Came out this way to do the nearby earthcache, and while I had no intention of searching for this one due to the amount of DNF's...I ended up being close enough to it to give it a look. Got to GZ, clambered all around the side of the cliff...but there's nothing there.
Attempted this one with Kembla (he had tried before) ...we also lost our nerve as this is a difficult cache to get to ...certainly not a 1.5 and more like a 3.
And yes, another DNF on this one.
And yes, another DNF on this one.
A little too tricky for me...lost my nerve! The grass was very deep which makes for tough walking once you are off the main walking track!
After a long walk 1.2km I found myself very close but as usual at the wrong end of a cliff.
I briefly contemplated what it would take to get there safely but I chose to surrender instead.
A hang glider would have been handy.
I'll leave this one for the Younger generation.

What a bummer =(
I approached this cache from werri beach, although it said the track here was closed, i proceeded anyway! Its only a calf deep wade to the other side! =) There was a storm over the seas and was very windy.
At first, after reading the logs i went down early, only to find it dead ends! So Back up again to find another way down closer. Eventually scrambled my way down about 20m from GZ, Once down I got my bearings, found the area i should be looking at and then started searching!! Starting from the bottom in the bushes and rocks i worked my way up until i couldnt climb any further (about 2-3m from the top), still looking in small bushes and rock crevices. I did about 10m around what gps said was GZ. SO many hides, but I was sure i checked them all! I was here for well over an hour... then decided the storm was getting worse and i didnt want my small wade on the way back to be a swim!
I was planning on going to all the caches along this area, but this took way too long. =(

We think we were close. Could see a couple of possible hides but could not get to them. Will try again. Lis and Pete
We set off for a afternoon cache. It was extremely hot weather so we were glad to be close to the ocean. It took us a while to get to the GZ as we made our way around the headland instaed of over it. Once we got there it was worth it. Excellent view, nice breeze what more can you ask for. We found the cache easily and it was in good condition. TFTC.

We were out today walking the new coastal track and decided to give this one ago from above. Not recommended! Mr H managed to descend the cliff very close to GZ (fortunately without falling like a cow). The cache was soon found and the challenge of getting back up became very apparent. No chance! No mobile phone signal either. Oh dear! So, whilst the others sat at the top waiting & waiting & waiting, Mr H was frantically running around trying to find a way back up before a search party was called out. If anyone else is ever stupid enough to get into this situation, head south and you'll come across an obvious sloping ridge that's safe enough to get back up.
Great location & a cache we'll certainly remember! Left TB, thanks,

after reading the logs, we thought that we would approach this cache from the walking track on the cliff..It would appear that this is not a suitable approach. We will try from the rock platform next time.
A rainy Sunday afternoon, so off I head to track down a cache or two. First stop - Werri, to look for where the cows may fall. First obstacle, the local surfers had decided to open the lake and surf the standing wave that forms as the lake runs to the ocean. A pleasant walk to GZ where the cache was easily found. TNLN and didn't see the coin that was listed as being here. Thanks Team Pross for getting me out today.
Could not have picked a more perfect day to find this Cache. It was good to sit back at this location and watch the power of the ocean. T Geocoin Aussie 2006 L pencil.
Up for a nice walk this morning I left early for Werri Beach.
Being here before I knew what to expect and it did take me only 20 minutes to reach GZ. I was much more lucky this time and found it quit quick at 8.05. It really is beeautiful here so I decided to extend the walk.

I was probably foolish in starting this one considering the lightning and thunder brewing. It was a bit of a walk but extremely enjoyable. Found the cache and logged leaving a Geocoin but got absolutely drenched on the way back to the geomobile. Stopped at the nearby fish and chips spot to get some hot chips to warm up dripping on their floor. An excellent adventure none the less. Thanks.
Found it on the 3rd attempt, thanks for the help Team Pross in placing the cache and helping me locate it. (Aren't mobile phones marvellous?!!) The diabetes travel bug was not in the box as far as I could see. Log only visit.
Found this after alot of wading through rock pools and walking the long way around. Nice walk though. Great views, I grew up around here so it was nice to come down and see it all again.

Cool and cloudy but an interesting walk and great location - found with friend Wendy from Picton NZ so left a NZ cow pen.
A reallly nice day for a great walk. Not many fisherman, but of course there were fisherman planted right near the cache.
Found with younggregb and Cassie the wonderdog. Cassie struggled a bit with the rocks at the start but loved running through all the rock pools along the way. And we loved checking out the starfish in the rock pools.
Enjoyed this cache! Cheers.

Found this afternoon with my wife Judy, Cassie the wonder dog and Karen and Mike (smokey88). I never knew there was such a good fishing spot so close to home. Loved the walk. TFTC Greg.
Lovely walk along the coastline today. Tide appeared to be coming in but was not a concern. Once at gz the find was easily made and the walk back enjoyed just as much. TNLN Thanks.
Great spot, easy find once reached GZ.

Stinking hot autumn day, so what better place to go for a nice walk along the sand. Was running out of time so ended up going through the pools rather than around, and the cache was soon in hand.TNLNSL. A lovely spot indeed, thanks for bringing me here. There were no falling cows today, fortunately as I didn't have my first aid kit on me. TFTC!
Great spot, and an easy find. The Krew enjoyed the rocky walk ..... we saw a majestic sea eagle tracing lazy circles in the sky, lizards, a fisherman showing us his catch (mostly drummer), but no splattered cows. Took Prado TB, sinkers and caps. Left water-pistol, wristband and koala. SL. Thanks Team Pross.
Of all the hazards we have encountered while caching we have never ever considered that we could be squashed by a falling cow.
You leave the beach behind and make your way over the rocks then you find another secret beach with extensive vistas. Then you navigate past the rock shelf with waves crashing around while fisherman stand amidst the white foam swirling up to their knees. Passing a natural rock pool that looks very inviting and if it was not for the nearby fisherman. Then you locate the cache, sign the logbook and feel satisfied having completed the journey and finding the cache. Then just as you are returning it you hear a sound from above and you look up and the last thing you see is a very large cow falling towards you.

lunch by the sea today. took advantage of the low tide and a break in the work day to go exploring . found the cache in its resting spot sighned log and left cox's cruiser tb.and wanderd back slowly. looks like an exelent fishing spot there as well.will have to get back there and check it out. thanks for the cache today TEAM PROSS
After being south for work, I decided that I had enough time to grab this cache on the way back to the office. I quickly swapped suit and tie for shorts and runners, and jogged off along the sand.
After some rock hoping the going got easier, but it was not long before the tide and high seas conspired against me. Leaving my shoes high and dry, I waded through some very dodgy water to approach the cache.
Once at GZ a nice easy find was had, and then I retraced my steps all the way back to the car.
... The boss didn't even notice that I was slightly late!

Isn't it funnny when you go somewhere and you think "I've been here before, but you cant remember the details". Well that was spot on for me today as I headed around the rocks to GZ today. It wasnt till later and after talking with the parents that they reminded me and like I was suppose to remember that some 30 years ago my parents had dragged us kids around these rocks where we'd done a spot of fishing. "Don't you remember son, thats where your mother caught a shark" and sure enough it was in that large rock crevise just near GZ that mum caught a hammerhead shark some 30 years ago.
Doing this cache today was certainly a trip down memory lane. My grandparents use to live in Willawa ave, my great aunt use to live in Pacfic ave so I thank you Team Pross for bringing me back to a place where I spent alot of my childhood.
Great spot, thanks. TNLN

Nice work! An enjoyable lunchtime walk / scramble out to a beautiful place that I will definately return to in the future. Made sure to stay on the coastal route even though it was tempting to stray on the return journey. I'm not sure if the tide is a limiting factor or not but in any case I fluked a low one. GZ was pretty close to the mark although I went way to high initially - a very silly attempt in hindsight! Saw everything mentioned by the previous finder except the mermaid ..... doh! Left TB "I'm not Nemo". Took Multi Tool
A fantastic adventure around a scenic coastline littered with flotsam, artifacts and fossils. Doing this at high tide it was necessary for us to wade through some of the secluded coves and rock pools we encountered along the way. Although we seen no rock fishermen during our visit the area looks to have a lot of potential. The cache container was full of goodies and a I'm not Nemo TB now in our possesion. A very refreshing and interesting cache TEAM PROSS and we look forward to doing more of yours in the future.

Seems like a popular spot today! Very wet feet as the tide was well and truly in, I wouldn't do this if there was a southerly as you would get washed away! A good hide.

My first FTF! Didn't see any unfortunate cows but saw several dykes, some old fossils, lizards aplenty & a mermaid in a pool. Obeyed the sign & traversed the seaward side of the cliff. Took the Sioux Surfer travel bug (which will soon be on it's way) & left a multi-tool.
