Can this one please be archived? I went looking for this one.. couldn't find it.. then checked the logs. Repeated DNFs and no answer to call for maintennance since October last year.
Co-Ordinates put me in the middle of a car park. Could not get to waterfall because of closed track. Adjustments one way of looking at them put me in middle of highway, another way put me over in shopping centre. Could you please check co-ords ?? Many thanks The Garnets
Well, we went looking, but we didn't find it. Now I see others have been unable to find it too.
Well we found the log book only, the log book was recovered from the leaf litter, but there was no sign of the container or it's contents, including the travelers that were in it. We have bought the log book home with us and will contact the owner regarding it's return.
Just like a cache I have, the waterfall is bone dry! Did the calcs and then made a hard job of getting to gz where the cache was a quick find, thanks dandent.
OH goodness... geoson and I tried twice today to find... but no. The 'blonde' in me must be working overtime I think. I am so sure that the cache should be hidden in the jungle but it looks as though the council have been doing some severe pruning... found two sets of keys that we delivered to the police station though. Was so hoping to find this one as it would have been my 100th, and a couple of bugs to take with us on our around aussie travels.
Very enjoyable find. Taken TB THE LAST (N). Dropped off Suncompass geocoin and Out of the blue TB
We found the cache and on returning to the motorhome met up with a couple we had last seen in WA a few months ago, must have been good carma coming from this cache. Spent the rest of the day chatting and catching up untill some locals sniffing from plastic bags hung out by us. Please be aware that they may be around when you are doing this cache so as not to cause any issues with your safety and the safety of the cache. L TB T N TFTC
Found it second time round. I also left a byro in the cache as there was nothing to write with.
I was driving past today and I pulled in to have a check on the cache after the DNF by JeffGaz. The cache is still there.

Organised a kids birthday geoparty, and this was first cab off the rank. Funny sight sitting on GZ trying to decipher the clue. TFTC Dandent.
We would have to log this find a GAFF5 if we used that system. We were having lunch nearby with CamHelen and discussing Rocky caches when it became apparent they had found this one and we hadn't, so without co-ordinates or the clues Avagomob got to sign the log and liberate the TB.

This area is beautiful up close
The falling water drowns out the traffic noise nicely [^]
With the prime seating location to meself, I took me time to calculate the whereabouts of GZ.
A short terrain 4.5 stroll later and I was there
The cache didn't stay hidden for long and I grabbed the Wotta Rippa Zippa TB.

I really enjoyed this hunt. found at 1022 on a Saturday morning. there were a fair few people using the park but no one was close by while accessing the cache and writing in the log.
to celebrate cracking 100 finds this weekend I decided I would help some trackables find a new home
Took - The Old London Phone Box GF68ZR
Took - Geocoin- Cache Critters On Patrol CCN19N
moving them south to Gladstone. Thanks for this great cache

Took us ages to find this one. The ground was covered in leaves so it was rather hard to find. But we eventually found it. Good hide!
Was good to return to this place... But this time I know about geocaching... And there's one close by!! Great little puzzle. Thanks dandent.

Tricky to find! Very sharp foliage!! 20 mins to find. good fun. Only our 4th geocache. Took Travel Bug, will take on a holiday next weekend.
Found it. The "adjustment" of the co-ords was a bit ambiguous but we got there in the end. TFTC
Dropped off GC and TB which we have brought up from Brisbane.

had a little trouble finding withGPS so found it by "where would I hide it" system. It often works
Second go at this one this morning, due to undesirable muggles last night, GPS co-ords plus maths worked out fine

UNFORTUNATELY WE HAD TO GIVE THIS ONE A MISS AS WE WERE ON A TIGHT SCHEDULE & DIDN'T HAVE TIME TO WORK THIS ONE OUT, WAS DISSAPOINTED TO FIND THAT THE MAJORITY OF THE CACHES CLOSE TO THE HIGHWAY THROUGH ROCKY WERE OF THIS TYPE OF CACHE AS WE WERE HOPING TO QUICKLY GRAB SOME CACHES ON OUR WAY THROUGH BUT SUCH AN ABUNDANCE OF THESE TIME CONSUMING CACHES CAUSED US TO PRETTY MUCH SKIP ROCKY FOR OUR CACHING ADVENTURES.
Found @ 13:15
A nice, quickly solved puzzle(?), on our way trough town.
Only 3 of the 4 in our party were injured retrieving this cache, I got stung by hornets, my son cut his finger retrieving the cache, and my wife was stung on the foot by some unknown critter on the way back to the care.
Just gotta love the tropics.
Otherwise an enjoyable cache.
No swaps.
Thanks dandent

I parked in the car park and began to walk to the chair to take a reading. On the way I looked over saw a good spot to hide a cache, went over for a look and guess what I found a cache.

Dodgy GPS readings had me everywhere - so eventuallly I decided simply to look where I would hide a cache - and there it was. Thanks for taking me closer to the waterfall and finding out what hides behind! Took Kughlhupf geo coin . Left Goodec Geocoin
Well I tried, but no luck.
Ill give it another go next weekend. I was a bit concerned that it may have been covered up, several heaps of mulch have been dumped around the area, Can anyone confirm its is still OK?

2nd try at this one and finally success.
Ended up in the same spot as the first time but persevered with the search this time.
Great Fun
Dropped off a TB we have had for too long. Hope it is able to move on more quickly now.

Found this one at 2:20pm. The adjustments were spot on and was able to find rather quickly. I was in town from Emerald for a dentist appointment and thought I would sneak in a cache whilst in Rocky. Another note worth mentioning is that you should not try and eat a hamburger, hold a soft drink, and search/navigate with a GPS (Very difficult)

The offset co-ords worked well and I found it exactly where it should have been! I had to rush the log though as it was starting to rain and my car was a KM away. Bye. TNLN SL.

Found it at 11:20 this morning, and not in the place I suspected...sat on the chair near the falls and had a think, and decided to take a walk to an area I didn't think it would be.
Very good hide and I don't think any Muggles will stumble across it there. Cache in good dry condition.
Took red superball.

Went to the seat in front and did the maths but then walked around the back and found another seat, is thgis one closer? hmm. Will try again another day
Found with Temingi. Light rain this morning, but more inconvenient were the sprinklers that were blocking out way to the cache. Sat down and helped decrease the mozzie population for a while until the sprinklers let us through. In: Coin tin

Have driven past here many times. The boys abandoned the hunt at the waterfall and headed to Hungry Jack's while the girls completed the mission. A quick log entry as we were being eaten alive. Took: earrings, Left: pack of Australia tattoos (for Australia Day!) Great spot, though at the moment it looks like a stampede of rhinoceros (geocachers?) have been through.

We meant to go shopping but ended up looking for this. I was not dressed accordingly and was bitten a good 20 times by crawly creepies. But I had to have it this cache. Lovely suroundings and the kids liked the calculating.
Out for a leisurely afternoons caching, and with the rain no one around to hide my activities from. I sat on the bench and enjoyed the waterfall, then it was off to the cache location. A quick find, I was pleasantly surprised that the adjusted coords were spot on.
No swaps, but did grab the Falls TB,
Thanks for the cache,
best wishes,

In town for a week visiting relatives who recently moved here from Armidale! Great opportunity to do some more caching in another part of Oz! Arrived at GZ earlier in the day with a constant drizzle and the presence of dozens of spiders and their webs but sadly no luck. Second time around more successful . Signed log and lifted a TB. TFTC, Cheers, Rav 4 Raiders
Found this cache some time ago with the help of one of the locals just realised I had not logged the find. I will backdate the find date even if I can't remember the correct date.
Found ages ago. Have no internet at the moment and have had problems getting online time to log these. Took Quik the Tortoise.

came to a favourite place to drop off larger TB's and found a coin which we decided to take. swapped TB for Coin.
Beautiful location - we felt we were somewhere other than near the centre of a large town. Left geocoin and Rainbow Sands Souveneir and took oak badge. Thanks dandent for bringing us to this great spot.
Great cache dandent. Found it at app. 3.30pm today. Took Erin the Fairy TB, Fees Smart TB and Narnia TB. Intend to take Narnia to Brisbane so someone can take her to NZ. The other 2 will go into caches I am getting together here in Moura. Left an Oakcoin Pin and a Koala.

An easy find on the way home from the great Event at Mount Morgan. Cache location was where dan had described when we first went looking for it, even though we were looking in a different location.
Nice peaceful area, with no muggles around.....well worth the trip in off the highway
Thanks for the great cache. There were 3 TB's in this cache which i just left for others to enjoy (actually i didn't want to loose them)

We tried twice on the event day. We even joined other teams in trying to find it but to no avail. The next day on our way back from Byfield, we thought we would give it another go. We did have a hint from the cache owner to where it was. I decided that we would do it from the start again and not use the hint. We went to the seat, where I sat for 5 mins averaging out the coordinates. Bloody hot 5 mins they were. Did the maths and the coordinates where a lot better today. It would have put it very close to the hint we got. Off we go to the cache location. As we neared GZ we lost a number of sats due to the tree cover. The GPS was telling us to go in one direction (16m) where we couldn't. This left us with only one area to search. Found the cache within 2 mins.

STF. Found the cache at 5.30pm. Thanks to Dandent for help us. Wow!! Lovely waterfall so beautiful - after read bundyrumandcoke mentioned about “rubbish tip ". Surprise me…. Thank you for organise the cache and hunt.
Spent some time with other caching teams looking in the wrong area, however had fun in the process. Nice waterfall, especially considering its geological history.

Found as part of the Capricorn Cachers First Meet and Greet. We DNF'd this one during the day, finding out (later) that we were searching about 50 metres from GZ. Apparently something to do with the movable seat near the waterfall, or was that movable sattelites. But after a clue from Mrs Bundy, who was caching with Everlasting for the day, and a chat with the owner and Dooghan, we found it about 7.00pm. Its hard to believe that this whole area was rubbish tip about 25 years ago, or that the waterfall was originally one long man made cliff, supposed to resemble Canarvon Gorge IIRC, but the centre (now waterfall) section collapsed not long after it was opened.
