Cool wee hide, and thanks for the helpful clue. Fascinating cemetery, full of sadness and love. TFTC
Thanks for your amazing cache. I really appreciate the time you took to set up and maintain your caches. Cheers, Cympull.
Searching for a few caches while visiting family in the region (and relatives in the cemetery). Busy road. Parking is best on the little driveway on the Nelson side of the cemetery. Off the road and not blocking cycleway. Easy enough to find once we got to the spot.
Thank you for this cache, Rambullers.
I’m detouring to Tapawera to look at the Adv Lab series and this cache is on the way; I enjoy wandering around cemeteries & this one was no exception.

Persuaded my parents to lend me one of their E-bikes, and drop me off at Tapawera, so I could cycle back to where we were staying, caching as I went. This was the 6th of the caches found today, the hint made sense when I was there!. Tftc.
Exploring the GTT as our Christmas exercise, parked one car in Wai-iti and rode from Tapawera. nice day for a cycle and picked up some caches along the way. Thanks to the cache owners for the ongoing maintenance and Meri Kirihimete to all.
A Christmas without family provides Tregearp and me an opportunity for a Christmas Caching bike ride along the Great Taste Trail for a couple dozen plus of caches that we've driven past many times but not had the time or opportunity to stop for. The weather was perfect for a ride - mild, overcast, and no wind. We had good success with only four DNF's out f just under 40 attempted caches. Thanks to all the CO's for their caches.
Parking was the hardest part. I finally found just enough room to park while not blocking the walking path. TFTC.
Found with NZDi. It is near the end of the Christmas holidays for school aged kids and it has become a family tradition to spend some of the holidays at Quinney's Bush Camp in Motupiko with our extended family. This is the fifth year we have come here and this time there were ten of us which included myself and NZDi, our two children, their spouses and four grandchildren, plus there was another family of four who were a close family friend of all of us, totaling fourteen.
Today NZDi and I had some caching time alone so we decided to ride the Great Taste Trail from Kohatu Junction to Tapawera, picking up the new listings that have appear since our last visit this time last year.
This was our eleventh of thirteen finds today and one that I did the honours on. As I crossed the 'Retreat' I heard a strange noise in the air towards Tapawera. When I looked up, I noticed a rather large drone a hundred or so metres away. I wonder if they were filming me. As usual with 99% of cache placed in these locations, the cache is place in the furthest corner from the access... why is that.

Thanks for the cache I needed a stop while driving so it offered a nice distraction and stretch of the legs at somewhere I would not have stopped!
Quick find here today. Nice to confirm it’s all good after a DNF. TFTC Rambullers, nice cemetery.
Driving home from Brightwater today, my only goal was to get home to Blenheim for a physio appointment at 4.30. So I decided to go inland, and a slightly different route to the other week. Kohatu, Tapawera and Glenhope were on the radar - don’t think I have ever been to the last one, and Tapawera maybe just the once. So a cruisy drive and not the last one on this route - those that looked like a bit of a trek or that had muggles nearby can wait for next time. Caches found were all in good shape. Thanks all COs.

Lovely quiet cemetery to explore.
Nice easy find. Thanks for bringing us here.

Stopped in here to check up on some distant relatives before following the compass to GZ. I also found a perfectly created birds nest that had fallen by accident at the cache. Thanks Rambullers, your cache is in good condition.
I was staying in Tapawera for the Music in the Mountains and thought that I would get my caching done before the afternoon heat. The task was to cyclocache and clean out all the caches between Tapawera and the Spooners Tunnel .
This was the first stop of the morning. Found it by accident too. TFTC

Stopped here to check out a spot for a Nelson Rail series. All very quiet here today. Quick snag and tag. Cheers
Its a geo adventure to Nelson with The Seagnoid and TaybeeNZ, who is visiting me for the weekend. The Seagnoid is working on his railway series but always time for a couple of extra stops.

When arrived here there were crews putting in new Hop posts in 3 directions near here. Took a bit to locate cache (leaf-fall doesnt help) and by time left the council maint crew had arrived. nobody took much notice of us. TFTC
We are on vacation in New Zealand and of course we seek some caches.
Thanks for this one!

Had the morning exploring around Tapawera so made the grab on the way back home. Thanks for the cache.
Parked up and crossed a nicely empty road to make our way to the cache. Once sorted, we meandered amongst the headstones before heading back to the car to continue on. tftc
I decided to do some caching today starting in Tapawera and heading out towards Glenhope.
I didn't disturb any any permanant residents here.
Cheers for the cache.

Geo cycling the GTT over 3 days, picking up caches on the way. Day 3, tapawera to stoke. Pleasant way to ease into the days cycling
After reading some stones on the walk to gz I thought I had an idea of what the hint means. So found quickly once there. Nice spot here, thanks very much
PC and I were heading home after a night up at Mt Arthur hut we have past this cemetery a few times .It is Shame some other old stones have been damaged ,had a good look around then read the hint it was then easy to find.Tftc Rambullers
We have passed this cemetery many times but this was the first time we had had a look around. In crossing the road we took care not to become residents.
Saw a camper van parked here a day or so ago, and wondered if there was a cache here. There was, but not a log. Maybe they weren't cachers after all. TFTC.
Found with 2wombles on our way back to Riwaka after a day at Quinnys Bush. Thanks for the cache.
A quick find while heading back to Riwaka after a day at Quinnys Bush. Thanks for the cache.
Today was the day we wanted to crank up some numbers so we went caching for 'park and Grabs'. It was a lovely day and we started in Wakefield before heading south and then back north. This was the last cache for us today - Number 50 - A record in a day for us and we celebrated with this young man who sadly died a long way from home. Thanks to all the cache owners who made this a special day.
Out for a day's caching today, on a loop from Wakefield, through Tapawera and Dovedale.
As I wandered around the retreat in the vague direction of the GZ, I pondered on the meaning of the hint. As foretold, I then proceeded to find the cache by accident, much as expected.
Thanks

Greetings from Denmark
Today was moving day. We had to drive from Greymouh to Motueka.
Thus we had time for some few caches.
Thanks for showing this place.

Today it was time for leaving Motueka and drive towards Murchison and further on to Westport. On the way we made some stops and found some caches .
No, we certainly had no intention becoming residents at this place, so we parked carefully and walked to the GZ. After a short search Pia found the box .

A plan was hatched to try and grab a number of caches, in excess of 120 if possible. I had already found a load between Renwick and St Arnaud but consulting the map around St Arnaud area showed some semi power trail drive by caching opportunities. Fellow Manawatu cacher the Seagnoid was asked if he was interested and a resounding yes was the answer. So the car was fuelled up at very early o'clock and provisions for munching were also loaded. An 0630 start was the plan and the day came to its conclusion around 2130 after approx. 15 hours of driving and caching.
Outcome was a very successful figure in excess of 130 caches which constitutes best day ever (for both of us), best week, month and year too. Over 500kms driven today and man I feel tired but need to make a start logging the finds, and DNFs. Thanks to all the C Os involved in making our day such a great one. Nearly all caches were well maintained, interesting and accurately plotted. There were bellbirds, beech trees, pies and water, sealed roads, gravel tracks, no sandflies (thankfully), rivers and bridges and creeks and bridges and streams and bridges and much conversation about all things caching
A great day out in good company and all made possible by the efforts of the hiders.
T F T C to all the cache owners. We mostly signed as C/S or Capp/Seag or other combos

[green] Capperz called me up saying he wanted to get his ruby Busy Cacher badge, and try for 120 caches in a day. I said YES PLEASEE!!, as I too had tried this once before but only achieved 103 before night defeated me and Edvern in Auckland last year. A successful day, with over 130 caches found in 14.5 hours and 500km. Also tiring - I went to bed as soon as I got home, despite it not being dark yet (yes, we could have cached some more, but the next objective is 180 caches, and there was no way we would have achieved that!). Alas, I had to leave all the planning to Capperz, and he produced a great little plan, listing all the target caches (and more) with which way to turn at next intersection after a cache - a great way to plan a back road travel.
The day was cool, cloudy, with a little drizzle. Perfect caching weather - the weather kept most of the muggles away from the muggle areas.
Thanks to all the COs for a great day out exploring the back roads of the Marlborough region!
Logs signed as CS or occasionally as CapSeag.

This was one of the most epic weeks ever, and definitely my most epic caching week ever.
Me and mum headed up on a holiday north to Nelson and very wider surrounds. In total during the trip, we found almost 500 caches! (470 odd I think, but final results are yet to be in! ) We covered about 3000 odd km I think too. Crazy! And had our absolute best caching day ever too at 160 found. Spend 9 days travelling, caching, and having the best time ever!!
So sorry about not so epic logs, as otherwise this would probably take me the rest of my life to log, especially with two big events to organise coming up! Eeek!!
Almost every single log we signed as 'Team Polak' to avoid needing to write out both usernames taking up space on logsheet - as well as precious caching time!! Haha.
This was it - one of the caches on our big day
Consec caching day # 702

For the sake of sanity we set off with sonia26642 for a crazy geocaching trip, aiming to cache until we drop. The main destination was Nelson and the ‘surrounding’ area, but then we ended up covering a few miles in three northernmost regions, plus a few in Canterbury. We were signing/stamping the log as 'Team Polak' or ‘TP’ for the two of us on this trip to save logbook space. We found a lot of different caches, city ones, road side, park side, up a hill and on an island, and we enjoyed every single one of them. It was good to be a professional thingfinder for a few days!
Today was to be our biggest day. S planned the route to cover the most possible easy to get P&G’s but we ended up not limiting ourselves to only those. D2.5? Why not? Let the brain have a bit of fun! D3? I am sure we can get there quickly!
We had great fun and are grateful to all CO’s who placed caches for us to find, and help restore our sanity before returning to our other non-geocaching lives!!
Come and join us the next New Zealand geocaching MEGA event!! Register your interest now at www.nzmega2015.com to receive newsletter updates and be the first to know. It will be a great event, come and be a part of it!!

Having pitched our tent at Quinney's and being told that we could expect a belter of a frost that night we set off to Tapawera to buy a couple of beanies (particularly necessary for the senior member of our crew). We wandered around the place before realising we'd pretty much parked on top of it. Junior retrieved the cache and quite a large spider (to much consternation). Too much consternation. Thanks for our third Rambullers cache today.
Surprised at where we found the cache, usually caches in these locations are a respectful distance away. Took a few minutes to re-hide it properly too. TFTC.
#7993. Another country cemetery in the middle of nowhere. We always enjoy caches in these locations. TFTC.
A nice wander as a break while driving. Quick find, and some interesting and sad reading here. Not a good place to lose the car keys, but with a fine day, plenty of time to find them again TFTC
Didn#t felt that good to look for the cache there but anyway. Nice place TFTC
Wasn't quite sure where to look for this one. Investigated a few options before eventually finding the cache. Signed the log then spent a few moments in respectful reflection. A lovely peaceful place. Thanks Rambullers
not the first place we looked - didn't really feel right but with all other options explored we found it
It kind if makes you happy to know that these guys way in the corner are having visitors when they've been on their own for so long. Very serene spot. TFTC.
Pleasant stop. Glad of the hint. Our gps would have had us further on. NINO TFTC
Well I cannot believe we didn't find this one. Looked all around but nothing was found.
[blue]Day 4 of our 31 Days of Caching Challenge.[/blue] 19/40 for the day. We rushed on passed looking for a toilet stop and Mum remarked "I"m surprised theres not one there" I said "There is, but arnt you in a rush to go?" she promtly made a uturn for a quick find. Thanks for the cache
TFTC. Grabbed this one on the way to Mt Owen. Unfortunately weather was not on our side, so we had to turn back.
Found it together with Team Autoværn on our New Zealand tour back in 2013.

Slight detour on our way to Blenheim looking for caches and some sunshine. Finally we have found both blue sky above while we sign the log.
Nice to see a well maintained rural cemetery with a mix of very old graves and the more recent ones adorned with reminders of the deceased TFTC.
