to find an internet access when we are on holidays in Australia.
PPS.: Sorry about our English.

We figured it out! Was funny when one half of bluelens didn't tell the other half the clue untill after a while hehehe. Cool blue themed cache. Took little blue pistol and left blue super charged racing car. Also took Thuringia Geocoin to move along! SL TFTC
Well we knew where to look but wow what a lot of nooks and crannies to search. Eventually a break in the stream of muggles coming and going allowed us to grab the cache . Picked up Aussie Traveller Geocoin. Left from Sea to Shining Sea Travel Bug and Thuringia Geocoin. We also left a blue water pistol and picked up blue car.
Returned today and found lots of little clues pointing up. Ate the blue lollypop, took the march geocoin and left an ozi geocoin + a blue marble and blue bangel. Oliver had a great time in the water but looked worried when he read about the crocs.
Found with Yarrum jnr. Took quite a bit of searching, so many potential hiding spots. Took Dorkfish Geocoin, Left Wishuwell Geocoin. Enjoyed an explore along the beach. SL TFTC
Came yesterday too, but there was a croud of council workers camped around the spot having smoko.
Today I looked all round and climbed the 'FIGure it out' thing from 3 directions but to no avail. It had rained during the night and everything was damp. all traces of previous hiding and discovering attempts were gone.
