This one was the last on the way home today from work.
The calculation was easy and I was soon off after the Cache.
Arriving at the GZ i had to wait for a slow canine to leave the area with his walker before I could retrieve it.

This is one of the new 'convenient' caches I'm doing now that my cycle route to work has changed
Scoped this out en route and guessed at the potential hide, but being such a busy little park in the afternoons, didn't want to risk rummaging around too much, so grabbed the details and did the calculations at work. A quick check on google maps and sure enough, my hunch was right. Quiet enough this afternoon and on approach deduced the hide correctly and made a quick find...
Dropped off a TB.

Got to this park at around 3:15pm to find a game of cricket underway at one end of the park and a number of canines and their owners training on the other end. Found the first clue easily but had to leave the cache for later. Came back at about 8:30pm and found the cache easily. Logged the find and returned the cache. TNLN. TFTC. Kems
Found the easy way. Don't think I would have found it with the more interesting way - may be a bloke thing! Nice hide and plenty of goodies. TNLN. TFTC Teflon Boy.
grabbed clues last week, but after commencing a trek across a sodden field back then, I gave up.
Went back tonight using an alternate route (last cache of the night after filling up at the local BP).
This was a quick find, and a nice challenge.

#3 on our High Country getaway. Did a bit of geocaching on our way out of town. Hounds did abound at this site. Found the phone number and then the cache easily enough. Picked up Water Quacker TB to move it along. TFTC.
Nice and easy one to start the day. Nice little park tucked away for the dogs lovers for meet and greet. I think the owners enjoy it just as much as the dogs. Took traveller and left one.

A great oval to visit and place for dogs to feel free. There was a happy dog racing around the oval chasing the little low flying speedy birds, and I guess the birds liked it as well as they persisted.
Besides watching the birds and dog, I also found the cache. TFTC

Hi teflonboy, i made a mistake about what i had put in the cache yesterday. I have put in my Daffyd the Welsh Dragon, who would like to see some of Australia first before finding his way back home to Wales in the u.k.

Found this one at 18:05 while on the way home from a meeting nearby. I like these types as one particular function on Geko makes them a "traditional" find for me . Had to time the retrieval and replacement of the cache carefully to co-incide with gaps between muggles and their dogs walking by.

A nice easy cache for newbies like me.
Also good to have the way point out in the open: good for checking one's GPS against known co-ordinates. However the results makes me thing my GPS is a little bit out of whack.

I think I parked at the most suitable location, but had I been using my head a bit better I would have saved myself the walk on this hot day. Worst still, as soon as I sat to collect the info at WPT1 a bird crapped from high above all over my new PDA![:(!]
Not to worry, plenty of tissues in the car to clean it off with. Fortunately the cache wasn't a crappy experience.

A quick multi was just the ticket for the last of the cache finds for GabGab and I today. We collected the clues, did the plotting, drove the car somewhat closer and took a 2 minute walk. Woohoo! Cache
Took nothing, left nothing.
Thanks teflon boy or the opportunity to find your cache today. It was simply too hot to walk today, so the sloth that I am and the youngster than GabGab is, we decided that driving wouldn't spoil our experience. I hope you don't mind.

Found by Roma and Max.
We collected the necessary numbers at the posted co-ords, did our calculation, but due to the numbers of folk in the vicinity we chose to drive around and park closer to GZ and make a more discreet approach.
We left one of our usual Mondo Figurines for the cache and took a Bear as a memento.
Thank you teflon boy for placing this cache.

Found by edmil and maddie. Nice quick multi. We wer actually off to do another but had changed mind and ended up at this one ( I had forgot to stop the navigation) ah well never mind we were where a cache was and that is all that mattered. Worked out the new coords and marched to the cache. I was heading a bit further while maddie walked straight to the cache - Damn another one I have to live down. Made no swap but left

Don't have a hound
but ground zero I found.
Is it just me or does everyone think they can play tennis during the Australian Open. Having said that I need to hurry because the match is about to start with Federer.
Plenty of muggles and muggle-muts. I stood near GZ for a while waiting for my chance and then stood a bit longer waiting to put it back. This one is close to Ghost Suburb...check that one out for sure!

We collected the required information and headed off to gz where the gpsr led us directly to gz and we found it in the first place we looked. Moved away to fill out log and make swaps feeling quite pleased with our selves
Took nothing
Left ball for dogs to play with.
Then the trouble began, a lady and a young child came to play very close to gz making returning the cache impossible. After waiting a while we decided to visit a nearby cache with the hope that they would be gone when we returned. This turned out to be the case and the cache was retuned to it's hidey hole

Managed to find the long way in but once here the clue was obvious. Tried both methods but never made sencs of the cryptic one and the cache was easily found using the clue. Took and left different dogs as I did the necessary between a hand full of muggles occasionally passing. Thanks teflon boy for the cache and walk.
I returned to this cache after finding a spotted dog in a near-by cache. He may have escaped from here. I originally put a wading bird in the cache for the dogs to chase but on returning I rescued it. Thanks teflon boy.
Tally Ho the Coffee Clan stopped off for the cache!. We were lucky today as there was very little activity around and we were able to test both options. The second chice had us stumped for a few minutes then it seemed to fit into place and we confirmed both by finding a well hidden cache.
Many thanks to the Teflon Boy for another fun cache in a park that makes me want to go and buy a dog.

Second of twelve caches for the day found at 10:50 in the company of Dak Emu. This turned out to be a nice easy multi and a short walk which we were glad of due to the rain. I used to work close to here at Optus Vision. I dropped off the Initial point Geocoin black nickel and picked up several other coins. Thanks Teflon boy for the cache.
Third of thirteen finds on a cold, rainy day in company with acts2youthgroup. We took the easy way out and collected the numbers. Then we took the lazy way out and drove around to GZ. We found it at 1050. I had nothing to suit the theme, so I made no exchange. I did grab the Geocoin though. I dropped a heap of Geocoins into this cache, and Acts2YG nabbed them. Thanks to teflon boy for the cache.

A short detour on my way to work this morning had me at the posted coords, and a few quick calculations later I was on my way to GZ. The alternate method was in my mind, and confirmed the accuracy of my arithmetic - although I only got the cryptic clue later when doing my log. A nice, easy find in another of the nice parks this area can lay claim to.

Found at 3.50pm GAFF1. Woofers abound! That's for sure. As we opened the door of our car, a woofer came bounding up and licked c-pprass on the arm and then moved on. What a welcome! We decided to use the cryptic method for finding the cache as we are somewhat jaded of doing substitutions, counting and maths. We scanned the horizon and we soon discovered what the cryptic hint meant and headed off. The full meaning of the hint didn't dawn upon us until after we found the cache. Thanks teflon boy for an interesting cache (used to play tennis at the nearby courts many years ago) Took: small long eared dog, Left: Guide dog puppy.
Chose one of the 3 car parks to enter the area by and tried the second choice method first, with the clue of "water boiling symbol"!Couldnt work it out,so did it via the pn'number method and was soon at GZ and could now understand the "clue meaning".A well thought out hiding method too.Tally Ho and thanks to teflon boy.TNLN.
Dear Teflon Boy,
We found your cache tonight at 8:55pm, just missing the FTF by 5 minutes. On route to WP1, we saw a suspect torchlight flashing around over on one side of the oval. This turned out to be PickupDad who had fled the scene by the time we arrived. The final co-ords seemed to be a bit south but the clue pointed us right. Thanks for our 1st Teflon Boy cache.
Kind Regards,
