Good luck on the next update you have to get to work this weekend or tomorrow morning meeting with your
SL at 11:20am. On our way to Mt. Gambier for shopping from Dartmoor where we got some spring water. Another little detour here off the main drag with bdiaw. A fun little drive to the cache. Had to check out the fire observation tower first.
*Cache is very wet on the inside, the log itself is safe and dry.
*Signed log as FWD.

Heading down the border track on a fun adventure collecting caches along the way. The track so far has been ok, thanks to the logging area, so hopefully it stays that way! We
This oldie has been turned into a Russian Doll, cache inside a cache inside a cache…but that’s keeping it safe for longevity. The log sheet was full so we have replaced it for future finders.
Thanks The Rizzos for the old placement.

Due to unforeseen circumstances Mr Smokey Bear will no longer be a part of Team Smokey Bear and will continue his adventures as "SmokeyBearOG".
So I'm relogging all previous finds under my new account.
Unfortunately this log will not show the original logging date.
**Thanks to The Rizzos for this adventure, looking forward to many more.**

The weather hasn’t improved today, it’s hard to believe it’s mid December and I’m still wearing a jumper and beanie!
After spending the night at Digby it was time to head for Millicent.
The little birds were not happy about me walking through their forest ️

The second full day in Mt Gambier with Doctor Owl and sushilord. We picked up Bowerbird and headed out for some breakfast before what turned out to be quite a long road trip visiting Port MacDonnell, Kongorong, Tantanoola and then decided on the spur of the moment to go and find the Virtual cache in Dartmoor. A fun day with lots of caches and some pretty cool locations which Bowerbird thoroughly enjoyed. [^]
A nice walk in to this one and a quick find of the cache.
Thanks for the cache The Rizzos.

This sure is 1 old cache!, the container sure shows signs of many years experience. However its still holding up just like it would have on its first day!. dropped off a TB that somebody might be able to take to SA at some point.
Thanks for the cache, this is quite a beaut area!

First cache of the morning and a border crossing! Well sometimes that's what you have to do as you work towards a fulfilling a challenge. Cool bit of camo here, The Rizzos!
Found It!
A quick find here on a trip over the border to get a cache find in the LGA in this corner of Victoria. Nice little spot!

Today was about traveling from Millicent back to Adelaide with laighside Legends. Collecting all the LGAs in the SE of the state and one in Vic. TFTC
Out with CPwanderer crossing the border into Victoria for the day.
A nice spot, handy clue and good coordinates.
We needed some easier caches due to a few glitches with the weather.

Suscoe was enjoying a few days at Mount Gambier and surrounds this week leading up to Easter.
We experienced a strange but familiar pattern of weather with a storm last weekend, with hail, rain and strong winds and towards the end of the week we had calm and sunny days. Just like home.
Anyway, we enjoyed the caching, so many different locations and interesting hides.
Well done to all the cachers for the work done in creating and hiding their caches for us to find.
Thanks to The Rizzos for this hide.
All quiet out here except for a camper about 200 metres away.
A beaut day, the calm before the storm.

Nice Place! However the cache was invaded by ants that now build there home in it.
Trying to round off the numbers so stopped for this one on the way home to Naracoorte from Portland TFTC
The woods no where near as thick as I was expecting, don't know why I had put this one off for so long, TFTC
Camped here on our way to the Grampiens. A really nice and quite spot - love it here! The cache was a quick found, but wouldnt have seen the tree house without it thanks for showing and hiding
Yeah, found it. Bring some trinkets to add. Nice camp spot for the self sufficient.
This was the next cache on my Warrnambool to Mt Gambier and return day trip. This cache should have been called "kangaroo cache" as I saw about 15 kangaroos of various shapes and sizes on the way to this cache after turning down the wrong road initially. I thought my little 2wd geo car was not going to make it to the picnic site after turning onto the picnic site road before the cache location but she got there and the cache was located and signed.
Thanks for the cache.
Thanks for the cache.
I did soooo want to climb that tree house, but too hard and ladder was dodgy.
Camping here tonight before heading to Mt Gambier.
Quick easy find, bring a milo tin opener.

Another day caching in the South East while visiting my geocaching daughter, S-I-L and grandchildren.
What a great place to have a picnic. Unfortunately didn't stop for lunch here. It looks like someone had a bit of time to spend here building the cubby at some stage. Didn't attempt to climb it though. Looked a bit dodgey. Thanks for placing the cache and bringing us to another wonderful area.

Accurate coordinates and the hint led to a quick find. The cache and contents were in good condition. The nearby tree house was certainly impressive. Thanks for the cache The Rizzos.
What an adventure. Thought we might see Red Riding Hood or the Big bad wolf or even Robinhood in these parts let alone the three bears! Great forest and native patch of vegetation. Pity there wasn't more native bush. At least there are creatures. Saw kangaroos. TFTC Left pathtag for the next adventurer.
There must be a Hefafaump around these parts, saw Heffalump tracks near the Cache.
This could be a fantastic place. It's a shame it's not on the upkeep list of parks

Visiting Millicent for the space event and visiting family for a few days we did some caching while we were here,we slipped across the border to get a couple of Vic caches and this was one of them, the cache contents are a bin job with its contents wet, mouldy and smelly, i have disposed of what was in there and have placed a preform tube in what was the container with log and pencil and put back any swappable that weren't rusty or destroyed. TFTC
Found today not able to sign the log full of water container broken needs to be replaced:(
Container is broken and was full of water, logbook is soaked and unable to sign.
Wow, what a lovely area! We didn't even know this was here! Will have to remember this spot for when we go camping.
Thank you Rizzos for bringing us here

Not a hard one to find. Did forget to bring a pen with us though so didn't bother writing in anything. On the other hand did play in the cubby house!
#3614 This is a great spot! It seems also to be quite popular with campers - we were quite amazed that they are so close and yet the cache continues to survive. Our last cache for the day before heading back to the cabin at Nelson for some R&R and some cool lemonades . Thanks Rizzos for the cache. Cheers
A nice spot in the middle of the Teddy Bears forest
There is a bonza tree house next to GZ too.
I didn't climb up there though as the construction was not to code and I expected to fall out of it and break something on the way down [:o]
After finding the cache I wandered back to the geomobile to have lunch and got some extra entertainment
A car pulled in and parked near the cubby, which was about 50 metes away from me.
A couple of people got out wandered around for a while, made some gestures at the funny cubby and left [:o]
Oh they so had to be geocachers I thought
I went back to look at the cache again.
Sure enough there was a "taz-bud/inkle" sticker in the logbook
TFTC and picinic spot.
