Out for my daily drive and cache fix while in Brisbane spending some time with my aged mother. I'm currently at one of the stops on the Morayfield History Drive AL, and saw that there was another cache here ... bonus! A straightforward find thanks to the helpful hint. Thanks for a nice hide.
The not so little turmoils wanted to hang out at the Morayfield shops so I dumped them and then headed out along Caboolture River Rd for the AL and all the caches up to Rocksberg. I really enjoyed the scenery and found some awesome picnic areas along the way. Some were complete with access to the Caboolture River which will be a hit for us in the warmer months. An oldie even. Woohoo. What a hidden secret place for a picnic. I am looking forward to bringing the family out here one day.
We found this well hidden cache this morning. It is always nice to turn a previous dnf into a smiley. Thanks Rong for the hide in this lovely place. Fav for the location.
Out at this gorgeous place for the second time in a week... I had messaged with the CO and thought I could find it this time around based on the information I had gained but after half an hour I was still stuck. I gave in and PAF and finally found this one all in good order and as it should be... Very disappointed I couldn't get it on my own but appreciated the help... TFTC and a fav point because this is one of our favourite places to spend time with our family.
This one might need checking no one has found it since it was enabled and the co-ordinates seemed a bit off though it was cloudy today still should have been close if it was there. Only DNF for the day so that is not bad.

Came out looking for this oldie. Sadly came up empty handed. Great location anyway. Kids enjoyed the swim nearby
Unfortunately we did not find the cache today. The new coords put us on the road. We searched around in a wide radius but could not spot a cache.

Rong I found your cache Brown's Crossing on 2/9/2022, 12:40 pm. This is my find 4085 and find # 7 today. A quick and easy find with the help of the hint. Thanks for the cache, mate! TNSLLN
Not a planned geo-adventure today. Very unprepared to replace wet log. Took a picture of the log so not to damage it...
Yay to helping break the number of geocaches found.

A lovely park to visit, sad we had no picnic! Cache log was very wet, but managed to sign.
Our last day in Caboolture today. Had a few other things to do as well so satisfied ourselves with an Ad Lab and a dew traditionals on the way.
Set ourselves up with a tree fishing pole as there were a few Ad Lab bonuses that required this. Hadn't been able to do them when we did the actual Labs.
A lovely day!
Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache Rong.

We had planned a road trip to Queensland to visit family in 2021, but our travel plans were stalled due to border closures during the COVID-19 pandemic. Now that the world was trying to get back to a semi normal state, we decided to have another go at getting away from the cold and head up north for some sunshine and warmth.
Day 17 – Time to start heading home after farewells with the family. Headed to Mermaid beach today collection caches and labs along our journey as well as now playing another game.
All caches were found in good condition unless otherwise mentioned.
Log was replaced here as it was drenched.
Thanks for the hide Rong and keeping this hobby alive.

Well that was an experience. Had to go and see Buggy at home after complaints from Morporkians about his conduct. I think it’s fair to say that even though he’s only 6 inches high, the pent up aggression of humans is just squashed to fit into his body. Either way he’s a damn good copper. No one clears a street faster.
There were lots of people her today. We made a quick find after completing the adventure lab. Thanks for the cache
My wife gave me a day off since I have spent the last 5 days putting up Christmas tree, lights, and mowing all the grass at home, so I drove up here to locate this hide, which took me longer than it should have, found and replaced, Thanks Rong, it is in good condition
I had picked the Caboolture River Road area for my caching target for the day. It is a 1 hour drive from home to get here so I had worked out a plan based on the AL series and a number of caches along the way. This cache was on the list.
This was the furtherest along the road. A lovely spot which was being enjoyed by a few muggles. Some of them took off not long after we arrived with tyres screeching and yelling. The left the area in a mess.
I had no problem walking to the cache area and it was a quick find with no muggles in sight.

We found ourselves here again a few years after our initial DNF, chasing an AL which at first alluded us due to lack of signal. I realised the area looked familiar and then discovered this was where we'd come before and failed. I think it may have actually been missing that time & it was really busy with muggles I seem to remember. This time it was fairly quiet, only a couple of cars and not really any people to be seen. Found my way straight to the hinted feature & it was a thankfully quick find.
After driving in and out several times we did eventually get enough signal up a nearby hill to open the AL app and get the question when we came back. Certainly would be a nice spot for a picnic on a nicer day - a bit blustering and cold today with a looming storm.

Just went to find it today, it's no longer there. Someone must have taken it =(
Wonderful place for a cache and as Muggle hubby lost wifi reception he even looked up from his phone to enjoy the peaceful spot. Tftc
Found by Mary and David at 11:55. An extra one for us while doing the Morayfield History Drive AdLab. What a lovely spot. The River was running strongly too. Our thanks to Rong.
Stuck at home during Covid we were going back through our notes from our Daybro trip and found that we hadn't logged this cache so are doing so now on September 11th.
We found this one while we were doing the Morayfield Heritage Drive Adventure Lab. After the rain of the weekend there was plenty of water in the crossing today and it looked lovely flowing along
This cache didn't take too long to find and we were soon adding our name to the log before replacing everything as we found it.
Many thanks Rong for setting this one up and maintaining it for this long.

We are on a Mega Caching Trip from Canberra. Bid our time outside the "Red Zone" and after today's announcement we decided to come into the area.
Signed as Capital Crunchers (CC), which are Kittykatch, Joolay, Barb2e and me.

Found a frog in a possible GZ nearby. We scared the living daylights out of each other.

Another spot where I could find a cache and an AL WP close together. I missed the obvious place here and came back for a second look and sure was the right place. Log signed and cache replaced as found. TFTC
Was very surprised to see a bus load of muggles at this location. Thankfully GZ was out of their sight. Tried a few RONG spots first and donated a pen to the ground somewhere before finding the cache and signing the log with the pencil included! TFTC

Found myself out this way today nabbing a stack of nearby caches and knowing this old one was at the end of the road was made the country drive quite pleasant indeed. A really quick find in a lovely spot.
Thanks Rong for entertaining me at this location.

Out and about in the area picking up some caches on a beautiful spring morning. Quite a busy park but luckily no muggles near the GZ. A quick find after a short search. TNLNSL TFTC .
Today after work I decided to stay in the area and designate the rest of the day for caching. I saw that their was a new AL series nearby so I decided to get started on that and grab any other caches as I travelled to complete that. My morning started in Morayfield and I made my way through Upper Caboolture and ended up in Rocksberg. I've never ventured out this way before, so it was great to come to a new place and enjoy the scenery.
End of the road! My phone was just about to die and I had no phone reception, but I was still able to go off my GPS to find the cache, plus it was a 2006 cache, so I didn't want to leave without grabbing it. Now to finish up the AL series.

Out today to continue my challenges of a trad a day and a cache a day. An early start to grab a couple of FTF’s over at Ningi and then to do this adventure lab in the area followed by grabbing a few trads on the way back. Phone service was sporadic at times but still managed to get the job done. If it wasn’t for the lab series I would have never come this way. A beautiful area and one I must come back to on a better day, it also seems to be popular with the locals and campers.
All good with this cache, I found it very easily and signed it without anyone noticing. With log signed and cache replaced it was off to the next one in the area, thank you.

Had a few good days at Somerset and the 6 Sith to collect the dark side series. Stayed with my neighbours who had their van at the resort. Spent some time chasing red claw and drinking. Shame to leave the Dam so coordinated a time to meet Gcoven after work to get this oldie. Lovely spot and good to see some decent river flows had been through the area. Thanks Rong for maintaining this oldie.
To we who dwell in the Force, normal life is little more than pretense. Our only actions of significance are those we undertake in service to the dark side.
A lovely drive after work to pick up another oldie! Tftc

It was too nice a day to stay at home, plus I'd built up some brownie points with Sadra and the geomonsters were out yahooing around with the neighbours kids, so a peaceful mornings caching was in order.
What a lovely place. There was a couple metal detecting amongst the trees and a family down by the stream. Had a wander around and is definately somewhere I'll bring the family for a picnic and a paddle. Great place!!
Thanks!!

Well, did not expect to find this little park way up in the middle of nowhere, and with these sort of facilities to boot. Nice to find. Cache in good order and found quickly.

Found without even knowing there was a geocache there about ten seconds after I turned to my wife and said "betcha there's a geocache there". May be a littlebtoo obvious a spot.
After being in self appointed quarantine the last week due to one of the kids testing positive to Whooping Cough (all is good - no symptoms and we are all clear now) , we were finally safe to be let loose in public again and decided a few caches would help relieve the cabin fever we were suffering.
I have never been down this road even though I live virtually above it in the hills and didn't know this park existed. What a lovely place. I think it will be a destination for a picnic and swim once it warms up a bit.
Cache was located quickly and log signed.

The end of the road after our nice little creek crossing tour. We searched in all of the hint associated pieces of nature in the vicinity but could not spot anything cache-like, even with a bit of prodding and poking.
We made of the facilities and had a little look at the creek. Very rocky, it was getting late now so not the best lighting for photos.

I had a good long search for this but came up empty handed. That is very frustrating after previous logs say quick find or easy find!
