The area had been modified and no longer suitable to hide the cache so it is time to put this one to bed.
Was out for a walk today and checked on the cache to gind it is not there. It lasted a long time but is in need of a replacement.

No luck on this one today. The area seems recently cleared and there are fresh cut branches in piles at the GZ. Perhaps a CO check might be required.
Admittedly, I had 4 children with me... but we struggled to find it even off the beaten path! Will definitely come back and try again.
Had 15min before an appointment around the corner. Hmm I started walking, hoping the path sent me roughly the right area and I could put a smiley on this one.
Never been to this reserve before.
Quick nice find. Will have to come back for the other here. TFTC TNLN

Our second day in the area. After our 14km walk yesterday, we were looking for something less energetic. A quick find once we braved Mother Nature. Removed some broken rubbish from cache and left a new log strip. Sorry, didn't have anything bigger. TFTC (We ended up walking quite a bit of the park as it was so beautiful...so much for a slower day lol)
What a great cache! I've lived in Morwell for most of my life and never knew this reserve was even here. It had just rained and I looked where the GPS was pointing me and was hoping it was wrong... but alas. A bit wet I signed the log and enjoyed the call of the birds. Thanks for bringing me here
What a lovely place have never been here saw some turtles and ducks really enjoyed the walk nice easy find tftc found with apple460
Got today while out and about loved the walk and the park tftc found with grannygeo64
This morning I awoke after staying the night around the corner at a friends place and before driving home to Lara I though I would find our a cache for the day. Last night I had completed the cache that is also in the same woodlands park. It seemed like a great place to come for a walk while I was here last night even in the dark.
This morning I parked in the official car park and started up the track in the direction of the cache. The paths are very well done and it was a lovely walk on this very fresh morning. Once I arrived at the dam I was starting to play close attention to where the GPS was taking me. I got a spot where I left the track the GPS was doing a little bit of a dance but finally lock in a position and the prize was found almost immediately.
Thank you Crisp image for bringing me out to this beautiful spot and a lovely walk on this fresh morning. Thank you also for the cache placement and another smiley for our map

I know that we all 'play' this Geocaching 'game' differently, and I was having fun; with the GPSr routing me a different way to most people I would think. There is a large firebreak 'track' behind the Reserve, and BOY is it potholed! It looks like one car got stuck in a pothole full of water, and had an electrical fire - it is all burnt out! Then I came to a WALL of vegetation! Definitely Terrain 2½, if not T3 trying to get through THAT! And fell out the other side into a clearing, and another 'pothole' for catching and slowing down rainwater. More bush, another clearing, and when I looked UP I noticed something that could be the basis for a hide, and sure enough, when I navigated in that direction I found the cache.

Sorry for the super late log. January is the month for catching up
We found the pot holes and sadly a lot of rubbish. We did not follow instructions on the easiest way to get there as we didn't know where the golf course was.

Lovely area for a stroll. Found without to much trouble however log is nearly full and very damp. TFTC
Had to bush-bash a little but we found it soon enough. Thanks for a great hide in a beautiful reserve!
Waiting for an appointment in Morwell and had some time to do some exploring. Easy find peaceful surrounds. TFTC
Nice hiding spot, camouflage works well. But the log book is quite damp.

Thought we were going to get bogged on this one going to the cache. Then we thought we were not going to get across the lake. The compass was pointing to a big tree. In the end after a few minutes searching we found it. Nice camo. Log was soggy. Just managed to write on it, TFTC
Found on WACKY WEDNESDAYS with Wittay13!
This one is awesome! A little walk off the beaten track, make sure you have your bug spray and hiking boots on. (Both of us had inappropriate footwear on.)
Great little hide. Keep looking, its in there.
Gotta cache 'em all!

Got chased off by mossies today. Will have to try again another day when we're armed with aeroguard.
I took the most obvious looking path in from the car park which turned out to be the one the description warns about - the garbage is a bit awful. So I managed to clamber my way down to a likely looking path, then found a dam in my way. Circumnavigation later, I successfully made a quick find and dropped off a geocoin heading to the ski fields from Melbourne. TFTC Crisp image! I really enjoyed exploring this park.
Was pretty muddy when we uncovered it. Loved walking around here. Had the place to ourselves(except for the birdlife) TFTC.
Thanks for bringing me to this lovely park which I had no idea existed . Nearly ready to give up when I decided to do one more enlarged sweep of the area and there it was. GPS had me a good 15m away. Some weed eradication going on in the area - pity they didn't pull up the young weeds growing, but the they would be out of a job next year! TFTC
This poor cache is in need of some TLC, the log is saturated. Apologies for not having replacements available. At time of visit.
It was getting to the end of a beautiful sunshiny day and we took a much needed walk in the mini wilderness. After winding our way back from a nearby cache we picked a likely looking path and soon had the cache in hand. Tftc
Who knew this place existed? Nearly drowned in a few puddles (or rather small lakes) as we drove in.
Easy find due to cache being tipped out of its place. Notebook is drenched wet. Did our best to dry the inside of cache and returned to its spot. It will need replacement for notebook. We signed in the driest spots left with alkita85. TFTC
Thanks for bringing us to this nice park. It's amazing what is in

Went out for a Sunday drive hoping to find a few geocaches. What a lovely reserve. I really enjoyed looking for this hide. TFTC Crisp image.
Found it without too much trouble. Was a nice walk for the sidekick and me. Only wildlife we encountered was mosquitoes. Tnln. Thanks!
This is a lovely little reserve to walk through, beware of swooping birds this time of year though! Haha
First ever find so very exciting for us. Took strawberry eraser and put in dragonfly pendant.
We very regularly walk this bush as we live in this area.
Toilet has been burnt down and needs a new pen as there wasn't one.

September Stroll was born earlier in the week with an idea hatched to head in a loop towards Sale starting from Moe. Heading north up to Heyfield, across to Stratford then down to Sale before arriving home late, it was a magnificent spring day to enjoy East Gippsland.
We drove along golf links trail, glad we had the GeoRanger, sad people would dump stuff out here!! Parking on the side of the trail we made our way to GZ with a short 60m walk where Katy made the find.
Thanks for the cache Crisp image!!!

So happy to find this one! Went for a lovely bush walk and decided we needed to have another crack at this one, was our first cache we went to ever but had no luck/ no experience. This time felt like pros when we found it. Great hide. TFTC!!
Found for a second time. This time found the car park and walked the tracks. Came here before with my geoson and we approached from a different direction and did a bit of bush bashing to find gz. So much extra growth since 2010. Enjoyed the walk much more this time. SL TFTC
TFTH Crisp image was more challenging at 20:54 last 1 for the day of cache hunting.
