It's about time I archived this cache as the previous log suggests.

Checked this out this afternoon. The snails are still present but sadly no cache.

07-Nov-10
I think wp 2 is gone. Will check next time I'm in town.

07-Nov-10
Second attempt to locate hide - without luck. WP1 is still OK. Searched plenty of possibilities, but to no avail. Is it still here?

29-Oct-10
Found WP1, great work very clever hide. Had a few goes at the cache but no good. Think she might be gone.

03-Apr-10
More as a courtesy, the owner may want to check the new cache container and log I placed.

03-Apr-10
A very good cache! First attended this with kids in tow (on the way to the playground) but after a brief search, WP1 didn't reveal itself. I returned later by myself and had a much better look and "voila", I found WP1. Nice hide indeed. Then off the GZ. Strangely this took longer and I wasn't getting a good signal and with a few likely places in the vicinity, I searched here, there and everywhere. But found it in the end. As Team Casho said the container is in bad shape. More a snail retirement home than a geocache. I came back later with a new cache and log sheet. Tried to achieve the same sort of camo as before. Hope it works. At least now it is weatherproof. Old log placed in new cache as well.

Cache check on WP1 while in the area doing maintenance on our caches and all is good. Cache container at GZ is in place but broken and will need replacing. Did not have one camo that would work in this location, sorry.

Note to all: watch for drug paraphenalia. Am not prepared to DNF this, but WP1 has me stumped. We'll be back...

14-Nov-09
After 15 mins of lying on our backs and peering through cracks, WP1 has eluded us. Recent paint job is a little concerning given the time since last find. Any chance of a confirmation that it's still there?

06-Nov-09
Had another go at this one without success. WP1 eluded me again. Will come back another day.

02-May-09
After several failures because there were to many muggles at WP1 (all drunk) I was early enough this morning and could finish it quickly.

Found with Secretsquirrel-BJC on the Wollongong Invasion. This was a fantastic weekend of fun and sun, meeting the locals, and chasing excellent caches.

We had to put our specs on for this one. After much searching and contortionist antics we (that is SS) came up with the WP clues. The cache was just a quick step away.

932(+9=941) with Captain Tomato on the Wollongong Invasion – a wonderful sunny weekend with friendly welcoming locals, finding clever hides, near spectacular coastal views, rugged escarpment and rainforest.

Excellent wp1 – a fun multi.

Thanks penguinbob for organizing the hunt and the cache!

As the others of the McWiBiTe team have described, we did this in two stages as the first attempt was interrupted by the gentleman who settle his goods on the table only a meter away from WP1, oblivious of our personal space he was invading. Much more luck later in the dark.

Thanks penguinbob.

26-Jul-08
This cache had thwarted us earlier in the day due to the presence of an unwelcome visitor right at WP1. In the end the cache proved to be MUCH easier after dinner when there was noone around & we had the benefit of an extra hint.

1297. Of course it could have been Howard Hughes. But he did stop our search cold, with the timing of a somebody who is paid for their timing. Back in the dark after the event dinner and everything unfolded nicely.

TFTC and both looks at the library.

Wollongong invasion trip by the Canberra based McWiBiTe team.
McPhan, Winglen, BigOn, Tealby
We had a look at this as one of the first caches of the morning and had just started looking around when a homeless gentleman settled in for an extended stay right in the middle of our search zone, well wasn't that just blooming marvelous. OK abandoned for the day and onto more promising places. The team received a hint for the cache over dinner and we managed to finish this one in the evening thanks again to Tealby the Mistress of puzzles and multi's.

This was a much easier cache to find at night. No one was around so it was an simple grab Smile

Thanks.

Found by Poddy 1 good spot hard to find the way point

23-Apr-08
No find today. It was raining and Moozels bike tyre had bust at Unanderra Woolies and he had to walk all the way to the cache and back to my place.
Couldn't even see a glimps of a spot to put it.
We didn't really understand what or where WP1 was and what we were looking for.
Oh well. Thanks for the ride and the excuse to go on the skatepark near Wests.

Just as we walked to WP1 a lady who looked to be on her lunchbreak beat us to the spot - We has a squiz for a short while and then decided to go get lunch and come back - I re-read the cache notes and realised I was looking for the wrong thing - Upon our return, we found WP1 quickly.
We thought the cache was in the obvious place when we were walking towards and proceded to scour the area - It wasn't till 5 mins later when I rechecked the gizmo I realised we were still a few meters off- Bingo! there it is!
We left the Tegator jeep geocoin and geokid sampled a small dolphin.

Have thought about this one for a while being close to home and decided it would be a good one tonight to introduce a young visitor we have with us. We were a bit lucky at WP1 - starting a the right level. Thanks.

Third time lucky, was unable to search thanks to muggles at WP1 the first 2 times I had passed this way. Found WP1 after a bit of a search - I like the way it's been hidden. Then on to GZ for a quick find. Thanks penguinbob (its been a penguinbob day today!)

WP1 was very clever. For some reason it took the gizmo a little while to settle down at WP2. Once it did the cache was easily found. Took TB

What to do when there's a blackout! We took the blackout as an excuse to go out looking for a cache. Coordinates were good and we found both waypoints easy enough. Signed the log, swapped a dolphin for a coin and dropped off a travel bug - luck the container was small. Thanks penguinbob.

16-Nov-06
Well engineered WP1. The peole driving past at WP2 might have what we were doing though TFTC penguinbob.

Ahh first to find. Here I was planning to service my car on my day off and I get a call from BigMickB telling me theres a new cache just down the road. So the car missed out on an oil change and I managed a first to find. Loved the hide at WP1 , very clever.

Took Geo coin to be moved on to another place soon.

As quick as I was getting here I still wasn't quick enough to beat YoungGreg. A nice hide in the last spot I think to put a cache.
Good job Bob, or is that Ben. TNLN
