I suspect that what people have been finding and signing is not the actual cache and as there has been no maintenance of the listing and no indication of whether there actually has been a cache returned to GZ I am disabling it.

Found, magic finding spots on rotto we haven't seen before after coming here for years
Worked out a set of coordinates (using the "turbine shortcut") and they matched up with the location suggested by the hints. The closest thing we could find at GZ were a rock and a half brick in the undergrowth, under which was a, wait for it …. empty beer bottle with a stick inside. At least we got to clear away some litter.
Maybe we will have another search before our holiday is over but, I have to say, if Chwiliwr thinks it is missing then it almost certainly is.

You need to fix up this cache.
It wasn't anywhere to be seen today and some of the initial waypoints need to be fixed to restore it to real multi cache as the RIA is doing quite a lot of work around the place changing things.

Found the log book but the cache was nowhere to be seen. There were no clues here so dead end.
Disappointed!
Disappointed!
Was out on the island doing some other caches and got to the last waypoint and can confirm there is no information to use to find the final anymore so this will have to be fixed up as it is now unfindable.
We started this one too late in the day so had to abandon it and go find some eay ones instead. We will be back on the island soon to tackle it again.
Of course this is the last cache I look at after three visits to the island. I have already been to all this places except one, some of them today! Luckily I could skip 3 WPs and got it done without back tracking too much. TFTC
Found @1753 #2611
Over from Melbourne on a holiday and visiting Rottnest Island was a key attraction which I have been really looking forward too. Came over on the Rottnest express and hire a bike so to cache and explore around the island. Some stunning views and coast line which reminded me of pictures seen of the Greek Islands. The weather was about 30 but was overcast at times and there was a light breeze so was ideal weather to travel around the island, picking up caches along the way.
Been working on this one all day and got to WP3 but could not find the mark, maybe I miss-calculated...? Later that day was back at the bakery when I look at the following way points and found that WP5 was solvable so with this info headed off and found the final information required for GZ, yay! Seen some great views and spots today around the island and once at GZ this evening a brief search finally had cache in hand. The log book was soaked thru and should be replaced. Sign some note paper and left a few extra sheets too, A fun multi which am pleased I was able to finish in around about way. TFTC Dr Doc

We are just new at this and it nearly beat us but we found it -yay!! Great time riding around the island.
Great ride with the family, good warm up trek for our normal round the island run. TFTC. Many other GCs on the the path of this one so if you are wanting to kill two birds with one stone have all of the Rotto caches in your GPS
Out with Everlasting and FelixII on a weekend trip to Rotto and had a dumb moment at waypoint 1 with putting the numbers in sequence. Having ridden halfway around the island the day before I found out my legs were turning to jelly and was tail end charlie for most of the ride. Rottnest is a wonderfull place and you led us to a lot of them. As usual in the last two days I was off track and Mr Felix found again.

With Amstradkid and FelixII... Another good fun bicycle in the rottnest island... I want come back to Rottnest Island due to plenty to see more history (worth visit museum - very important)... Thanks Dr Doc for organising the Multi and hunt. [^] [^] [^]
Enjoyed our stay on the island last night with Everlasting. This morning AmstradKid joined us on a mega day cycling all over the island. (n.b. caches were all in good condition but we put some new snap locks at some and a spare log at others to save CO's dashing back)
Well after cycling all over the island yesterday, now we had to do it all over again today.
Took way too long to work out the code at WPT1. Maybe that had something to do with being awake all night?

Found with BlaKids on our penultimate day on Rottnest. It was worth the ride and was satisfying when we found it. TFTC
It was good to have plenty of time to explore. Had to wait for the cool of afternoon as it was surprisingly hot today. Visited some lovely spots. Found with LouBla. TFTC.
Deduced final coords with help of previous finder and replaced with black sistema...thanks Dr Doc
As Mickeydv mentioned, with the kind help of Harmen11 and his sister, we were able to locate the correct GZ and replace the cache after the Rotto swim. The WPs take you to some interesting locations, so for those with time, this cache should now provide a successful end point. Thanks for the help Harmen11.
Enjoyed solving all the puzzles, only to not find the cache at the end. two obvious trees to look under, with one looking very much like it should have the cache hidden there. I'd be very interested as to which tree Southern Boomers found it under.
Found this by accident. I had not set out to find this or in fact any on Rottnest as I left my GPS at home as this was a school trip. As we were wondering around, looking at the different tourist spots I said to one of the young chaps with me that down at the base of the tree it looked like a geocache. And surprise, surprise it was. I did not follow the clues and as it was rather exposed I thought that it may have been moved by a muggle and placed at another location. Maybe worth being checked as the last member to log couldn't find it.
Cache has been muggled and is definately not there. Went to drop off some "treasue " but no cache in place.
My sister and I started out to find this one first thing in the morning. I was a lovely ride with fantastic views. We also enjoyed seeing lots of wildlife along the way - we made some cute quokka friends!
I attempted this one a couple of years ago but my friends got bored of geocaching at WP4.
This time I came back to finish this!
I had lost all my old waypoints so I started again with my Dad and not with my friends.
It was on and off raining but we got every waypoint.
The final coordinates were hard due to the grafitti is quite hard to understand. Thank god the hint made it easier to find.
There was a kid cycling around where the cache was and we thought he might come and look after we left so we staked out and waited but he never went for it.
TFTC it was very fun cycling around and looking at Rottnest.

We made this a bit difficult for ourselves but we got there in the end Thanks Dr Doc for this nice multi. TFTH
Great little trip. I like the survey disc in it. Explaining to the kids - "Back when GPS didn't exist......" Thanks
We loved this but made hard work of it. We seemed to go round in circles mainly because we did detours to other caches. Then the codemaster made not one but two errors which were only discovered when we reached non-GZs. Oh Dear! Finally made it back to where we had already visited. Loved the lookout points and let GOLizard meet a bobtail in the wild.Left a teddy, and an eraser. TN.
Lovely long cache which had us going a bit. Our 5th cache in Oz on our visit here from South Africa. Did the cache and our others with our friends Fairway Drivers.
Picked up G.O. Lizard.
Picked up G.O. Lizard.
Started this yesterday as one of seven people; only three of us made it to GZ this morning. The quokkas were ferocious and claimed many lives.
Not sure if it's the local muggle, quokka, peacock or perhaps dugite populations that scratched away the camo, but this was an extremely easy find at GZ. I think the cache could do with a better hiding place as it was clearly visible from a nearby vantage point.
Otherwise, a great tour through Rotto. TFTC, TNLN.

Perth 10.17. This cache took me to several interesting places over the island. I did the first few waypoints on y morning rise to the other end of the Island. After a butt restoring lunch break I headed out to do the second half of this one. Despite the awkward maths along the way I only let myself be misdirected once. The word was not as expected. GZ was a bit brazen, but it seems to be a reasonable spot. Thanks.

We picked a beautiful weekend for our visit to Rottnest with Richlink and thoroughly enjoyed doing this cache. Took gc and left gc. Thanks Dr Doc
Its been twelve years since our last visit to Rottnest so was keen to renew our aquaintance when Liz & Bruce suggested a weekend trip. We did this enjoyable multi in conjunction with the other seven caches on the island.

Found WPs in conjunction with several other caches on a most enjoyable tour of this island - first vist in many years, and many changes during that time. Cache was well hidden in a suspicious pile of sticks. WWFM GC made a quick flash on the island, too. Thanks for the tour Dr Doc.
Nice ride around this section of the island. While you can 'short cut' the cache i'm not sure why you would. The final cache was very exposed when I got there. TNLN SL put a whole lot more 'camo' on the cache. TFTH
Brought the cadets over for the weekend and did some hunting with the ever enthusists. Nice easy find, especially with six spare eyes much younger and full of more energy than mine.

We visited Rottnest on our holidays in Australia (we're Dutch). We enjoyed doing this cache with friends (hwodv) from Perth while siteseeing the island.
Found this great cache when cycling the island with our rowing-mates and geo-friends M&M's on a very nice and enjoyable day. "Zo zie je nog eens iets"
Thanks, hwodv - NL

Thanks for a great multi - made a nice day trip by bike & gave the brain a workout too. Nearly gave up on the cache and then once I moved my attention from the most obvious to the one the GPS really was directing me to ....bingo.
A great little multi with lots of points of interest. We headed up to GZ only to find the cache sitting in the open. It had been found by some mugglets playing hide and seek some time ago. They left some items including Dad's business card and signed the log book. We replaced the container where we believe it should have been. Swapped a puzzle for a carabiner. TFTC
Thanks for this great multi.
We enjoyed our bike daytrip on this awesome island.
Found the final and logged it just before we had to bring back our bikes.

First heard about Rottnest from a friend so when I planned my trip to Australia from the UK I mentioned to my friends melliemouse and justoid that I had plans to visit here while I was in Perth. They were great and arranged the whole trip - including renting bikes. We had a great cycle around the island ... although I didn't enjoy falling off my bike at one stage and spraining my ankle! I even met a few friendly quokkas along the way which took my mind off my ankle for a while.
Left a Scotland pin.

Great day out at Rotto. Haven't been here for 8 years (living in the UK now). Took the wife and we snorkled around the basin. Took "Pinky" TB and Key ring. Left Esplanade Room Key. T4TC and hunt around rotto.
It was fun chasing the clues for this cache. A great workout. Took: Signal GC, Left Cat TB.
Enjoyed the hunt for this one and finally tracked it down in a great location that was easily accessible and not too obvious for muggles. Just needed to beware of the daily congregation of muggles nearby.
Dropped off the 'What Would Signal Do?' geocoin. My kids took the fishing lightstick and loved it - worked for two days/nights!

Oh man. This Multi almost drove us mad! We found WP 1 no problem, found WP 2 no problem, got to where we were 90% sure was WP 3, but we could find no surveyors disk We thought about trying to use the rest of the clues to finish off some how, but we were over it
Very windy day to ride on the south side of the island. Enjoyed the clues, but had some problem with stage 2 until I read the clue carefully. Enjoyed the views and the trip.

Did this one over two days, I had no problems working out all the clues, except something went astray on the last and I had GZ about 400mtr's offshore. Unfortunately I had to resort to the hint (DAMN), took advice (stealth required) hence the late hour. Whilst filling out log I was being harrassed by an angry/cheeky quokka I'm not sure which, he kept walking around me beating his tale on the ground, maybe it was some sort of mating ritual if it was he was very disappointed.
Took Badge
Left Luminous fishing lure

I found the 2 first WPs, but lost the track on 3rd. Coords seemed to be pointing some 12 meters to the wetter side of shoreline. Alarmed seagulls and nearby sunbathers kept me from looking closer, so I worked my way around WP3 & was soon back on track. From that on it was an easy stroll. Cache wasn't particularly camoed and I tried to hide it a bit better, but considering the location it wasn't easy. I didn't dare to place travellers in the box since it seemed so vulnerable.
This was my third Geocache ever. Found it with my new Geocaching buddy MaSl. Good to see Bionicle Man's travel bug heading for the Netherlands. Not sure if it will make it to Carolina by the end of 2008 but who knows!
Having cycled all over the island for swimming and geocaching we skipped a bit and started of at the windturbine. Great fun to see Halfamo take the "as the crows fly" approach climbing cliffs!
I gradually pieced together the stages of the cache during a weeks stay on Rottnest. Glad to find the final location so easily. T:Starfish GC, L: Travelling Gas can GC. TFTH.
Black Swans found today... great hunt, great way to see Rotto even though we've been before!

Had a go at this one on our day trip to Rottnest on Easter Monday. Our friends were keen to have a try at a multi cache that required some thinking! Boy - what a trek. No bikes - only shanks pony to utilise today (plus the bus whenever we could!!). Took short cuts (yeah, right....) thru scrub to get from one to another. Two families (4 adults and 4 kids) made a long trail of hikers!! A great way to see the island. Unfortunately, time was short and in the end it was a toss up between going to the final waypoint (still a bit of a hike) or heading for the Quokka Arms for a refreshing beer or two before boarding the ferry home - and the beer won!!!!! So - until next time - at least we've done all the hard work. Thanks to Dr Doc for the opportunity to show our friends all about caching in a fun way.
Visiting from Toronto - second day on the island. Really enjoyed this cache - took screwdriver and left Ontario pin. SL. Many thanks
Thanks to Dak's Emu Mob this cache is back with a new cache full of goodies.
Only problem is i can't seem to get the out of action line of the listing

We tried unsuccesfully to unravel this one last night after a few cold beverages. However this morning everything seemed much easier. Will post photo once I get home and download all the holiday snaps.
Cheers.
Cheers.
Hoojar summed most of it up- tackled the first couple of WPs in the evening and came unstuck but another attempt in the morning had us at the location of where the cache was- will post the photo shortly.
#4 of 6 finds with Emu-M on the Rottnest day of our Perth holiday. We "found" this one at 1550. I was coming to Rottnest Island. This cache was disabled. I didn't want to leave an unfound cache behind (although I failed to find "Paddington's Quokka magazine", as it turned out ). I contacted Dr Doc, and offered to replace the cache. The good doctor agreed, and left it to me to select a location that might last longer than the original one. We went through the motions up to WP5, but had run out of time, and had to get to the ferry. The hint gave the general location, so I selected a traditional hiding place, and recorded the new coordinates. By the time the cache is reactivated, the formula will match the new final coordinates. I made no exchange. Thanks to Dr Doc for the cache. Cheers, dak.
Final geocache has been lifted by Muggles. Feel free to do the multi-cache and treat the final cache as a virtual cache. I will have to move the final cache further away from Muggledom.
What a great puzzle!
On Rottnest staying with muggles who we managed to persuade to come on this treasure hunt. We had a great ride around some of the island and after a few wrong deciphers and turns came to the spot where the cache must have been but alas nothing . Even after the 7 pairs of eyes I had enlisted searched high and low we had to conclude it is no more!
Thanks though for a great hunt

We had to cheat a bit on this one, because the html export didn't seem to download the details of each stage for some reason, and we didn't have the secondary waypoints in the GPSr either. So the code at waypoint one didn't make much sense to us when we got there!
We checked the encrypted clue and thought we'd have a look anyway, after completing a circuit of the main part of the island by bike.
And guess what, we came up trumps. Took one of the scratchies (no winnings unfortunately) and left a FTF geopin.
Sorry we couldn't complete all the stages - although we probably visited them by bike in our travels anyway.
