Hi AlienRiders,The cache appears to be in need of owner intervention, or it may not but in the absence of the cache owner performing maintenance and/or disabling the cache to check it out, I'm temporarily disabling it, to give the owner an opportunity to check on the cache, and take whatever action is necessary. Please respond to this situation in a timely manner (i.e., within 4 weeks) to prevent the cache from being archived for non-responsiveness.If you require more time please be sure to **post a note** (not an email) explaining the situation and how much more time you require. Caches archived due to lack of maintenance are no longer unarchived and you will need to submit a replacement as a new cache.Ngaambul - Matt
Had another look today while in the area and this cache is behind a fence now and no where to be seen. Unfortunately needs to be archived
As others have said. Rest stop is not there anymore. There is a great big hole in the ground very close. I am pretty sure this cache location is on mine property. Cache Owner, nor the adoptee are playing anymore. Should of been archived a long time ago.
The tree at GZ is not the type of tree I would climb. I did have to sneak around a fence. I think maintenance needs to be done on this cache or seeing as the CO is inactive I think it should be archived
We found the cache on the ground some meters away from any tree.
The log book was wet, so we put a new sheet of paper in it.
We placed it in a fork of the nearby tree.

Waded through the long grass and spotted the cache. Used a nearby stick to retrieve it but was unable to sign the log as it was cable tied shut and I couldn’t get the cable tie off. I have a photo as proof of find. Tftc
Definitely took a lot more time and effort to put this cache back that it did to retrieve it. Could do with a new log/paper.
This cache site has a couple of new problems associated with its entry off this VERY busy Highway, as it has new locked gates and not a lot of room to get off it!! It would appear that it is being transformed into a dump point for the Main Roads Dept of who ever..
Anyway the cache was located, signed and replaced in a position that it was intended !!!
I "THINK"
Thanks AlienRiders

It was lying on the ground, we put it up in the tree but it might not last. Log is full too. TFTC
TFTC,
Day 2 caching around the area with Liz and Bruce & Nana nel.
It must have rained all night and after a good nights sleep we went out to finish the Dogs Head Trail today together with plenty of other caches along the way across several towns.
Great to have such a variety of caches.
Thanks to Kingfisher_au for providing a trail where we could work together with other cachers and enjoy each others company while building numbers and learning about so many different breeds.
It's raining lightly and after lunch it was decided to head towards Singleton and build our total to 100 for the day, only got to 80. A big mistake after a few DNF's there we gave up and I expressed my disappointment in those logs.
Thanks AlienRiders for adopting a good cache to keep the history going.
Added a favourite and visited trackables.

After completing the Dogs Head, lunch over, now out to grab a few caches in the area, with Liz and Bruce & Wazza9. Quick find , stamped log and replaced. Thanks to AlienRiders, our luck today found on the ground, replaced up higher.
We camped at the rest area in Branxton with wazza9 and Nana Nel and ventured out to do some caching around the area. We enjoyed the variety of hides. Thanks to AlienRiders for hiding this cache and adding to our enjoyment of the area.
Tftc, wasn't above head height but on the ground. Log could need replacing. Put back above head height again
Found while on a geocaching holiday with tmann421.
Enjoyed the trip around and all the great hides.
Stamped TM/WW NZ, or if in pen our full names

Find No: 7756. Shaneo58, Mrs Grub Fred & I met up with Bill & DiMorgan at Singleton Showground to do the Dog's Head Trail, finished yesterday so collected some other fun ones today, thanks for the cache SUBYDAZZ adopted by AlienRiders!!
Nice cache with a difference, does need a new small logbook and bag for the next cacher
A quick climb to grab this one on the way back home from caching in Muswellbrook. Unfortunately the logbook is damp and really needs a new one. A fun find, TFTC
I have been driving past these caches for a while now and always saying one day i will stop. Today was that day. I parked at the parking coords and made a short walk through the long grass. I could see the cache but was hesitant to put my weight on some of the very dead looking branches. Picked the ones that looked like they wouldn't break at the slightest touch and made my way up. Signed the log in the tree and made my way back down breaking one of the branched i avoided on the way up. TFTC
Having camped overnight at Jerry's Plains, heading slowly towards the mega event, this was first on my list for today. A very do-able climb for me - yay! Thanks for adopting and maintaining this cache, AlienRiders.

Happy New Year!
With a souvenir up for grabs, and my wife sleeping off a night shift, a day out of the house with the team seemed a grand idea. We looped from home to Jerrys Plains and returned through Singleton, with 7 finds and 2 trigs.
We missed this in the past as we shot past, today we parked nearby (secure off street parking!) and walked (stomped) through thigh high (neck high if you are 5) dry grass. No snakes seen, I suspect they heard us coming and took off. The hide was spotted quickly, and a quick climb had it down. The log is full and a wet, mushy mess. I engraved our name into the mush. TFTC

Found out today with the tritonz
Not sure about how much longer the tree is going to survive as it's looking pretty dead .

Heading back to Maitland after a great day caching with Tack123, we picked up just one moreeee cache as we went.....
Noticed a tree climb cache was coming up along the highway which excited the geomonkey of the team. So using the parking coords we made our way down to the very dead tree where the cache was quickly spotted and mr t headed straight up to add our names to the log book.
Thanks for the cache placement for us to enjoy.

Luckily we used the WP to the old, closed rest area as it would have been a long walk from the new one. Did the monkey thing and found the old cache. It's showing its age, as is its host, which probably won't be around for too much longer. Thanks AlienRiders.
On my way up to Tamworth for the best week of the year. Gigs start tomorrow so I have all day today to get there and grab some select caches along the way! Parked at the rest stop at around midday on this mid-thirties dry day, took one look to the SE at some 100m of long grass between me and GZ.. and hesitated. Decided to walk along the road shoulder and go in that way which was better but still a worry. Got to GZ and spotted the cache where I expected. I SL and replaced as found. Cache (and everything else around here lol) dry as a bone, and in good working order. Cheers, AlienRiders.

Spotted cache as we approached GZ. Soon had cache in hand and damp log book signed. Rest area closed. TNLN SL TFTC
Out and about in Singleton finding a few caches today.
The rest area is closed at the moment so I parked on the side of the road.
A short walk and a quick climb and I had my name in the log book. [^]

Found with TOMBI! on the way up to Burning Mountain, stopping at Muswellbrook and Aberdeen, doing some HAVOC nominations and some other select ones. Cache was on the ground, bit wet, and I was lucky TOMBI! was with me to help put the cache back, as he had done this before. The tree is dead, limbs very brittle, and break of easily. So great care is needed. TFTC
Couldnt see this one from the ground at all. So gave up and was happy I didnt have to climb
Found it while travelling through, needs maintenance from owner, also the parking spot needs to be relocated to a place that you can actually park in. thanks for the cache.
really I still feel this one needs to be checked and maybe moved as its a very busy highway area and in a closed rest area.
It also need a new log book and the other one is soaking and just paper.
might be time to archive this one.

Was leaving Singleton to head to the Blue Mountains so decided to grab this one on our way.
Still the rest area is closed so we parked near the closed signed and went in. At least the car might be a little safer there.
Trudged to the cache. and looked around. Ratdog found it in a place that I had been standing.
cache is wet and needs a new logbook too. we didn't bring any f those things.
replaced as found.

Thanks for the cache. Found on the ground after a lengthy search. Replaced at head height in the tree. . Could so with some maintenance co.
Found on our way to gosford, the tree was dry and brittle and very dangerous to climb, tftc!
Back in MBK to round up a few strays and some newies. Grabbed this one on the way home. Mr C made the grab here as he is long of limb and, although in his mid sixties, still has some agility left. Log was a little damp but signable. Thanks AlienRiders

Together with arbor95 we had today a long way to drive. Therfore we take every chance to pick up a few interesting caches, for that the drive was not so boring. Sometimes it takes longer than we expected to find the cache, but that was no problem.
This one we found pretty fast.
Thank You for this cache and for keep him going.
Greetings to the owner.

Well, this was an interesting find. It was easy to find, see photo 1, but the tree branches were not as strong as they look, as per the graze i got climbing down. Photo 2.
I also was not able to sign the log book as I forgot my pen. The Tree photo shows the cache, so that it is as good as signed.

Today we tried to do this cache but the rest area is closed and they have opened a new one just up the road. Its not safe to park here on the side of a busy highway especially with little kids. Might be time to move this cache as the mine is close by and we were not sure why the rest area was closed. It might be because of subsidence. Ive seen them move the road because of it down here.
Not sure if I was entirely inconspicuous (38 year old up a tree?) but I am really glad I looked up before climbing, as I almost climbed the wrong tree by mistake! Got a wicked case of jelly legs whilst in tree - too much gym earlier. Thanks for the effort on this one - gets an FP from me for reliving my youth! Also, as pointed out in other logs, grass is very long - not too bad along the fence line so stick near that. Reduced snake risk in winter though! Car park / rest area closed at present - not entirely sure why, but somewhat less muggles as a result, short of general traffic. TFTC
Geowife spotted this one and volunteered 68 year old geohubby with knee replacement to retrieve it as he had the better monkey abilities. Geowife offered lots of encouragement. Have given it a favourite point. TFTC.
Had to face my fears here, the tree climb was no issue, however the death adders and tiger snakes were a more immanent threat in the long grass on a hot dry day. TFTC!!!
Found it after finding POI#1 nearby.
Very enjoyable!
Thanks for the monkeying around!

This was very cool, good view (not haha) took me a little bit but it wasn't too hard.
After collecting a nearby cache we parked at the rest stop (currently closed) and walked to GZ. There we saw what needed to be done. I unleashed my inner monkey and got the cache in minutes.
Thanks for a great cache, AllenRiders!

A quick find on my way home from work. Recovery proved challenging but I channeled my inner monkey.
found with Commando283 on a late gallivant up the Valley.
picked up Racecar Trackable .

2549 Found by baby&Mrs gopher at 1315. Pulled up in the rest area and went for a stroll. Getting much better at these type of caches. SL Tnx AlienRiders.
Tricky little bugger. Gotta get it from the right angle. Found with Mollieadeux. Swapped One Piece gold with Oak Torch.
Ha ha this was fun but it took a while to get some agility into the legs after sitting in the car for so long on this trip. The walk to it helped though.
Thanks for a different hide.
