We decided to head down to Gippsland for the Easter long weekend: a great excuse to go caching and perhaps discover some 4WD tracks a little further away from home.
Found this cache on our leisurely Saturday drive from Melbourne to Lakes Entrance. The log is very full, might fit one or two more entries.

The most difficult part is dealing with all the drunk ppl on a friday/aturday night.
Sneaky little hide. GPS bounced around a bit so was very pleased to put my hand on this one on a quiet Saturday afternoon. TFTC
Found on the way to Mallacoota for a holiday, quick and easy (too easy) find with my bro SpencyMcG... Difficulty probably too high!!
Must have walked passed this cache many times before without noticing this clever hide. Very crafty hiding
#1313 No concerns with muggles this afternoon on Christmas Day making it a low stress search and a relatively quick find. Good read of local history on the cache page and TFTC Crisp image.
Found with the help of a friend's little hints.
My GPS was out by a least 8 meters.
Thank you for the hide Crisp image

Dropped by for a coffee after a visit to the hospital. Pulled out phone, checked app, and there ya go, only a 2 min walk to a cache. Muggle central alright, but I spotted this one surprisingly easily. Mindful of the old dearies in the car next to gz and the view via mirror of those in the hairdressers, made a coy retrieval before retreating to bench around corner to sign log. Was easy having a good look at the magnificent old buildings as we replaced cache, with a convenient coughing fit a nice distraction to hide the actual placement. Nice spot. TFTC

Our second attempt at this little cache. A beautiful day after all the rain getting the geokiddies out of the house. The little bugger was where I thought it would be. Why didnt I find it the first time we were here?!
There were quite a few muggles strolling by on this busy corner, but a quick find for Jnr. Jimmy No. 1. TFTC!!
No muggle about making the search not as difficult as it could have been. Thanks Crisp lmage FTC.
Last time we came her we spent ages to no avail. Today the GPS was spot on and we walked up and could see the little devil, signed the log and walked away all in 5 minutes. TFTC
Found this one today after our third attempt. Sat on the chair and thought about where I would hide the cache ! Being a micro I looked at 3 places in could be. So logically I picked the right place . Last time we looked under torch light and what we thought was the cache was in actual fact where the council water the tree, but having said that it would have also been a good hiding spot !
Thanks for the cache crisp image

Wow!! Finally. It has taken us 4 tries to find this one whilst being inconspicuous !!! Thank you for the challenge. With ALKITA85 and our children ))
The search we put up for this cache was extensive but well worth it!! Took 3 visits but FINALLY succeeded !
Replaced today. Please ensure it is replaced the way you find it.

This was the second time hunting for this cache, unfortunately unsuccessful again. Can I have a clue please?
Could not find this again after visiting area several times throughout the year. Have continuously been here with other caching friends throughout the day and night. We all leave here unsatisfied. There are also spiders everywhere, so please be careful when putting hands in holes. Bites may be given.
A hint would be great. This one has a whole lot of us stumped!!

Had a look around with pirry and ucanfindmojo... read past logs, but still couldn't find it.
Hmm- a quieter time of night as everyone is inside the local pubs. Got scared when 4 Hells Angels members started walking toward me down the footpath- so jumped back in my car until the coast was clear. Got it despite it still being busy. TFTC.
Feeling accomplished! This thing was driving me mad for weeks. Finally looked in the right spot!! Cheeky little blighter
Searched for so long and could not find, really thought we kind of had the right spot too but the coordinates kind of alway point inside the building so not sure if its just my phone but we searched all areas around no luck what so ever
At 4.45pm on Tuesday afternoon there were heaps of Muggles here & it became too difficult & we gave up.
The corner history is still a bit of a mystery at the moment, lots of muggle about will check another time.
I firstly spotted something that was a likely cache container and thought " how clever". Then, after biding my time , pounced only to find it wasn't the cache.
Found the little blighter soon after. Cabbies are a pest when caching lol.

(a nice little log remover was under the bench btw)

Trying to catch up finds from months ago, apologies for the belated log.
6th found in the company of Coley_Babee.
Caching today to attend the local event plus some other caches if time permits.
We started in a likely area to hide this cache, but it was coming up trumps. Lucky today wasn't too busy I'm sure we were looking dodgy haha.
Looked towards the logs for any hints, and soon after the little blighter was located, signed and returned.
Thanks again Crisp image for this cache.

The GPS had us a little out for this one, but after reading some of the logs we decided to move our search.
I had spotted the cache, but had to wait for the right moment to grab it, we signed the log and then had another short wait to put the hide back

Out with GumNuts. I checked where Mr. gum nuts found the cache but I avoided the spiders web areas! TFTC
Loads of Muggles around but the cache was located and a sneaky grab made. Found with stringerscraven. TFTC, SL

As we were in town anyway, I thought I'd take a look, but 2 long attempts failed to produce any results!
Took some inspiration from a previous logger and went hunting after dinner at Sari's Indian restaurant. Found it after a couple of minutes and it's only our second cache ever! The eight legged guardian was still there but we braved it and there it was. Can't imagine how one would find it during lunch time rush!
First find for the weekend with Chaplain Mike after scrummy dinner at Sari's. Log a little damp. SL TFTC!
17/06/2012 @ 19:35pm - First actual find for the weekend not including events with Smart Sassy Siren. Found after consuming a banquet meal at Sari's Indian Restaurant in Church Street (creates a benchmark for Indian food in Gippsland). TFTC TNLN SL
On our way to Buchan for the third day of a big caching tour with Hoojar. A stop in Trafalgar for coffee made us wander of to this one. Due to the rain there wasn't a high muggle factor wich made a quick find!

We had no plans to find this cache, but a quick coffee break en route to Buchan, meant we gave it a go. A pretty easy find for Wilbert67, I think the rain keeping the muggles away helped!
Cheers

Walked up on a muggle free, very damp Sunday, and put our hand on it in the first placed we looked.

Went and found this after doing "Dad Remembers When" Multi cache.
I arrived at GZ and it was very overcast and trying to rain. GPSr was bouncing around and pointing me in all directions. So I just wandered around had had a bit of a read of the plaques around GZ whilst it tried to settle down. It finally sent off in a direction I thought was unlikely, so I turned around and went the other way. When it finally decided to settle down, it soon was pointing me to a likely place.
I quickly found the cache and signed the log.
TFTC Crisp image. There was some interesting info around GZ
The plastic bag was open, some water had got in and the log was a bit damp and wet along the exposed edge. I dried out the bag as best as possible. And ensured it was resealed properly.

Found very early in the morning before any Muggles are up and about!!!!
I could see the container as I walk to GZ......Hope that's normal for this cache?

I had some cache points sent to my gps for fisrt time found this cache by walking back to my car then I looked back and saw the black do then went back and got it and opened it and found a page to write on
Today was the second day of our excursion out of Tasmania touring from Melbourne to Canberra and return via Gippsland. We visited a number of towns today between Melbourne and Sale and were lucky enough to find some caches along the way. Despite being overcast at times and some very infrequent drizzle, we have had an excellent day. This location is certainly muggles-ville, especially near the closing time for mail for the day. In one sense it was good to have many people around as two more did not stand out. We quickly located the area of GZ but the initial search of a likely object proved fruitless. Then another object was searched and the cache was in hand. TFTC Crisp_image
Lots of muggles around but was able to retrieve the cache with the cover of rummaging through my many shopping bags. Very impressive to have it right in the middle of such a busy spot!! Didn't take anything but did leave a pretty blue hair tie. TFTC
Passing through town today and one of the girls was able to retrieve the cache when nobody was around. The log book was quite damp though. A nice taste of local history - thanks Crisp Image.
Visiting over xmas weekend so we diverted for some caching on the trip back home. Found and retrieved with no muggle activity, would be quite difficult on a working day. SL TFTH
Found at 6.05pm. The cache was being protected by an 8 legged guardian, but it was soon despatched and the container was revealed. The log was damp but still able to be signed. Not many muggles to worry us or distract us from our search. Love the old buildings and TF the history Crisp image.

Had a good search again but turned up nothing. Limited hiding spots here and it is difficult with all the muggles around. A clue would be nice.
Quick find this evening at the deserted corner with no-one around to disrupt me.
Thanks Crisp Image for the history and the challenge.
