Spending Christmas this year with my family, and of course, lots of caching in the mix that means!!
Mum was keen to attend the events in Arrowtown, and I was keen to get the last of the lonely caches that I needed for the geocaching licences challenge.
Noone was waiting - lluckily, meaning we could make a quick grab
Consec caching day # 782

For the first time during our visit to New Zealand the weather was getting really worse. We headed north-east for our next destination: Dunedin. But first we visited the very small Te Anau Wildlife Center. The whole day was very cold and we only looked for geocaches and tried to get further on to Dundin. Finally we arrived at the Royal Albatross Center just in time for taking a private tour, that was even in german as the tour guide Sabine and all visitors are german.
This was a quick stop over, park and grab cache, not that hard to find, thanks.

additional information: I will change my geocaching alias name from 'Schlitz13' to 'Megalodon'

We are currently on holiday in Southland, visiting from Auckland, together with HOLE-IN-ONE2, who is visiting from the UK. Today we drove from Queenstown to Invercargill, picking up some caches along the way. Quickly found, but it was in the other corner from where we were expecting, but guess it depends on which way you are facing? Thanks for the cache!

Day 12 of our NZ tour for the MEGA, we are visiting from Perth, Western Australia.
We headed out of Gore today about 9.30am with the aim of stopping overnight in Queenstown. You can't travel too far when there are so many caches to stop you every few km's. (unless you go past some of course..... )
Another quick find here. Found a pathtag in the cache so swapped for a FelixII visits NZ Mega.

2nd find in our caching career!!!! Very hard to spot without clue. Great fun though
Logbook is full, owner needs to visit and change, managed to just squeeze our name into the logbook
Decided to take a small detour while on our way South and Mrs Yeetrees went and found this cache while waiting for me to turn the car around. Found the cache without too much issues but when we opened it we found the logbook was a bit damp and was full as well, BUT we managed to squeeze our name into the logbook. I think that we had waited long enough at GZ and decided it was time to move on, another nice spot for a cache, thanks for bringing us here, TFTC TNLNSL (2949)
grabbed this one while the kids were enjoying the nearby playground.
