The wee green doggy had to shift a bit so some fencing work could be done in the area. The doggy will no longer be located at or near the current location from July 14th.
Due to the above the cache has been removed and can be collected from the Ranger Station.

Finally in the area and the beach is not swarming with people. Knew where to go from previous attempt and came up with a quick find at GZ.

Found the item which gives the cache it's name. Moved a lot of sand but did not find the cache. Was starting to worry that we were doing some environmental damage. Groups of muggles discouraged me as they may have been wondering what on earth I was doing. I note that it's been a while since a find was recorded. Still it was a nice place to visit.
Nice and easy to find. We looked blankly around looking at scenery while Glyn (the only one) covertly scratched around for it.
Don't think a soul took any notice.

Lotza folks around today as its the first good fine day this spring that falls on the weekend.Used Sqizzle & co. as cover to get the cache, away to sign & then back behind them to replace ! Worked well. TNLNSL---thanks !---Cache dry & well stocked & in good condition.
Have been watching this cache closely over past week due to the very high tides and winter storms. Whilst I don't think it will be swept out to sea it has been buried by sand three times this winter so if for some reason I haven't been walking my dogs and it has been a bit stormy follow the clue and be prepared to move some sand around
An easy find for our first Geo Cache, although walking the dogs at the same time was probably not our greatest idea (Mastiff puppies!) so not as easy to stay inconspicuous!

Like the concept of the wee green doggies through out the country. The beach was beautiful at this park. First time to visit here. TFTC
After the morning tree planting at Granny Bay for ARC, we found this cache quite straight.
We put in a ZTD $10 coin. A toy fish out.
An easy one for newbies.

A nice beach that I'd never visited, but I decided to visit all caches in the park this afternoon. Not too many people around made for an easy find.
I found the cache but the contents were very wet and a little slimy and smelly. Cache needs a some TLC.
Found this one on the way to finish Great Park cache.
The cache is absolutely wet through. I couldn't even turn to an empty page to sign the log. This must have immediate maintenance done on it.
Cheers, Tufty

10.20am. Easy find. Haven't been to this beach for decades!
The cache was very wet. The lid was not on tight. The bags were not sealed. The container was on it's side and about quarter full of water. We didn't have time to dry it out properly and could not write in the log although we managed to get our "name" on the cardboard back cover. Put it back together but it may need some attention. We rescued the T.B. Whitey the dog as he was complaining about the wet!!
Thank you David & Noeline.

After a very pleasant walk this was an easy find for the grandchildren. An interesting cache.
3.50pm. Just stumbled across this one while doing the others in the park.
On a simply stunning day, and I can tell you the young, white bikini's on the beach were also stunning.
Left 'Whitey' TB. as we thought it appropriate.

Found cache easily. Nice dry inside.

Went early in the morning to avoid muggles.
A pity that visitors to this beautiful park do not dispose of their rubbish!

It must have been about 9.30 am when I arrived here and luckily there had been some early morning rain so the carparks were practically deserted and there were only a handful of dog walking muggles way down the beach. You would certainly get attention "sniffing" this one out on a busy day! Thanks BenMc
No drop off around here today. Few families having lunch near by . Rain on the way so can not stay and play on the beach.

Really busy day (of course - fine, Christmas picnics etc), but no problems getting the cache. Interesting cause there are now 4 caches in fairly close proximity, however makes it worth the visit. TFTC
First cache for the night, plan on doing all three in the park. A quick find, if you know the park.

Quick check to see if all is well in Wee Green Doggy Land and dropping off Larry the Library Lizard TB because I have been too busy to chase up mobile librarians. Please move along the line.
Aborted the first attempt at this one, but 40 minutes later after two other finds it was OK.

Was a nice day so took the family down to long bay. My daughter is going through a train phase so the ride in the park is ideal. Only managed to do this one as after a few hours in the playground and a couple of trips on the train she was headed for a crash quick. Nice hiding place although reached in with some trepidation.
In pink star toy out wee dog & TB know just the place for this!

I was passing close to GZ for this cache as I was completeing the Great Park cache so a very short detour notched up another one. A muggle was walking in front of me and looked like a complication but veered off 50 metres short of GZ so I just had time to complete formalities before some beach promenaders arrived.

5.30pm. Quiet today. Saturday it had been too popular with muggles everywhere. We knew where the likely spot was as we are regularly in this park. Mrs Flounderer found the cache.
TNSL and left two plastic dogs.

Out hunting with XenaCommander.. today the sultry Xena was left resting in the garage while the overage hoons hurtled around the Shore on sporty Splat (see profile for story)

Got the saturday chores out of the way and decided to go hunting with TechnoKitten on her Suzuki SV650.. Affectionately named "Splat".. Xena stayed in the garage sulking..
Saw this published yesterday but knew we would be too late for FTF but headed here anyway...
Love this park.. always crowded with many families and groups having fun.
parked Splat in closest parking spot and honed in on cache.
XC didn't work out the title of the cache until just now.. duh..
TK was quick to uncover.. signed log and left cards..
Logged accompanying TB's and coins thru.

What are the odds? Turned on PC to see 2 newly published caches and literally only 2 minutes away from our house. So 10 minutes later we were heading out the door...
As we know this reserve so well we knew what we were looking for and cache was a quick find a little later.
