After 110 finds it seems that the garden has been remembered.
Council workers have moved through and cleaned the place up, cut down a lot of trees and mulched the whole place.
I searched in vain for any sign of the cache. I found what I think was the steps it was beside but could not find the container.
I'm sure that the owners of the nearby residences would not be too happy to be exposed to the noise and sight of the traffic which they had been shielded from.
RIP to all the memories that still lingered in the Forgotten garden. I will keep a watch on the area and see if I can put another cache here after all the work has been completed.

Found today with grandson, Alex. Sad to see the dead bodies of computers and such lying around - it would need a small truck to clean up the area.
Isn't it lovely to see that Council makes good use of the land which it resumes?!
I enjoyed exploring the garden.

Found it in the fading light... wish I had taken my torch but could not be bothered going back to the car. Nice cache, interesting spot. Did not take a pen and there wasnt one in the cache, so did not write in the book. TNLN. TFTC. Phil.
Kudos Crew 153 for finding this spot. Very interesting indeed. Also very eerie sort of a feeling about this place, just because it was once a garden. Pulled out a few weeds like a nice guy too. Also removed a lot of spiderwebs with my face too TFTC
The description of this one sounded interesting and got me curious so just had to check it out. I must have been past this spot hundreds of times and had no idea. I was completely unaware that any houses used to be along this stretch of road. It was amazing to see the remnants where someones front yard used to be. We had a couple of false starts and then we looked in the most obvious spot. Sure enough there it was. No swaps done, TFTC
The description of this one got me curious so just had to check it out. I must have been past this spot hundreds of times and had no idea of this reminder of the past tucked away just inside the treeline. Seeing the remains of the path and some of the plants from the garden still growing created quite a feeling of melancholy. However, that did not last long as there was a cache to be found! We had a couple of false starts and then did what we should have done first and looked in the obvious place Sure enough there it was, snug in it's hiding spot. Container is quite full but there was room for me to leave the "Survivors" TB to continue it's journey. Cache is in good condition and contents are nice and dry. TFTC
Somebody once loved this area, possibly several somebodies as there seems to be a few gardens grown together. Sad really.

Drove around the block because I saw the parking sign too late to stop. Surprised to see the area once inside the tree line. [^] Took baby toy left growing dinosaur. TFTC
Found whilst dropping Agent B home. Rounded out a good days caching.
Garden would be nice done up.
Log signed and returned to its resting place.

This one was quite difficult due to there were dozens of people. Finally after there was a break of traffic and no muggles around geoson retreived the cache TFTC
I suppose it would be easy to forget now that it is completely hidden away. Some lovely plants and paths throughout. Dropped in Scooby Team's Misguided geocoin. TFTC
Found by Mary & David at 1635. The poor old garden is being taken over by the jungle. Quite cool and soggy in there after all the rain. Our thanks again to Crew 153.
Great hidden garden and Geokid 2 loved the hugh seed pods we found. Pulled a couple of weeds out as we went. If you park on the back street no one on the mian road can even see you.

Nice hide - a little temple-of-doomy, though. Alas, I think this place is beyond a little light gardening. 3 of 7 today! TFTC
Found in the company of Ms Wig.... interresting little garden. Thanks Crew 153.

entered via the long way, then found the easy way once in there. i wonder if we collect all the car parts would we almost have a complete car
Almost forgot this one. Not really. There is a much better parking spot than where I chose. The cache was in plain sight when I got there so it was pretty easy. Rehid with a bit more coverage.

Yeah! First and only interstate cache! So far, at any rate. The only bad thing about coming to Brisbane was the lack of DST, and the fact the sun therefore sets at 6:30.
Interesting place, and excellent clue.
And, my 10th Geocache!

had heaps of fun today

found fairly quickly for me en route to a meeting just up the road - no time for weeding alas. cheers
Found it on a rather damp day. Still in good condition after so many years. Left some little pens. Our 3rd find.
Thinking back I can remember when the main route to Southport from our house was via Coopers Plains and Sunnybank, but can't remember the road being anywhere but the present position. I must be too young to remember (or too old to remember) it!
No swaps today. TFTC.

Was out in the general area on a shopping expedition with the GeoFamily. GeoToddler had a great time running all over the place - this is a fantastic little spot hidden in the middle of suburbia.
GeoToddler took a doll in a pink helmet. I left a mini LED flashlight, SL. TFTC

I forgot to take my gardening equipment so didn't attack the weeds that have taken over what was obviously a lovely garden at one time. The cache was easy to find because it was sitting out in the open. Signed the log and gave the cache some extra covering.
Thanks for the cache.

GPS took me to the right area, found it in a few minutes... A nice little garden indeed - a few mozzies though.
Took Roroa TB, left Russian Ruble and pencil sharpener.

GPS ensured this one eluded me for a while. I left the clue in the Gunniemobile and figured as a regular, it should be a quick find. Poor satlock put me nowhere near the cache so in the end, I headed back to the car for the clue. Ignoring the GPS and using only the clue, I strolled back into the garden and picked the container from its hidy hole.... DOH... Why do I make it so hard for myself???
Took 2 x TBs

Visiting from Sydney and working at Murdoch Uni, this was about the closest normal cache to where I was staying. And I had a couple of TBs with me from a sudden work trip to Perth last week.
So it was a quick detour on the way from the motel to the bottle shop for a fairly easy find despite the poor satlock in the area. No swaps, left 2 TBs. Thanks Crew 153.

After my 1st find for the afternoon i decided to leg it to the next closest cache, I ended up walking to the spot for a nearby mystery cache but having not the time or the resources to do mystery caches I decided to give it a miss. What a waste of time that was then I decided to walk back towards my temporary abode but there's this one a little further north, Oh alright just quickly! got to top of the hill and decided to turn back it's just too much today on foot!
So from there I walked back down the hill past the abode and continued on my way to this fine cache. Arriving at GZ I had good satelites and after a short hunt I found what I'd come for. Nice spot here glad I mad the walk here after all, I took some rubbish out and dropped it in a nearby bus bay bin on the way out. Dropped another diabetes TB took nothing out, the contents are all quite dry but the log book bag is ripped, I'd usually replace this for the owner but have recently run out. So it needs a little maintenance! Not sure but I suspect I've walked about 10 k's this arvo think that should do me for a while! If I'm here again tomorrow on work I'll borrow the car thanks for the caches

Quiet in the garden today, but busy out on the road, thes sort of places set the mind wondering what it was all like a few years ago, it would be interesting to know how long since the house was removed. No time to stop for weeding today, hech I don't get time to do the gardens at home, maybe once I have found all the caches.
Found at 9.51am. This was obviously someone's lovely garden as there are still many nice plants around. Pity the middle of it is full of computer parts and bumper bars and other rubbish that's been dumped. TNLN TFTC
Popped in on my way home from work, I had to play hide & seek with the council mower man!
Too late for gentle weeding, I wish I had my chainsaw with me!

Right on sun set, so harder to find.. but during daylight, it would be easy. Took shell, left key tag & travel bug

Didn't have time for any gardening today, but had a garbage bag on board so removed a heap of rubbish. Unfortunately, it barely made a dent. TFTH
In Brisbane on business for a couple of days and couldn't resist an interstate cache or two. Found at 4:10 PM. Had nothing with me except GPS, so took nothing and left nothing. Signed log.

Another one in the area that we had to drive around to find a safe parking spot, you do get to see more of a suburb being a Geocacher. Left some marbles, a great hide, TFTC
First cache to start the day. Had to search a while before retrieving the goods.

Second find of the night and ever. Didn't take long to find it, would have been easier in the day light !! Isn't it amazing what we drive, walk or cylce past every day and never even see. I have been past this location 100s of times in my life, by car, foot and cycle, and never realised it is more then just a piece of scrub beside the road. TFTC

Found with Captain Tomato and Rorus. Certainly forgotten!! Would have driven by this many times totally unaware! TFTC
Found with tic toc and Rorus.
A nice pleasant walk from where we managed to park, then a bit of a scramble through the 'garden'. Got very lucky in amongst the vegetation and practically walked right up to the cache and saw it straight away. TFTC

Parked in the wrong place, but got there in the end. When I saw the bumper bar and the computer I knew I was close, but still had to go deeper into the bushes to find the cache. Took nothing, but left some stickers. Thanks Crew 153 FTC.
Isn't progress wonderful. All these little bits of green for people to dump their unwanted cars, TV's and computer bits. TFTC
Looks like I was following the Piggies ...
Must have approached from the wrong side - there were no steps? TFTC

It is a nice spot. Sure looks like over the years someone has put a fair bit of effort in. I wonder if it was effectively a plot rather than an old front garden
Ah-ha. It all makes sense when you get there. Nice bit of bush. Not often you can park 20m from the cache.
8th find of the day. Never trust map source, never ever (blindly anyway) . Recieved some odd looks from the oldies in the near by retirement village as we purused their streets in our endevour to get close to the GZ. Thankfully a reasonably quick find in the first place I looked. TNLNSL. TFTC.
#8 of 10 finds on a pleasant night in Brisbane, in which 90% of the finds were on Crew 153 caches (thanks Max ). I found this one at 2325. A strange place that I couldn't properly appreciate at night. I made no exchange. Thanks to Crew 153 for the cache. Cheers, dak.
I couldn't find gone bananas so I thought I'd take a break and come here, this was obviously someones pride and joy once a real shame, Took nothing left a biro, TFTC I'm going bananas again
The area is looking a bit sad and I soon found the cache in the first place that I was going to look (bit didn't)! Thanks Crew 153.
Nice Cache, eventually when I found it. My GPS had me going all over the place. Shame about the garden but you can tell where all the rubbish comes from?

Forgotten and neglected. I searhed around for a while before spotting the exposed cache. Covered over with intended item and swept up some leaves. TFTC
Find 33 of 33 caches today
This was our final find of the day. After a walk on from "Gone Banana's" and crossing four lanes of traffic we looked a little goofy carrying torches at this time of the night to cross the road!!
Found the nearby log quickly and had cache in hand, being 6:30pm at night it was hard to admire the once nice front garden. Cache in hand we quickly signed the log before the bugs took hold and we then headed back to the car to celebrate our 33 finds for the day with not a single DNF!!!
Thanks for the cache.
