Sorry, I went out there without the most up todate info. I too found the remnants of the cache.
Had to go down a road that has a certain sentiment to me.

I should change the name to Bananas Gone.Smile.

There is nothing left of the hiding spot or anything within 20 metres.

I have retrieved the remains of the cache but couldn't find the log book, the Jeep TB or other contents.

I will monitor the area and hopefully there will be a new cache somewhere in this bushland when the area rejuvenates a bit more.

The cache is gone. The field of play has been demolished. Found the cache pieces. Images attached. Suggest some maintenance may be required.

26-Oct-07
I will look at replacing the cache in the next week.

9th sort of find for the afternoon, like dak's before us we found the camo'ed remnants of the cache container piled nicely for us to find. I too am going to make a log despite the lack of a log book. Unfortuneately the TB also seems to have been muggled?, Buried deep in the slashed ground or taken by somebody else Sad. TNLNSL. TFTC, may need to temporarily move this cache GZ to a more hidden area.

#9 of 10 finds on a pleasant night in Brisbane, in which 90% of the finds were on Crew 153 caches (thanks Max Smile). I found this one at 2335. There has been a fire in the vicinity, and a bulldozer has been through and laid waste to the area. I found around 10 pieces of a 1.2L Sistema box with the distinctive Crew 152 green camo paint on them. I didn't find any other contents like the log book or swaps. It looked like it had been mangled by the bulldozer. I'm logging
the find, because I did find the cache, albeit in pieces. I left the bits in a small pile next to the small garden shed. Obviously, I made no exchange. Thanks to Crew 153 for the cache. Cheers, dak.

I couldn't find this on my first attempt so I went and did forgotten garden and then came backand found it pretty much straight away, I loved the flying foxes over the back, I didn't sign the log book because I donated my biro to forgotten garden, TNLN Thanks for bringing me here.

Easy find although Big Mama wasn't impressed being in under all of the trees.

There were heaps of fruit bats in this area.

You don’t have to wander around and get scratched like I did looking for the cache. Wink I was that bad I had to wash the blood off in case someone thought I had got into a fight. (They were only small scratches but lots of them)

Found by Sunshine Toledo at 10:22am. This was difficult to get into as could find no tracks. I found a better way out though. TNLNSL TFTC

Not exactly where I would have expected and only noticed after a little circling around to check out the area for nasties. Nobody out in the backyards today so an easy walk in and out. TFTC Big Grin

I did not see the Jeep TB?

Find 32 of 33 caches today

This cache was found at the end of a long caching day. It was now 6pm and we were needing the torches to find this one. Was a littly creepy sneaking around the backs of peoples houses with torches while we heard them preparing dinners. With the help of the cache name we soon had the loot in hand. TNLN

An easy find early in the morning. Just heating up and getting sweaty.
Cheers from Posspet Boys.

Hi - found quite easily - although i must say I really hate creepy crawlies. There was no pen in the cache and I forgot to bring one so I couldn't sign the log! Red Face Could the next visitor please bring a pen along and leave it in the cache? I left a travel bug just to prove I did find it. TFTC.

Once you find the right place to park you won't go bannas at all.TFTC.

Mr MadMyers found it out on a night geocaching adventure with many others including MrNanks. TNSL

I'm gonna have to get me one of these "sniffer Nanks" they work a treat!

17-Jan-07
After guiding my following convoy on a wild goose chase trying to find a suitable parking spot, we went for a short wander to locate the cache. No point us all going into the undergrowth, so Mr Nanks was designated cache snifferouterer - he boldy retrieved the cache, we all signed the log and found our way back to the cars.

I left a pen (which ended up in Mr madmyers hand - I think?)

After being appointed the designated guinea pig, I headed in to look for the cache, while Rogainer, Astro Boy and Mad Ray Myers stood back and watched me dive in. A quick find in a pocket of bush. Thanks Crew153 for our 525th find.

We were on the way to Garden City for a spot of shopping and I thought we might have time for a few quick caches. Razz Mrs Ink guided us to an easy access road so we went for a quick walk to get this cache and The Forgotten Garden.

This was a nice easy find after we made our way through the jungle.

Sorry Crew - we missed doing our 600th on one of your caches by one. This was our 601st. Very jungley in here and Mrs Nosugref wanted one of the suckers. But she has no luck, I'm not tearing up someone else's garden for her. Took and left nothing today. Thanks Crew.

This was my last find on today .... a very "Crew" day. I admit to checking the best access point on a drive by a week or so ago but today was the day. How adorable. It seems funny to come upon a mown grassy area in the midst of this jungle. It will be interesting to see how this develops, thanks for showing us here Crew. I hope the people who live next door won't start to get worried about people hunting around near their property. I left a Jeep travel bug and some decorative pebbles and took a tape measure (which is a great swap, thanks to whomever put it in there). Thanks for the cache, Crew.

I too, found this one in the rain. Sure is nice to see the stuff falling again. Took a squishy ball and left a golf ball. The hardest thing about this cache is finding a way in. I love it when you walk to the end of the road and "oh, there's a track Smile" Then, the track looks like running out and you're thinking, "I've still got a long way to go Sad" So, you turn a corner and "hey, I reckon I can get through there Smile". I really like geocaching [^]. Thanks for another great location Max, but I do wonder how you found it. Perhaps it's where you used to have a smoke on the way home from school??? Wink

Arriving at this a-peeling cache I thought I must have gone bananas [:o]
It was raining cats and dogs. I had waded through a poodle to get to GZ. Now I found myself diving into the rain soaked jungle to retrieve some treasure Big Grin
All in a days caching I suppose [^]
TFTC.

really well named ... when we walked into the area i was waiting for tarzan to come swinging through the trees ... very jungle looking and how about those nanies. TFTC

17-Dec-06
Not sure how people every discover these places to put out caches in. We followed the track around and then I saw Bruce disappear into the jungle - I hoped he would come out with something more than bananas. TNLN. This one shouldnt get muggled. Thanks Crew 153

found at 11:40. My third cache for the day.

I explored this area a little before returning to GZ to locate the cache which i managed to do after a couple of minutes doing the scrub turkey thing.

A nice area. Thanks to Crew153 for the cache.

Easy find in a nice little spot - the nearby bananas are still a couple of weeks away from being ripe - never mind.

Took a coaster and left a tape measure. Thanks for the cache!

This was our 3rd of 27 caches for the day.

We initially went were TomTom sent us but decided not to get our of the car there as we didn't walk to walk through someones yard to get the cache. We then drove around to what looked like the best parking spot - but parking was impossible there. It was then on our 3rd choice of spots that we found the *right* place to park.

A short walk later and we arrived at GZ where the kids wanted to jump into the storm water drain - no we weren't about to let them do that, but they did play around that general area while Mum and Dad found the cache in the obvious location.

We got a FTF on this one! Yay! (although nothing off the scratchie this time). We took a squishy frog out and put a squishy ball in.
