Part of the container is missing

As per the last few log entries, the only intact part of this cache is the lid and the log book. Transferred everything into a new Ziplock bag and re-hid. Needs urgent attention.

Urgently needs new container, new log book and pencil or pen. Previous container has been smashed up. Thanks.

Will pickup the bit next time past.

Hadn't expected to be able to park that close!! Awesome. The rain cleared up for a moment 'specially for me to find the cache and sign the log, then it started up again as I drove off. TFTC TNLN SL

found this one after a night with the friendliest campgroundhost. At GZ there was a hedgehock sleeping on the box, so the trickiest thing today was to grap the box without wacking this fellow

I got out of the car and was waylaid by DUCKS! Ducks to the left, ducks to the right! I made my escape, found the cache, and then to exact revenge glared at the poor caged birds. They just cooéd and ate more seed. Thanks Bitsprayer.

We were travelling home from the Catlins and decided to use this as a break from driving and a morning tea stop. Found the Park easily and were impressed by the birds and the flowers - just the time to enjoy Rhododenrons. But finding the cache defeated us. Is it still there? We checked out trees, rocks, rhodos, walkways and returned to the same spot. We checked co ordinates. We gave up and enjoyed our coffee in very pleasant surroundings. We would love to know where we went wrong so guess we will have another go next visit to the Catlins.

12.00noon. Lunch stop in balclutha & a quick distraction beforehand to find this cache amongst the colourful flowering rhododendrons. A straightforward find. The hand cream came in handy. Signed log. Tftc. [8d] m & p.

Easy find, didn't know this park existed in Balclutha. Kids loved the playground and birds.

Went to Te Anau for the week during the University mid-semester break.

Was a miserable day, and GPS wasn't being overly helpful. Found it after a few minutes searching.

Found on 13/08/2008 at 1545. A pretty quick find but got very wet feet as we approached this one from the carpark in the gardens. Neat spot.

Not quite so chilly here as some of our caches today. Pond looked lovely with autumn colours around and a few ducks swimming about. Claimed the cache reasonably quickly with the help of the hint. TNLN TFTC

Bit tricky to find but a bit of concerted hunting revealed the cache (with the help of the hint). TFTC

Nice garden. However, we didn't see any flowers when we visited. TFTC.

Lovely autumn colours staring to show. Didn't know this park existed. Cleanest loos in Balclutha. Would be a lovely place to take kids. Left a hackey sack, took a Chinese puzzle (which I took to pieces straight away, then remembered that I can never get them back together!) TFTC.

This cache was a nice diversion during our drive to Dunedin. We made our way through a large flock of ducks on our way to grab the cache. Beautiful park this... We stayed at Balcutha camp ground tonight, so this cache was only a short evening walk away. TFTC!

Lovely spot for a cache, kids playground nearby, nice park surrounds and the aviaries are an added bonus to the find. Good clues and pleasant stroll in the sun.

A fun find and great spot for the kids afterwards at the park. Birthplace of my parents so know doubt they played there.
