First find on this lovely warm day! Hiked up from wondabyne and passed by some nice groups. Planning to go to kariong Falls, but we'll see how it goes. Tftc
Love these caches: bit of bush bashing from the path, nice rock area to discover. The conrainer and contents of this one were a bit all over the place, scattered around GZ. An annoying human or animal must have played around with it. No more lid, but main container still usable. I put everything back in it, as far as possible and rehid the cache like it seemed fit. Could use some TLC from owner or next finder (bring medium/large container). Tftc!
Had a great time walking the trail from Wondabyne to Woy Woy. We knew this time to be in the correct carriage . When we approached GZ, we did a bit of back and forth looking for a geotrail. Not finding one, we chose the most accessible route at the rocks by the trail. A bit of rock hopping in and the cache was quickly found, TFTC!
Continuing my walk from Bond Street, found the narrow goat track just around the bend. Plenty of rock boulders to play here, easily found when I peeked inside, thanks for the hide
Quick find on my way hiking from Wondabyne to Woy Woy station. Lots of ups and downs but a really enjoyable trail

This is a really good spot, lots of nice rocks here and a great cave that the cache is in. Awesome views. OCW pigeoncam and Sopty100. TFTC
Beautiful day for a walk. 2 hours from Mooney creek parking on old Pac hwy. Slight detour on route to Pindar. Cache lid is a bit cracked but still sound. Awesome spot!
Needing a pair today, I moved onto this one from Bond St. That was the plan, and all is going well. I measured it last night, and it came up as 7.8km walk, but i measured 9.1 km return to Woy Woy Rd, head of Thommos Trail today. The cache was well hidden, and as i approached GZ from above, i was thinking i was too high. On looking for a way down from my current boulder, i turn and think, "That would be a cool hide". Soon had cache in hand. All is good with this one, though container is getting brittle. Certainly feeling it now sitting at home writing this log. TFTC.
The majority in the hiking party heading towards Pindar Cave for the event had either found this cache previously, or was not planning on making a find today. That left just a few off us who peeled off the main group and headed further up the firetrail towards the next track leading to the cache.
We watched the compass until it was pointing perpendicular to our track and then found a bit of a feint geotrail towards GZ. It didn't take long to find some rock outcrops where the container was spotted in its hiding place.
Names were added to the log sheet, the container was stowed back where it had been, and we were soon heading back towards the turn-off track towards Pindar Cave.
I'm glad we made this short detour for another old cache. Who knows when I'll next be in the area.

So today was the day to go to wondabyne and do the Pindar cave adventure event. It was a long awaited event and back when it was first published I don’t think I would have had the fitness to get it done. Today was a different story and although I wasn’t able to run along the trails I did make it up and out and back.
Seemed like a logical detour as we were running early for the 12:30 group photo at Pindar cave so we nipped in to grab this one. Found it in good condition, then raced back out to the fire trail and found where it goes off to Pindar cave. TFTC

Visiting Wondabyne for the Pindar Cave event today, before taking the path to the cave, a few of us made our way to get this cache first. Nice little hidey spot. Thanks.
Big walk to Pindar Cave today. As I opted not to take the train I had to start from Woy Woy Road. This included a fair bit of the Norhtern walk before even getting to the Pindar trail. Walked 27 km in ttotal with a few caches along the way and a great event at the Pindar cave with a really good turn out. Now at home feeling sorry for my sore muscles!

A group of us were headed for the event at Pindar cave. As this cache was not far from the turnoff to the cave a small group of us decided to look for the cache. It was quickly found and we were on our way to link up with the main group. Thanks for placing the cache.
Taking my oldest son for a walk out to explore Pindar Cave and we decided to play some monopoly on the way.
The younger cacher loved finding this one in an awesome spot. Grabbed a special item and moved on.

The novos out today on Thommos Loop along the GNW to the Rifle Range Firetrail junction north of Wandabyne in search of some lockdown recreation. It was a very warm and still day - doesn't get much better!
This section of the GNW is pretty tough. Most people today (and there were lots) were either doing the full loop back to Woy Woy Road or just doing a return trip to Kariong Creek about 2kms east of here. Out over here on the other side of the creek crossing was pretty quiet but we did bump into a guy at the Myrun Brook crossing coming the other way who had just come from Scopas Peak. He recently received a tip-off that there is an old rock-pile trig there so he was out trying to find it. He did find a pile of rocks about knee high but he's doubtful it was a trig as he'd described something that was head height, which in our experience finding the old cairn ones that would be right. He was a retired builder and spends a lot of his time out on trails tracking down trigs. Pretty cool! I would LOVE to find a trig not recorded on GCA I would consider that an honour!
The crew were running low on water whilst still about 800m from GZ so they decided to halt at the rocky outcrop just as we finally completed the climb up, while I continued solo up to the junction and then back to this cache. I was surprised to find a great hide and a nice retro cache tucked away to boot as the previous one (Pall Mall) we could not find and with GZ being in such a muggly spot it just lowered my expectations in a big way. Nope not anymore; this oldish stash is a classic and I'm glad I have finally made it out here to claim a find. I SL right under Banj, left a PT, dipped our [novo Jasmer geocoin](https://coord.info/TB7AXHF), and replaced as found to continue back along the trail to the next one before meeting back up with the rest of the novos. TFTC, cphoenix and Bateau Bay Bandit. We are back to even.

I found it unusual seeing names from London this far away in Australia. I used to live an hour from London before I moved to Sydney a month ago.
This was was tricky to get to - definitely worthy of the terrain rating. Surprised it's only a D2 however, as it took a lot of searching in a great number of places. Still paranoid about those snakes, but I managed to find the cache without any reptiles nearby. Cool little hiding spot here, TFTC.

Nice bush bash to final location, really cool little cache location. I wonder how you find these spots... Thanks for placing
Our second find of the day was this one, and after reaching the GNW we decided to walk about 800m further so we could find 2 more caches. We bashed through the scrub after finding the closest point on the path, and found the cache very easily with the hint. TFTC!
Took about 30 mins to find this one as the gps was all over the place and no obvious binding spots that stood out from the many others. Tftc tnln
Fangsoki and Pprime (P') and I were on a road trip for Easter to the Mega Event and had a list of caches that we wanted to get while we were away.
We were on the way back from the Challenge cache and heading for the station and still had some time to spare to make a detour down the winding path to get to this one.
We found the cache in such an isolated place after a bit of a search.

Fangsoki, Crew153 and I are from Brisbane down for the GeoMuster Mega and today we chose to travel by train to Wondabyne and wander up the escarpment and along to Scopas Peak. This wasn't a target, but a short side trip on the return journey was called for and after a little bit of a bush bash to get to GZ (how the heck did you find this spot?) a great hidey hole was revealed. Awesome.

On our way back from the nearby Challenge, we deemed it would be plain rude not to zip down and grab this one.
Down down down we went and then somewhat bush for a bit. It was Pprime that found the well-protected prize. A great little place for a cache. TFTC cphoenix and Bateau Bay Bandit

Geodad really liked this hide. Very clever. We missed it on the first pass. Geodad enjoyed GZ and spent quite some time looking at the flora in the area.
Third find of the day, this cache did not disappoint! Very clever location, hint is very accurate. Did require a bit of bush bashing but was told by west's tigers fan that I managed to find an easier and much less scratchy path than he initially made. Still scratchy though! Tftc!

After dealing with a nearby Mullet, I headed off to track down some monopoly caches on this perfect winter's day. Found with TOMBI!, and Orsome86 doing some interesting D/T combinations. TOMBI! and I had started a set of caches but when Orrsome86 rang we changed our aim and starting out doing the Great Train Heist, intending to finish at upper Mullen as one car was parked there, for a WPnt. After traveling back and forth to find the Heisted Train, we got off at Wynboine and followed the GNW back to the car (about 9.5 Km as you walk), finding all the Monopoly caches on the way TFTC cphoenix

Tombi put the call out to see if anyone was interested in finding a train robber and a few other caches. Initially I didn’t think I would be able to assist, however a change in circumstances meant I could make the journey. So a day of adventures ensued with train rides and a big hike and a few difficult caches tackled.
This was the fourth cache we found. We walked along the track from Mayfair. Along the way we met a very talkative chap who was boiling a billy and having a break from his hike. He suggested a place to have lunch with a view. So we followed his advice and had a nice lunch overlooking Mooney Mooney Creek. After lunch it was time to continue on as we still had some ground to cover. We turned off the fire trail onto the great north walk. It was short hike and we arrived at the GX where the cache was located fairly quickly. TFTC

Coming back from Pindar, phlphotos and I decided that we would not make it to the train, so we ventured in the other direction and let our fellow cachers make a run fro the train. Great spot. Coordinates were pretty much spot on, but the most obvious looking rock should help if things are not accurate.

Returning from Pindar Cave, I had a bit of time to kill before the next train so headed up the track a bit to attempt this cache. I missed the bit of a geotrail from the track to GZ and ended up battling some very thick and spikey undergrowth before reaching the rocky outcrop where the cache was quickly found.
It's good to see this old one still going strong and in such good nick. Many thanks.

Did Bond st and Pall Mall on the way here. This is the longest, hardest walk I have had for a cache so far. Almost gave up a couple of times in the way due to the steepness of the track in places, mainly around the creek crossings. Glad I pushed on but honestly not looking forward to the hike back. Left a camping multi tool, you act and a deck of cards. Nice hide, I had to be carful as there was a large family of ants making their home under the container.

After a stroll to Pindar cave and back, this was too close to let go by... The six hundred odd metres from the turn off, mostly with an up hill gradient were challenging enough but the climb back up to the firetrail after the find required a pause in the middle... Great coords made for a fairly quick find thank goodness, signed the log and headed back.

Have been thinking about finishing the Monopoly Series for a while. So when I received an SMS from the xPhenoms arrived asking did I want some exercise. Why not I thought nice walk and the chance to find the remaining caches along the way to Wondabyne. We were dropped off at the trailhead on Woy Woy road around 0600 by the better looking half of the xPhenoms, Started off down the long and winding trail past Pall Mall which I had already found. I failed to add this one to my saved list and spent a good 10 minutes searching for signal to find it. I was lucky my boy reminded me that we were missing one off the list or I would have kept going :p
A slight bash through thick shrubs, all the while looking down for any wiggly sticks that might be in the area. Once the caching duties were complete I sent a text to my wonderufl wife and enjoyed a cup of coffee from the thermis. The caffeine kicked in almost immediately.
I like these types of hides. The cave is full of soft white sediment too. This one involved a bit more bush-bashing than the previous two. Then it was onward towards Wondabyne Station where I would find my final cache before the long hike back. Thanks cphoenix & Bateau Bay Bandit.
What a place to hide a cache, I loved this bush walk, but legs didn't, I got 3 of the caches on this trail to Patonga. I would suggest others bring their bikes and chain/hide them at this cache for an easier return to Staples Lookout. My walk to Old Kent Road and back took 3hrs today with a few side track explorations and relaxation at the beautiful Waterfalls near Pall Mall cache. Plenty of frog-mouthed caves to see, most with very evasive geckos. Bumped into a pro walker with all the hiking gear, also some mountain bikers who were really sorry they tried this trail from Patonga back to the Loop Track, its not bike friendly at all. Overall, thank-you for bringing me here, and that's a few more of the monopoly series done, looking forward to the others that are closer to Patonga, I think ill take the Kayak to those ones!

We were soon proven wrong and spent a long time carrying and pushing the bikes over the real rocky terrain. I have been wanting to do these caches for a long time and today was perfect, the GeoDad had the day off and the sun was shining. There really is some beautiful bushland around here and would definitely walk the track again (without bikes!!!) Saw a few other keen walkers on the tracks whilst on the journey. Thanks for a great cache. Found with SuperAdvancedMedia, missluckie and the rest of the family
Found as part of 1000th cache bush walk today starting with the "W" after getting off the train at Wondabyne and walking out to Pall Mall return which was 9.5km in just under 3 hours (if you dont make 3 hours its then 4 hours as the train only stops every hours). We made it back in just under an hour from Pall Mall and at one stage thought we would miss the train as coming down the last section of track to the station we could hear the squel of the train wheels on the tracks. We began running as best we could but it turned out to be the north bound train which is 6 min ahead of the south bound train so when we realised this we pushed on, crossed the tracks, up on to the platform with a few minutes to spare.
We turned off the main fire trail and headed to this one. With about 28m showing on the GPSr we picked up a bit of a geotrail and headed bush. We soon found the rocks and a well hided cache tucked around the corner in its hide. Completed the signing duties and replaced. We then continued on for the next one. TFTC
