Logs
Spent the day mostly looking for older caches. Just logging this one I finally got the name. Nice well preserved maintained in a small gem of a park. Thanks for the cache and
Heading in a SW cleaning up some oldies has been enjoyable this morning. Thankyou for another well maintained cache. Each area brings new scenery and surprises but the caches are always well placed.
This was a nice suburban park. I did take a look at my oldies list, and saw that this geocache was within my vicinity, so it was a targeted stop today. Aside, it feels like that the majority of the older geocaches are under the ownership of [Crew 153](https://coord.info/PRPH14), so I did think whether it would be easier to just target all of the CO's geocaches.
After arriving at GZ, the cache was found reasonably quickly. The cache container and logbook were in good shape (logbook slightly damp, but still ok). It also looks like someone has gone silly with silly spaghetti in this container. Thanks [Crew 153](https://coord.info/PRPH14) for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance. It was nice to have found this oldie 12/2006 hidden cache, of which is one of Queensland's 500 oldest yet active geocaches.
----------
Today with an early morning start, I commenced with a hike in the southern area of Flinders-Goolman Conservation Park. Three targeted summits from Mt Elliott Road were ascended, and it was a mixture of steep terrain, lantana and other spiky vegetation, and a few rock scrambles; a tough walk, but also enjoyable under perfect hiking weather that wasn't too hot.
Following the walk, I started to make my way towards home, stopping in Redbank Plains, and a few areas in Springfield and Brookwater. In addition, I walked around the new Brisbane Lions' new training ground at Springfield Central Stadium / Brighton Homes Arena, and finally stopped and made a circuit of Spring Lake in Springfield Lakes.
I was able to participate in / complete three Adventure Labs during my outing today:
• [Brisbane Lions in Springfield](https://labs.geocaching.com/goto/52ec5b27-1076-4417-a161-3e53fd947ca4);

Found it with my family on a lovely afternoon. It’s a creative place to hide a cache. TFTC!
I have been wanting to do a walk around Opossum Creek Parkland for a while and when the rain finally cleared this morning, I knew it would be a lovely walking day. Popped in here on my way to the parkland. Everything is kept so beautiful by the developers while they are selling it. I wonder what all this will look like in a few more years? Quick and easy find here. TFTC!

I wanted to grab a couple of caches today but after a migraine last night, wasn’t feeling up to huge amounts of anything today. Fangsoki badly wanted an earthcache in Ipswich, so it was decided that we would head out this way for an hour or two, grab the earthcache, and then an oldie or two that I wanted.
My second target old cache, we parked the car and I leapt out and made a quick dash to a very likely spot at GZ, where it only took moments of Eva he to be in hand and log signed.
Not a soul around here today, I made my way quickly back to the awaiting Fangsoki.
Thanks for the cache Crew 153.

An early morning drive out to Springfield; saw Peppa and myself in the area looking for a FTF. We acquired the find there and then sat for a chat. It was then I saw a few other caches in the area that I could spend some time grabbing before it got to hot again. Peppa had cleaned out this area already so it was just me.
OH an oldie and in a park. I parked up and walked over to an easy find here, although the hint did give a direction to look in. A nice hide, I signed the log and then replaced all as found. Thanks for the hide here, all good with this one.

A trip to Perth checking out some of the awesome places along the way in ACT, NSW, Qld and NT. Grabbing some old caches and missing LGAs. TFTC.
Nice quick find. What are those bush turkey type birds. Trying to scare me away.

TFTH there is no container and everything is wet but a lovely spot all the same. Not able to sign.
Found it, and as others have mentioned, it's without a case. Not sure if this was a swappable from it?
Found it but just the notebook itself… it needs a container and a new notebook it’s soaked. Good hiding spot though
Tftc. Found but its not in its container any more and the notes pad is ruined, needs mtce. But otherwise a fun little spot!
First one I tried to find, I think I found it, a little notepad, but it's too weather damaged now to write on.
Caching today with RoddyC imbunda snickersallan echocahe1and GS1947 in the Springfield area.

Out down south today, we were heading to the bush nearby to walk some trails. We took a short detour here, to discover an area which is new for us. On the way to GZ, in the car, we passed what look like a lovely golf course, and fairly soon the name of this Geocache made total sense.
Thanks Crew153

Took us 15 minutes cause we went during the night. Almost went home but took one last chance. Good find
With the threat of rain I stayed close to the cat today, targeting some Ipswich caches.
This must have been one of my quickest finds today
Thank you for hiding this geocache Crew 153

I imagine that over almost 15 years, this area has changed a bit... I don’t recall the promotional material, but that could explain the unusual feature I spotted on the drive in...
Thanks Crew153 for bringing me here today...
