I looked this afternoon. And looked and looked and looked. I went away and came back and looked some more.
I can't find it.
I think that the Owner should sus it out.

No muggles about so searched all around - but no cache. However, enjoyed the walk and the views. Nice piece of sculpture. Pity really as this was our second none find of the day and is most unusual.
I didn't have luck with this one too. Late at the evining i have no problem to search the whole thing because there are only a few muggles around. But i don't have seen any trace of the cache.
Anyway it is a nice spot with a great view over the skyline plus a great view over lots thunderbolts in the sky from the approaching thunderstom.

We weren't here long when a Security man appeared. That cirtailed the search , so no find for us here today.
Thanks, Robmc.

Arrived at the Angle right in the middle of a big childrens birthday party. Got some funny looks so didn't pursue the hunt.Impressed with the spanners and moving anchor. Will try and locate magcache next time I'm in Sydney i(n a years time). Back to England tomorrow. Thanks for taking me to a spot I hadn't been to before.
Wonderful view, even in the rain. And excellent hiding method. The muggles in the area were too busy fishing to bother with me! Thanks.
2nd attempt on this one. As usual it was muggle central. Good to get it off the books - and to find a cache after such a long break!
It was staring me in the face.....what chances of grabbing this on Australia Day ????

Will try on a quieter day.

Our last find for the evening - nice and easy once the security guard got up and walked away. A lot of people fishing at a weird time of night.
Found it at 14:00. A very nice placed cache. I been ther many times because I live nearby but I never thought that there should be hidden something. Cache is in a good condition. I love the tiny pencil so cute.

I was working under the bridge for the day, so had to try this one - by the time the gps had found it's satellites, I had already found the cache - the best clue was "magnetic" nano. A great location, one where you need your camera!!!
Found it, and also a spider living on the lid.
I will go on a hunt for more tiny/flat things to put in micro caches in the near future. All these containers containing only a log and a pencil are not quite as satisfying as finding a cache containing swaps.

Even at 9pm in the evening I had to time my assult between passing mobs of Japanese Tourists, and in keeping with with their sterotype, a geocacher in the act of completing a geocache log sheet was captured on their digital video camera as part of the scene.
Then a bit of loitering before an inconspicuous replacement of the cache.

Our last day of our 3 wk holiday in Australia, off home to the UK (and the cold!!) tomorrow.
Another fantastic holiday and the first time caching!
Today we decided to see the bridge from the otherside, what a lovely park. Coach load of tourist had arrived when we found cache site so we had to be quick, in doing so Mr Co. bumped his head...... so apologies if "Angel" is damaged??!
Thanks for bringing us here!

OK so all starts well
My plan was starting to gel
Ride across the bridge didn’t mind
As with this easy find
It was the flat tyre
From an obscure piece of wire
The belting Nor Easter
That WASN’T up my keaster
And the driving rain
22km of it, you can feel my pain

Much easier at 8 pm than 8 am yesterday. The illuminated CBD was really worth seeing. Cache isn't nano but micro size.
Hi Mates!
My first find in Australia! Cool! In Sydney & Brisbane for business (mostly), and squeezed in a few geocaches. Had a pretty good idea where to find the cache, but had to wait for the right moment(s). Stayed in an apartment in Milson Point for a week, so this was a short walk for me after work. Love Sydney, great city. So much to do. The Bridge Climb was a blast! Got to bring the Mrs (TeddyBearMama) next time.

Easy find, but could not have retrieved it without the help of our 5 year old. He was very proud as a result.
Had walked to Lunar Park from McMahons Point so continued on to visit the Angel.
Unfortunately the batteries in the GPSr died before it could settle on something metallic so I had to start searching a wide area, but without luck.
A few people were around as it was a glorious night, and the views were spectacular as they usually are here. Enjoyed the Angel scuplture and took a few photos.
Hopefully I may be able to return when we next visit Sydney.
Cheers.

Found in the afternoon, just few mugglers around! What a wonderful place, thanks for showing us! Greetings from Italy!!!
Was able to nip over from the city at lunch to get this cache. Maybe there should be a 'best location' cache- this one is truly spectacular and well worth the visit. TFTC!
Finally!!
I stopped in on the way to work as it was a beautiful sunny Sydney morning. There was the occassional jogger and council worker in the area but nothing was going to stop me bagging this little beauty.
Signed and stamped log and left a 10 Euro coin.
Thanks mandaj for reactivating this cache.

an early morning find, and with a crash on the Harbour Bridge I may have been spotted by one of the three TV travel report helicopters that were buzzing overhead! On the ground it was fairly muggle free, so a nice quick find. Managed to leave a 10 Yugoslav dinar coin as a very small swap, then signed the nice, crsip new log. TFTC.
Ok people we have a green light on this cache again. It only took me an hour to replace the cache when a bus full of oldies got off a bus and then had lunch on top of the GZ - wouldn't you know it....
And now for something more serious:
PLEASE IF YOU ARE GOING FOR IT - USE YOUR STEALTH BRAIN!!
If there are people around please use caution - I think this time around if it gets muggled too quickly I'll be archiving it.
In the mean time enjoy the hunt and the views along the way.

Third and final find of a midnight caching run around that hotel I was staying at this night. I was surprised to encounter a number of fisher-muggles some 50m from the cache, and even more surprised when the first place I put my hand was exactly where the cache was. I heeded the previous maintenance note and took care with the lid, but I'd suggest putting that info in the cache description to be safe. I'm sure I'm not the only one who doesn't always read the full log history before going after a cache. TFTC.
Hi everyone - due to the ongoing mention of the tatty log I gave in and changed the cache container. The container is bigger and I've moved it to where it was originally.
It's now much easier to find and there shouldn't be too much issue with the log - but please remember to byo pen or pencil.
ALSO - VERY IMPORTANT NOTE FROM THIS POINT ONWARDS - PLEASE BE CAREFUL WITH THE LID OF THE CACHE - PLEASE ENSURE THAT YOU DONT LOSE THE MAGNET IN THE LID. WITHOUT THE LID THE CACHE CANNOT BE PUT BACK IN ITS PLACE.
Cache on!
Cheers

Tricky hide, but found in the end by a process of elimination. Relatively light muggle traffic at noon on a weekday.
The log sheet is in an ordinary state: it doesn't help that it has to be folded so much to fit into the container.
Nonetheless a nice caching experience, thanks.

I came down here yesterday with the geodaughter in tow with thoughts of nabbing this one but it was simply too wet the driving rain just would not ease up. So fortunately I was able to return today and have another crack at it. We had just given up and declared a DNF when Spindoc checked one more sneaky spot and what do you know!
It really is a tiny one, Thanks for the cache and hunt, suggest the owner replace the log as it is near full and well used.

This took a lot of searching. In the end it was in a fairly easy location, not the one half way up that caused the odd strange look from tourists as they passed by. Great hide in a great location.
The log is full on one side, but the paper is getting a bit tatty.

Second time lucky - tried this one a few months ago - however ground zero was covered in an inch thick of bogan moths - thought we would leave it for another day!! After a few minutes of searching we found the cache. Great hide. TFTC - Signed log.
Found at 1150. After searching high and low, trying to act as inconspicuous as possible, finally found it by getting into the right position and seeing it tucked away. Must of ran my hand over it a few times though. Nice hide. Great view points of the 'Opera House', and the 'Bridge' was pretty impressive to stand beneath. Thanks mandaj.

A great bit of climbable sculpture
I gained a great insight into the sculpture's meaning too
As you do when you spend the better part of an hour at the site
But I wasn't going to leave until either I found the cache or the nearby security guard came over to investigate

What and great spot for a cache, particularly of a sunny Sunday morning. We got there early to avoid the Muggles and it only took about 5 minutes before we came up trumps. Took 7 minutes to get the log back in the cache, and then we had to repeat the exercise as we had lost the securing force in the process.
All well now though but it really does need a new log

This was the last attempt for the day and the weather was definitely NOT on our side! The winds were starting to get violent but we decided to still have a crack at this one before heading home.
We were unsuccessful unfortunately. The winds were keeping the muggles at bay, but that wasn't the issue - it looked like every bogon moth in Sydney had decided to make the statue it's home that day! They were litterally piled up in big clumps in every nook and cranny, and if you acidentally disturbed a bunch, they would all come streaming out like minature bats from a cave! Gross!
They were far too dense and covered way too much of the statue to make a proper search possible, so we were forced to give up our hunt.
I for one welcome our new Moth overlords!!!
We'll head back for another search once I cam sleep at night again .....

This is surely one of the best vantage points on the harbour. I had a bit of time to kill and after a short search I found this nano cache. Nice sculpture. Thanks.
#3 of 4 finds on a mixed night in and around North Sydney (4 finds and 2 DNFs). I found this one at 1930. I loved the sculpture, but I wasn't looking forward to finding a magnetic nanocache on it. However, muggle traffic was light at this hour, and I was able to search without interruption. I found it after about five minutes. Finding it was one thing, getting the log sheet back in was quite another! I managed it after a couple of attempts. I made no exchange (obviously). Thanks to mandaj for the cache. Cheers, dak.
Would love to see the text changed on this one. There obviously isn't room for any keys in the actual cache. Took a few minutes to determine the absence of keys. Then I noticed that there was something there that wasn't rusty - and it was in exactly the place I would hide something if it was me. Nice one. TFTC.
My first of three on this trip down. Didn't know whether to search from the hint....or from what the previous finders said in their logs...?(regarding the size) So, just decided to do it both ways. I will say that if this truly is a key holder, then Aussies have the smallest keys in the world. Also, would love to see two pencils fit into this cache. At any rate, I had a fun walk from the city with terrific views. Waited out the muggles and enjoyed the art as well. A good hide to be sure! TFTC!!
Grabbed this one during an extended lunch break. Had to walk 500m past the cache and then back to be able to get to it but had a great view of it on the way! So small that I almost missed it. TFTC!
Looking for a cache of this size in this location must surely have the muggle population wondering what the hell we are up to!!!
A clever hide in a lovely spot - Mr Us used to work just up the road from this one.
Cache is most probably the smallest we have found in our 211 finds so far.

uh um...mandaj.
You certainly will be the one to archive your cache.
But you wont know unless we cacher's tell you - thats why the option "needs archiving" exists - so that cachers can notify owners of the obvious. In the case of this cache, it was easy to make such a call.

confirming its gone. Given the location and lack of nooks and crannys on the statue, I'm surprised it lasted as long as it did.
