A very belated note on this event
What a great day and a terrific effort by Dan in the
preparation and organisation of this event.
We at last put faces to the many devious cachers in the
area and enjoyed the many stories in locating caches.
Thanks Dan for the great event and we would definetly
support this being and annual event.
Maski and Co
Dan, this was a great day out and just what a newcomer to Geocaching needs. Thanks for organsising it.

Thanks Dan for organising the event, it must have taken a fair bit of your time to get things set up. Great to see such a range of geocachers, from the experienced to the first timer, in attendance. Thanks also for the geocoin. Will drop off your coin in the next couple of days.
Merry Christmas.

Thanks Dan for all the organisation of the day. Thoroughly enjoyed it even though we only really found one cache before 4pm. Found a few more the next day . Great to put some faces with some of the names I've seen in caches around the country. Thanks......Lex.
The Bundys got home at ...........................1.30am Sunday, after spending the evening caching with Everlasting. Excellent day. Thanks Dan, and everyone who turned up. Mrs Bundy has now, I think, been fully converted, as she was still a tad reluctant to get into the game completely- Thanks Danielle. My count for the day, 10 out of 11 caches found, with 4 FTF's, plus one cache from a previous visit. The last one a race against Dooghan, as payback for making me climb Jim. I managed to get those TB's and coins with missions to those who could help, grabbed a few coins for myself, and discovered a heap of others. Cheers Bundy
*** 'Devils in Danger' ***
... starting another coin from this event. My little Aussie Devil TB (Australian Geocoin). Olerun's and his Alaskan Devil geocoin also made an appearance (can you distinguish me and my 'Devils in Danger' partner in the photo?).
The two Devil coins TBVVWD & TB1620V
While we wait for everyone who attended to log their discoveries ... olerun's coin will be travelling around Australia while my coin makes a long trip to Alaska to start its journey. Maybe I will make an appearance at Olerun's event in January.

I was very happy with the event and it was good to put names with faces. I had heaps of fun! I am thinking that this should be maybe an annual event maybe held in different parts of CQ.
Very big thank you to Dandent!!!
Thanks,
Deathtrip

What a great day in and around Rocky with a great bunch of cachers. Met some new guys, including a remarkable cacher travelling around on her own....well done Everlasting. Next time though, don't stay out too late with the boys.
With so much effort obviously placed into the planning for the day, i like to personally thank Dan and Kat for their hospitality and the tour of the city.
To cap off a great event, we stayed for the "Fire in the Sky" Fireworks.......just don't ever get dandent to find a carpark close to the action AND be on time for it Grabbed some LED twirly things for my son, left nothing, didn't find a log.
Thanks again guys.

Rated: for Overall Experience
Thanks for a great day Dan.
Thanks also to Mrs Bundyrumandcoke for jumping in the car with me and helping me navigate around Rockhampton to find all the caches (except one).
Dan you showed a really 'big heart' to organise the day and give away all the coins that you did to those that came along.
I enjoyed the day so much that after we all came back together at 4pm I jumped back in the car to continue my cache search.
At the end of my day (which was very late at night) I had a smile from ear to ear thinking about all the fun and lovely places I visited on my hunt.

WHAT A GREAT DAY!!!!
Got to thank Dan for setting up this great event. This event was well attended with 10 other teams turning up. I didn't think there was that many teams in the Central Queensland area. Got have a good chat to a number of teams before heading off to beta test 11 caches that Dan had set up. Found a few bugs in a number of then which we let Dan know about when we got back together at 4pm. The bugs where part of the fun of finding them.
Thanks again Dan and the other teams for a great day.

dropping another coin that is part of a geocaching game.
Hopefully his owner will make an appearance at the event as well...
So all is finally ready...11 new caches (if they all get approved) and just about everyone has a unique unactivated coin to grab.
I know it is a late post - but I also forgot to mention that we should assemble at the facilities north of the Tourist info centre ... hopefully we should be able to find one another.
cheers

Well, it's snowing here in Anchorage (Alaska, USA). We have about 6 inches so far and it's not going to let up any time soon.
I will be thinking of you guys as I am out shoveling the snow out of the driveway.
So I really wish I was there - Oleruns

My partner and I will be there. Don't know how long though as I have negiotated a deal to go xmas shopping if we make the trip from Emerald/Biloela to attend
A couple of more trackables attending. And will be collecting 2 more T/B's on the way.
We will be there and maybe if the bribes are sufficient we will give a few clues on how to find Alexandra
I have make my mind this morning, I will be there. Drop two geocoins.Cheers Danielle.
I have scored a couple of coins and a TB from Everlasting, which will come up on Saturday. The TB has come from the states, and its primary goal is to travel to Great Keppel, so its getting closer.
Have a GREAT event!

Mrs Bundy and I will be there with bells on. Possibly also a geodaughter or 2. It might also be a good time to polish off Alexandra for a couple of us.
