Enjoying caching around New Zealand on our visit from the UK. As others have mentioned the log book is full but managed to squeeze in a log entry. TNLN. TFTC.
Staying nearby before going tramping. Log totally full, needs replacing.
Enjoying the West Coast hospitality. TFTC

Staying in Hokitika, took the GPS on a walk to the chippy shop and found ourselves walking straight past so had to take a look for the cache.
Easy find, lucky as the info was back at the camp.

An obvious and easy find but the log book is full and is very damp - needs maintenance desperately. TFTC.
Quick find - tried to dry the log a little. I stayed right opposite for two nights. TFTC

It took me two goes to get this one as a very slow moving muggle was wandering past.
Nice and easy apart from that
Thanks,

Handy having that seat there, isn't it. Quick grab, sign and replace. No swaps, thanks and cheers from Grandalf(1165)
After looking to hard we found it in the obvious place. Number 3 of the day. TNLN TFTC
2124. A quick find then we were heading back to Moana. As we got back into the car we spotted the moon rising through the clouds so we turned the car and sat for a few minutes watching.
Thanks

Quick find today on our journey down the west coast. Nearly to depart Hokitika. TFTC!
A quick find on a wet day before a visit to the greenstone shops. The cache was a bit damp, but the log was dry. TNLN Thanks Moneydork.
We approached this from the other side of the railway, so tried again today. Easy find, and we got a coin we didn't expect.
A quick easy find. A lingering smell from the shrub stayed with us for some time. Left a geocoin
Visiting from Orange County, California, on a 2-week biking/kayaking/hiking and backpacking adventure with Active New Zealand Active Adventures group throughout the South Island and picking up caches whenever I could wherever we stopped. Had a short rest break to shop for jade and have lunch in this quaint little town, so we took advantage of the few minutes we had and went hunting for this cache. My wife took pictures of the statue while I made the grab -- a quick and easy find. SLTNLN -- thanks for the fun, Moneydork...
We too in the tree ... thank goodness for electronic compass in the garmin 60CS !
tryed last night(with out lights) but unable to find so came back in morning and found

Quick and easy find, that left the butterfly saturated, not just from the West Coast rain either. Too wet to stop and read the information unfortunately today.
We are on holiday from Scotland, travelling south from Greymouth. Was convinced the tree was the obvious spot, but after a lot of searching realised we needed to look elesewhere. Then found it easily, and TNLN thanks.
Doh!! Another one that we had made entirely more difficult than it needed to be. Well spotted by PB when we were passing through tonight. TNLN
There didn't look to be a lot of hiding options here, so our first guess was correct. Great little cache and dash. SL. TFTC.
Also logging in and out our England Geocoin.

Had a quick look, but was too public during the day. Will try again when we are in town later in the evening
Found it. Would have been an easier find, if i had know the cache size. so I searched for micro places and its a small container. TFTC.
The easiest the more difficult-searched>30 mins-in vain. Next time better.

This was my last cache before breakfast! Was "rush" hour in Hokitika and I felt vey exposed, so had to pretend I was a statue inspector! My eyes did the searching and my hands performed a quick grab when all 247 muggles had their eyes turned away!
TNLN
Off to Cafe de Paris!!! Yum!!

Final check of tomorrow's plans before turning in for the night and I quickly realised this was less than 300m from where I was staying. So, quick trip down the road, wait a little bit for the local youth to yahoo their way down the street, and grab the cache. Wouldn't of got to sleep otherwise, knowing my nearest unfound cache was so close

Lots of traffic made it a bit harder, but got there in the end. Took the sheep and insect out as getting hard to shut the lid. Thanks.
Found while attempting "Tour of Hokitika" - hadn't realised that one had been archived and replaced by this (No wonder we struggled a bit and had to use some "extrapolation")
The statue has definitely been in the wars! Found it on the way back up the coast. TFTC Long-John
A lot of rubbish here. We did not feel too comfortable snooping around broken glass and stuf. Also, the poor man on the statue misses an arm and is shot through his hat.... ha ha ha.
Greetings from Holland.
In: Smiley teacup
Out: candle (we had to take something out in order to fit something new in...ha ha ha).

Wish the rain would stop - not good geocaching weather. Since this cache doesn't get a lot of visits, I will take Belinda TB to another location. Had to hunt a bit but it was where a geoacher would figure. Decided to mix up the contents and do a lot of trading:
- Hokitika post card
- TB Belinda
- tape measurer
+ Rugby sheep
+ scorpion paper weight
+ polished rock

Thanks for this nice cache. Found it after having a Chinese lunch in Hokitika.

A straight forward find while biking through Hokitika. Hard to be discreet though when you are wearing bike fluoro tops. Sorry to see that the pioneer is still missing one arm.
21.10: Back in Hokitika from Arthur’s Pass. This late find on a short walk after dinner was possible, because we slept on the other side of the road. The cache was there where we expected it.
Weather: overcast, light wind, 16°C;
Wheelchair: no problem!
IN & OUT: nothing.
Thanks!

11:48 am - Scrabbled a bit, but sense prevailed. Took ball, left cow. Hope the pioneer doesn't stay armless for long. TFTC.
Nice quick find on a day trip to the Glaciers, on a stunning Coast day. TNLN, cheers.

So where did his hand go? The picture shows him being complete. Nice quick cache across from our hotel. SL TFTC From Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, but living in Suzhou, China.
Alexander (5yo) found the cache quickly. He wanted to move the coin onto another cache so off we went.
yee ha found it without GPS, just puched it in to the GPS one day and sore on screen where it was and never got around to finding it, but I was walking past today and thought i'd see if i could find it and there it was.
