After planning a weekend camping trip with geosister H423L two weeks ago to grab 3 FTFs this one was Missing the sign for the way point. H423L reached out from a previous finder to get corrected coordinates

Finally able to grab this multi after reaching out to a previous finder for the final coordinates. Unfortunately with the information signs missing this was the only way. Found with Hellyonfire on an epic weekend. TFTC
Found during our trip to Redbanks for a couple of nights. Couldn't find WP1 so we called a previous finder to help us out. Cache all in good condition. Thanks for the cache jalaw!
We had 3 adults and 2 mini cachers looking, but we couldn’t find stage 1. I don’t think our caching brain had quite engaged for the day.
A revisit to Redbanks on the last day of our third tour of the beautiful area around Burra.
Many thanks for the cache jalaw

A quick Multi while searching for Megafauna in the area, the kids loved running around the area
Tftc. Always love Redbanks conservation park. GPS played up making finding interesting.
Found It!
I came here a couple years ago but there was someone camping only meters from WP1. Today I came back to find just a parked car at WP1. So I quickly found the required info and set off to GZ. A nice little walk and a quick find once at GZ!

After a few weeks of working on assignments, I was glad for an opportunity for a caching trip up to Clare. Meeting up with Leighside Legands we got an early start on the day, picking up a few caches on the way, before heading to the lunchtime event. After all the social obligations were met (and photos of Ben were snapped) we headed out for the afternoon. The rest of the day was an enjoyable one, picking up plenty of earth caches and some quality sights were seen before we finally headed back to Adelaide at around 7:30.

Went a little north today for a change with Jack and Sebastbat.
Like the last group of cachers, some help was needed. WP1 may have suffered...
After seeking advice from previous finders we found your cache along the way!
Great views in this park. Nice walk too.

How to find a cache when you've no idea how to do it? Go out with others who walk the walk. And enjoy their company. Thanks hevwalker, CPWanderer, Froghoppin, 3LG,
jamballdonut.
jamballdonut.
Found after attending the Burra Breakfast event, with a group of others. Thanks for the cache!
After attending a breakfast event at Burra it was time to grab a cache or 5. Jamballdonut and myself joined up with CPwanderer, froghoppin, hevwalker & skuzzybear to locate this one. Thanks to others in the group for getting us to the end.

Arrived at this with Froghoppin, 3LG, hevwalker, Skuzzybear and jamballdonut. Fortunately Froghoppin had noted the problem with this one from recent logs so had contacted a previous finder for assistance. Lovely location and a quick find at the GZ. Needs checking to sort out the problem at WP1.
We had the same issues as the last lookers - couldn’t find anything at the first WP
If you don't pick it up the first time around don't short cut to get it. It cannot be accesses via a strait line from the camping area. All ok TFTC
We're on our way to the Mega at Alice Springs and traveling all the back roads finding some great camps along the way.
Cache is in fine condition with pretty good Coords.
We'll be attempting some of the trails around the area and seeing some great sights too.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache jalaw.

After a log check we were wondering if we also would DNF, when F said what under here? First stage located but looking a bit rusty & wet, replaced with a new see-thru tube (see photo) and we were off to the Final, which was in good condition but exposed, so gave it some cover. TNLN

Stumbled across this one (wasn't looking for it). Noted that others have not been able to locate since, so will need to go back and check coordinates
day out driving around with TheKellyGang doing a few different caches around the areas TFTC
searched around GZ no luck but then Phone service in patches in the area was great cause then I could ring talk to a friend to give GeoVicky a hint. Just where we had searched previously just need to think a little harder and search a bit more. Yes found the co ordinates but only with a iPhone in hand and still unsure on how to put way points in and they stay in your Phone frustrated me cause GeoNigel and squash99 off walking had GPS's. Just when I thought I had put the way points in my phone I thought I had done it so off walking but no it did not work I was walking back in circles to GZ. Grrrrr!!! Geonigel and Squash99 on their way back from their stroll, so messaged them the co ordinates so they could find it on their way back, yes they did. Still could not work out how to lock the way points into iPhone until we were at the Netball at Burra and finally Geonigel said I know how to save the next way point into phone so now we know even tho did not need way points at netball bit TFTC.
Unfortunately I didn't find this one. Maybe next time?
Didn't find the first waypoint.

Touring Australia having left Perth in late February we are leisurely touring South Australia.
Staying overnight at Burra Showgrounds before moving closer to Gawler. Today was a very late start to the day after a very cold night.
Departing camp at around 10.30am we headed for Redbanks conservation area. Where Mr Felix did the loop walk whilst Mrs Felix headed back towards town to grab some other smilies.
We both found the waypoint for this before Mr Felix headed off on his not quite 2 hour walk to collect the info for the earthcache and collect this smilie on the way around. Lovely area.
An interesting day, so much history has been preserved to share here in Burra. A very lovely town indeend.

On drive through Burra area stopped for a visit here. Did walk and stopped for cache. Took a while to find first WP but eventually got there. Took TB. Walk was good and quite pretty with the water in the creek. Well worthwhile.
The first container took a few minutes but after it was found we took the walk to GZ and made the find. Took pathtag. Thanks for bringing us here.

Found by edmil & maddie. We had camped overnight, unfortunately next to a wild bee hive; needed to move in morning. We decided the cache was just to good to pass up so we walked from the Mallee camping ground. We found the first waypoint easily and then the cache soon after. No swap was made but log was signed and we left one of our pathtags. The area is fantastic and well worth the visit. We ended up also doing the loop walk; again worth it. Thanks for the cache.
Found wp1 but didn't have the GPS to get GZ which can't be far away. A very interesting area, we enjoyed the 5k walk.
A nice cache in a nice park. Both stations were reasonable easy finds and there was no trash around. TFTC
Thought we would do some caching while camping at

A fairly simple find made easier because we had the place to ourselves. A really interesting spot but as the sun was setting we opted not to do the nearby earthcache. We will come back some day and complete the full walk. Thanks for bringing us here.
Could not find anything at WP1. Kids and I looked for a good 1/2hour. There was a pile of reedy rubbish that looked like it had been dumped there, which was close to WPS, maybe the co-ord container was under it
sigh. was with a group of muggle friends who weren't keen. couldn't even find the first cache. oh well next time.
Found by Mr O in the company of previous finder AdrianMc just after sunset. We'd just set up camp in the camping area, had tea and a few beers so thought, "Why not?". No trouble finding, in spite of the slight impairment to our finding abilities . TFTC.
Nice easy find in a beautiful area. Gotta love impromptu camping trips when visiting the folks for christmas:)
What a stuff up for me ,I walked right past the final as I was doing the Megafauna and had to do another 250mt once I had got the co-ords from the first gz area.tftc
Found WP1 on our first walk around - funny how you sometimes miss things (no matter how many caches you may have found) [B)].
A very interesting place to visit that's been on our list 2 or 3 times before, but never been able to make it here - until now [^].
Took mouse. Left spiky pig. SL.
Thanks jalaw.

found Wp1 no worries and GZ. Found as part of our megafauna mystery walk. Thx Jalaw for the cache.
Did not find the cache as we couldn't find anything at the listed coords. Both of us spent about 30 minutes looking around a 20-30 meter radius, wondering how accurate the coordinates are. It's a pity, as I doubt we'll have reason to come out this way again.
The country is looking so much better after recent rain. Found late in the day. Wonderful location .

This was one of two caches that attracted me into this area. Many years ago, while working for DENR, I heard about the Redbanks area. If I remeber rightly it was described as a badly eroded piece of land and good for nothing. This visit proved otherwise, it is an area of beauty and diversity.
All is well. We have added some pictures to the gallery of what can be found and seen here. Saw 3 Echidnas together here today. Jalaw
The skies had cleared by the time we arrived out here, and I was glad of it. A simple little multi and a nice walk. So nice that we got all of 50m back out towards the road before deciding to go back and do the whole walk. I'm very glad we did, it was beautiful.
Windy and cold up on top of the cliffs, but so peaceful and sheltered down by the creek. Saw plenty of big reds and plenty of wrens. Also spied some fossils in the making, at various stages. The emu is quite fresh.
Definitely a recommended walk, and it only took us around the hour mark, not the 2 predicted by the overly generous NPWS. Thanks for dragging us out here.

A great place. Loved it so much that we ended up walking the whole trail. We loved it even more that we planned an Earth cache for the area as well!
The walk to GZ was easy, and just a matter of following the posts. From there it was more a case of following the gravel.
The walk took just over an hour including stopping to read the signs, taking photos, and sitting at the water holes, so all in all it's not a hard walk, with most of it being flat or down hill.
A great place that more people should visit. There are even signs of more fossils being created here, with a dead emu being spotted on the dry river bed.
Thanks for bringing us out here.

Out and about with friends from my Camera Club...found this one no trouble...great spot.
Was not on the direct path of where we were going but close enough for a detour seen a bit of wildlife as we entered. TFTC
Now I know why they called this Redbanks.....!!! They had just graded the roads and for a moment thought it was the middle of summer as there was so much dust around.... Short stroll to GZ and on the road again.... TFTC
Quite a drive on the back blocks to get to this one from Ding Ding came out at a gate at the back of someones property . We then sought directions, seemed like the courteous thing to do and were on the right road in no time. Very dry out there currently and doesnt look an appealing place to camp unfortunately. We found the cache after a short search. Thanks for placing the cache as we had not visited this area before and can imagaine how nice it would be when there is some water around.
If we had gone home from Burra without doing this one, it would have left it sitting there like an annoying blip on an otherwise clear radar , and we couldn’t have that!
Both the first waypoint and the final cache were easy finds and we enjoyed the short walk in this great bush setting. The flies were out in force today which prompted us to vow to make sure the fly nets reside permanently in the car [^]. No swaps. Cheers Jalaw

Lovely spot to sit and consume our picnic lunch. That creek must be awesome in full spate. Sadly not a drop today. There has been some showers and there is a little bit of green pick.
Found on a wekend of easter bush camping. We had wondered about camping out here bu it really is so dry and bare we decided we had made the right decision by staying at burra creek gorge instead. But we visited and found the cache anyway (and were amazed that after 3 months Astro had been on the same day).Left a lizard and took a smiley. TFTC
It was hot, dry, red and dusty. Any water that is spilt around is sucked up so quickly. I reckon even the trees would be chasing the dogs here.
Clear skies from TeamAstro [^]
I used to drive past here all the time, when working further NW, so it was a great trip back down memory lane, well the start of it anyway. Never actually been in here, would be tempted to come back camping if there had been some reasonable rain in previous months, but very hot and dry on this occasion. Easy find, TFTC

After traveling all the way from Adelaide we could not find the first WP1. 2 of us spent a good hour looking around. For a difficulty of 1 we must have been missing something. The thoughts that we had was "just tell us where the final gz is".
It may be that the WP1 is still there but we could not find it. Cheers from the Posspet Boys

Took a while for us to find WP!, but then had a nice little walk and gz was an easy find. This was a great area, wouldn't mind coming back here. Looks like the camping area would be a nice quiet spot to stay.
Thanks jalaw, enjoyed this one.

Just checking, made 1st co-ordinate container less likely to be damaged in future. Cache box exchanged for one less likely to allow water in. Thats if is rains.
I didn't find the first wpt as quick as the others did, i was looking in the wrong places. I did end up adding the container into a slightly larger container hoping it should stay drier.
I walked along the track but the strong winds must have kept all the wildlife away.
The campground doesn't look too bad, at least it's very quiet.
Took fish I think and Left a Kangaroo
Thanks Jalaw
