Love how simple this cache is, might steal the container idea for one of my own caches in the future! Tftc
find number 99!! gunning to get my 100th find while out on a weekend hike with a group of friends TFTC!!
Quick find on my way hiking from Wondabyne to Woy Woy station. Lots of ups and downs but a really enjoyable trail

After bashing a bit off the trail I found the pretty large container. OCW pigeoncam and sopty100. TFTC
Found with Sophiescout and Jemalong & Family after a hike down to Pinabar Falls and Cave. Unfortunately the writing ️ failed so scratched our name in the log.
After a hike into the rock shelter and overnight stay on the way back to the train station a quick find. A great walk with friends and lovely and warm. TFTC
Slight detour on return from Pindar. What's another km between friends? Was looking under ledges and looked up to spot the monster that is Mayfair. Paid rent as usual.
Signed the newer book. Great spot thanks.

A nice location off the fire trail.
A bit bush bashy - had a search with jennyfromthefarm, who found it sitting in all its glory.
Great to find such a large container.
Stopped for a couple of minutes to read some of the hand written logs - I was particularly happy to read the detailed log of a muggle who accidentally stumbled upon it and signed the log without knowing about the game!

Another rare LARGE cache hidden in the bush. This is how I like geocaching: a decent hike into the wilderness and a sizable container for the effort. Well done.
While the rest of the hiking party waited on the main track, a few of us made a foray into the bush towards the co-ords of this hide. How awesome to find a large bucket from way back when, still in good order, safe where it's been stashed for a long time. Everything was dry and neat. We inscribed the log book with our caching names, packed up the container and sealed it well, before returning it to its safe hiding spot.

So today was the day to go to wondabyne and do the Pindar cave adventure event. It was a long awaited event and back when it was first published I don’t think I would have had the fitness to get it done. Today was a different story and although I wasn’t able to run along the trails I did make it up and out and back.
This one was an obvious addition for the day and I approached GZ with Joshoforshort and we made a quick find by following the hint.

Visiting Wondabyne for the Pindar Cave event today, headed into the bush to quickly find on the way out to Pindar Cave. One of the biggest caches I have seen and many items still inside, dry and clean. Signed with a few others before continuing on our way.
Who doesn't love a good game of Monopoly!
I like the interesting information about the actual area of Mayfair on the cache page. Wish I knew as much about all the places on the Monopoly board.
On the way to the event at Pindar Cave was the perfect opportunity to stop for this cache along the track.
It was a pleasant surprise to find such a large cache, and still in really good condition too. Signed the logbook after our group found the cache and then continued on our walk.

Big walk to Pindar Cave today. As I opted not to take the train I had to start from Woy Woy Road. This included a fair bit of the Norhtern walk before even getting to the Pindar trail. Walked 27 km in ttotal with a few caches along the way and a great event at the Pindar cave with a really good turn out. Now at home feeling sorry for my sore muscles!

Found whiles on the way to the event at Pindar cave today. A short detour of teh track soon had cache in hand. Thanks for placing the cache.
Dad walked right over this cache but the middle child managed to find it hidden away. It wasn't a small container so Dad was a bit embarrassed.
Found a TB to move along.

We dropped 1 TB.
On our way back we saw an echidna not so far.

Continuing up the hill to the end of the firetrail where we passed a single hike tent the lizard and I strolled along the rock strewn track discussing things of no consequence. It was only after the spotted some female members of the species stopped ahead that we realised the arrow was pointing to our rear. We quickly reversed direction, retracing our steps and being mindful of the landscape the found a location there the direction indicated by the arrow coincided with an easy access to the land.
Not to bore you with the details I'll jump ahead and say we came across a large container containing a variety of objects including a couple of log books.
As the instinct when finding a container containing a logbook in the bush is to sign said log book, we both did so before replacing it in the container and the container back to where we found it.
Thanks cphoenix

After a short climb up the hill, my fitbit said I had climbed over 35 flights of stairs.... we were strolling along and realised we had overshot the mark. Turned around and headed back. When the little arrow said we were now at the closest point of interception we headed in. What a great cache. Left a few pathtags of mine.
A quick detour off the track while walking from Wondabyne to Patonga. It's good to see a cache of this size.

We caught the train down for some Australia Day caching today with Mighty Minions, unicorn_princess and shaneo58, the heat and humidity pounded us for 7 hours, and we all learned a lesson in water requirements for hikes like this.
Our first in the Monopoly series, an easy find off the track thanks to pretty good coordinates and a huge container. TFTC! We picked up the TB....

Half an hour into our hike. There was no phone signal here, luckily I had saved the caches beforehand!
I wasn't sure how to enter the bush here. We saw warnings of venomous snakes in the area, so I showed a lot of caution when getting into the bush. Greg found a way in, and he lead the way to what looked like a possible place for the cache. I thought we'd have a long search at hand, but luckily it didn't take him too long to locate it. The biggest he's found so far. A great size indeed, TFTC.

Nice hiding spot! Small amount of bush bashing and there it is. Had fun doing this series although couldn't find one of them.
After getting off the train at Wondabyne, we started our walk up to the GNW and back, hoping to find 5 caches on the way. This was the first one we found, and despite some very difficult terrain encountered in the last 40m, we made a quick find once at GZ. TFTC!
In training to do the overland track so I thought I might walk from woy woy to wondabyne for a bit of fun and find some caches along the way. What a great walk, some amazing views and beautiful bushland and some really pretty women out walking today as well. Ha ha. Overall a great day and found some pretty good caches as well. Favourite for this one as loved the location. Tftc tnln
Yes we made it up the hill. Stopped to have a rest and enjoy the view. A quick find.
The last of of the day.
Reached the top of the hill and found this one with ease.
We passed a number of people who where coming from the waterfall. I need to check that out another day.
Thanks for bringing me to this wonderful place.

Fangsoki and Pprime (P') and I were on a road trip for Easter to the Mega Event and had a list of caches that we wanted to get while we were away.
We were heading from the station to the challenge cache and this one was close to our route so we took the short detour to add our names to the log.
The scenery in the area is spectacular.
The cache was quickly recovered.[xx(]

Fangsoki, Crew153 and I are from Brisbane down for the GeoMuster Mega and today we chose to travel by train to Wondabyne and wander up the escarpment and along to Scopas Peak. This wasn't a target, but we all but stepped over it - a juicy large container as well - so a quick rest stop was quickly called for and the logbook extracted and signed. A nice spot too. Cheers.

Crew 153, Pprime, and I made our way up the hill and we diverted on the way to a Challenge to grab this one. After a bit of a bash, we soon found the beast safe and sound.

After dealing with a nearby Mullet, I headed off to track down some monopoly caches on this perfect winter's day. After success at Pall Mall, Bond St and Old Kent Road, I soon exited the track and continued south along the fire trail. Went bush near GZ where I initially went too low but it put me in a great position to see the large container. The new log book has been started from both ends so I signed both just to be sure. This cache was my main target for the day as I felt it was a perfect destination for the "Mission Monopoly" TB I had been carrying. Swapped it for TB that was there. Thanks for bringing me on this enjoyable walk. Now just need to psych myself up for the return trip to Staples Lookout (about 1.5 hours).

Found with TOMBI!, and Orsome86 doing some interesting D/T combinations. TOMBI! and I had started a set of caches but when Orrsome86 rang we changed our aim and starting out doing the Great Train Heist, intending to finish at upper Mullen as one car was parked there, for a WPnt. After traveling back and forth to find the Heisted Train, we got off at Wynboine and followed the GNW back to the car (about 9.5 Km as you walk), finding all the Monopoly caches on the way. Walking from Wondabyne it was pretty much all up hill. We finally got back to the track and we had to leave it for this cache. We were all very glad it was rocky and not too shrubby. So a quick find was made.
Thanks for the hike, rock hop and cache!

Tombi put the call out to see if anyone was interested in finding a train robber and a few other caches. Initially I didn’t think I would be able to assist, however a change in circumstances meant I could make the journey. So a day of adventures ensued with train rides and a big hike and a few difficult caches tackled.
This was the third cache we found. We made our way from the previous cache albeit slowly through the typically thick Sydney sandstone vegetation until we reached a track. It was much nicer and easier walking along the track. Veered off the path to make a reasonably quick find. TFTC

A fairly easy one before the rain hit. A decent hike up to this point though.
I've put more of the details of our trip into Pindar, but for this one, Raja and I told the group to wait while we charged into the bush.
We made it to GZ, and fortunately the co-ordinates were pretty good. Started the search, with which the cache size really helped. It wasn't long before Raja made the find and discovered some serendipitous trinkets inside too!
Took some photos then returned to the group.

31/12/2016 Found with pk1965 on our walk from Wondabyne to #4 "Wonderful". Much better than the board game version of Monopoly, in my humble opinion! Thanks For The Cache cphoenix and Bateau Bay Bandit.
Heading up to Pindar today from Wondabyne with a bunch of friends we know thru the kids' school for a school hols hike. Some cachers, but most are muggles so all us cachers (team Ricardo and us novos) got together for this one and invited the muggles who cared to come help make the find. We had about 3 big people and 10 kids onto it so made the find pretty quickly ..and it was me again ha
This is our first find of the Monopoly series actually. We DNFed *The Angel Islington* ages ago out at Rumbalara and I note most of the GCs in the series are archived so I guess we are late players but nice to find a large container up in this cool little spot ..and I think we might just be converting more muggles too? We'll see!

Found 9:43 AM with BrotherColin. I dropped off some stickers. BrotherColin had organised a group adventure to knock off some caches that would include the Great Train Heist, W, Pindar cave and this one. So we started from Koolewong. At Koolewong station it was just BrotherColin and I. But we soon found MrRoo and Geokrew on the train that we caught to go to Hawkesbury River (this was after grabbing some detail for the Train Heist). So after completing the caches W and the Great Train Heist we headed to this cache with MrRoo and without GeoKrew as they had turned back after the Heist. MrRoo had already found this so it was up to BrotherColin and I to go in and search for it. It didn't take too long to locate and we soon had the log signed and the cache returned to its hiding spot.
Thanks for the cache.

Today was the day to help out the Sheriff Plodfoot find the stolen train. We did not let the forecast for rain this arvo hold us back on this important mission.
A party of four newly Deputised recruits including Mr Damage, Mr Roo, The GeoCrew and myself met up to solve this mystery.
With the train found and being returned to town by The Geocrew the remaining 3 Deputies headed inland to find another couple of caches. ( only 2 of us needed to find this one. )
A short search before spotting it.

Tiring day but well worth it. We set out with a lovely group of fellow geocachers for the day.
24/7/16. 10:54 AM. Cache #4046.
3rd of 5 finds today - Wondabyne & Patonga.
12 of us were on a group expedition to "Pindar"; 7 had gone ahead down that track while 5 of us detoured to get a certain trainy multi. Once we'd found that and rejoined the main track, alnic39, bella at waggy, Martin cousins, Team Canary and I needed to catch up with the rest of the group, but we made one more side track to this one.
Hmm, lots of rocky overhangs here, but where would a large fit? I was in the right place and soon made the find, resting the bucket onto the rocks with an emphatic thud. Some of the guys had already found this years ago, but a couple of us signed. I then replaced and we forged on ahead to rejoin the rest of the group on the way to "Pindar". TFTC.

After an easy find at "W" and with plenty of time to kill, I continued climbing. All the recent wet weather has made the fire trail something of a quagmire in places.
Once at GZ, I began looking in what seemed a likely spot but drew a blank, but when I looked up I immediately spotted the cache. Wow, it's been a while since I've seen one that big!
On the way back down to the station, I decided to explore a side trail that goes east off the track at the National Park sign. After negotiating a fallen tree and another bog, I eventually came to an odd little structure across a stream where the trail ended. I'm curious to know what that was for.
Thanks for an enjoyable hide and a nice walk on what turned out to be a pleasant sunny day.

As I was invited to do the latest MrNoo17 adventure with DocWho and the GeoKrew, we decided a pause in trekking was warranted while I grab this one. Thanks to good coords it didn't take long but I did wake a golden orb spider getting there.

Nice rainy day find, inside cache is a bit mouldy, didn't have pen so didn't sign log. TFTC!
Have been thinking about finishing the Monopoly Series for a while. So when I received an SMS from the xPhenoms arrived asking did I want some exercise. Why not I thought nice walk and the chance to find the remaining caches along the way to Wondabyne. We were dropped off at the trailhead on Woy Woy road around 0600 by the better looking half of the xPhenoms, Started off down the long and winding trail past Pall Mall which I had already found. Great Cache. TFTC
Another quick find on our walk to Woy Woy. Cache is sodden but was great fun to find.
Thanks cphoenix for the caches along the walk.

A nice big container to find. Got a bit worried when I thought I might have to go a fair distance in to get this one but thankfully it wasn't as bad as I expected. Things inside the cache were damp.

My first find for the day on our 4Ws walk. Cache was a little moist and mouldy but not too bad. It's well sheltered so we left it a bit unsealed to dry out more. TftC
What a nice spot with an outliok over the valley. Found with the "4 W's" group.SL TFTC

Found on the 4 'W's walk. With the whole group now, just climbed up the hill and came off the track. Nice view from up here. Shame about the contents being rather damp though! TFTC!!!
At the top of one hill on the Event walk, we had a small detour for a quick wet find.

Found with the 4w's. A great walk along the ridge after climbing out of the valley from Wondabyne. Views across the top of the south, west.
Enroute to Pindar Cave with a homeschooling hike group.
Getting very mouldy inside. Everything is still very wet except the new log book.
