A "week or so" might be a long time in politics, but it's not supposed to be quite this long in geocache maintenance!
Can you either post a note with your maintenance plans or archive this by next weekend, please?

Yet again this cache has been muggled.....found no remains....will work on something that might be a little harder to find but hopefully muggle proof....will be up and running in the next week or so [:S]
Found all the clues and the area of GZ - but did not find the cache. What a lovely place however it was getting dark so will come back next time we are up this way. Thanks.
Yay! Finally found, thanks to additional hint. Had to use geo-sprog to climb up, as my arm just wasn't long enough. Took toothpick flags, left craft punch.
Thank you muchly for the fun hunt!
Thank you muchly for the fun hunt!
Found it, but it was a bit of a puzzle working it all out. The Additional Hint was very very helpful. A good cache and a bit of fun. Took $100 note fridge magnet and left Cairns Taipans keyring.
[Found the start point with ease. GPS works well. That's where the easy stuff stopped. Wondered around the lakes in the wrong direcion before eventually finding the bouncy tree. From there was able to complete the task although it took a while to observed the correct biggest rock. Search GZ 3 times before I finally found the cache. Great spot. I haven't been here for about 20 years and didn't realise how big it was. Took a car key ring. Left Lanyard. TFTC. SL.] Make sure you get up as high as you can without actually climbing the tree and then feel around where you cannot see. Lake side is a good start.
Wandered around scratching our heads for a while as the GPS wouldn't work. Finally got it going, found startpoint, and completed most of the riddle, sans the bouncy tree. Found the right specimin of tree and it seemed to fit the riddle...but couldn't find the cache. Drat.
Cache hidden at a beautiful specimen to celebrate a beautiful lady's 1000th cache. Well done. We thoroughly enjoyed the area and doing this mystery cache. Took travel bug. Thanks trishtrish35
Did quite a bit of wandering around the park before bothering to look properly at the riddle. After finally finding the first step of the riddle, managed to solve the rest without too much difficulty. A fantastic place with some wonderful trees to admire. Took: alcohol wipes, Left: car keyring, Hogwild micro geocoin
Finally a day when there was no muggle activity. Have been here three times now and every time some muggle was at ground zero and to make it even better I found the old cache container in the lily pond. TNLN
Found easy enough after following the riddle, took along a muggle friend Lindy who found the hunt most enjoyable.
Thanks trishtrish35.

Well found the start postion easy enough and then switched the GPS off and followed the riddle which we didn't have any real problems with. Got to the end of the riddle and after searching high and low couldn't find it anywhere. I hope its still around somewhere and we were just looking in the wrong spots.
We had a bit of trouble figuring out the riddle with regard to the grate, but we still located GZ and the cache. SL TFTC
Found this one more by luck that solving the riddle. I was expecting a much larger container, I'd say the cache one
was 'small'
Cache is in good condition.

Have replaced the cache....its a smaller container but still possible to do small swaps or geocoins...happy hunting....the clues still work fine too
When we finally got the right park with the right bouncy tree, and took the clues we found the cache.
Unfortunately it has been MUGGLED!! Found remainder of cache (lid and geocaching rules) under GZ. Could not locate log or any other item.

Just getting to log this visit on our return home from up north. Upsetting to see that the cache had been muggled, wish now that I had taken the other geocoin as well.
Took a bit of finding but got there in the end. Took European Union coin and Young Farm Boy t/b. No swaps. TFTC.

My second cache find - clues a bit confusing. The biggest rock now visible after prunung is in the opposite direction!
Okay maybe instead of just putting the co-ord in the the gps, i should actually take the clues. I might have better luck!
Great treasure hunt. Great hiding place. Didn't have a GPS but found the 1000 post. Eventually found the "bouncy" tree. At last found the cache (5 pm). Not so sure about the "grate". Brilliant day for it. Took penny, left "Cartridge World" pen. Thanks for the site.
I say someone stole the Bouncy Tree....that's my story and i'm sticking to it [^]
This is a favourite park of mine, as we normally have lunch here when we are in town....relaxing under the shade. Mozzies are still around this time due to the recent flooding.
Will be back when my brain kicks into gear....should be sometime around 2010.

Another park never been to before - love cryptic clues. Left Young Farm Boy TB and Coin. Took- Penny and Flag
Littlants and Gregpeg finally found the cache! Interesting the coords send you to the start of the clues. Took the geocoin and left a keyring. Thanks for the hunt!
Searched with the littleants. Don't think I would have found it without the encrypted clues. Good hunt.
Could not use riddle to solve this one, left it safely at home.
Resorted to the brute force method remembering something about a bouncy tree, success came at the last tree in the area that resembled the clue.
Left a few pennies and took a bouncy ball.
Dave.

[Again we enjoyed working our way through the riddle. We found the starting post coordinates to be spot on. We actually found two candidates for the bouncing tree.] It is the variegated one that appears to fit in best with the riddle.
[SL. Left Ev's Triangle Geocoin. Thanks for a fun cache in another nice Townsville park.]

Bouncing tree?? The wind was blowing 30Kts - everything was bouncing!! Found the cache after following the clues and reading comments about TrishTrish's particular fetish for a particular type of tree.
Took candle, left water pistol SL TFTC.

Isn't this a lovely park. We love the riddle and after finding the "bouncy tree" it was clear sailing. Well done Everlasting. Coming back this way to do our evening walk.TNLN.

Found this one after a search in the wrong area of the park. Once I decided to look outside the gps I found the cache, with the gps telling us we were over 100 metres away.
After we signed the log I noticed that the co-ords logged on the net and those written on the cache and on the cover of the log are not the same. Once I changed the co-ords to those on the cache it put us only metres away.
Nice park though TFTC

Left koala, wire puzzle and our wooden coin
