No find today but we will be back. Maybe owner could check it is still in the right place?
I agree. Spent twenty minutes looking at ground level at every rock both at the bottom of the incline and the top of the grassy bank. I think this one has been muggled, or hidden really really well.
Just dropping our travelling geocoin in for miles, forgot to do this when we logged the find.
An easy find on the way to have a look at Shantytown on our travels up the West Coast. TFTC.
Spent 5 minutes searching at GZ, but it was raining and miserable so abandoned without proper search.
A very quick find from the nearby Paroa Hotel. A great place to say or have a drink and a meal. Took travel bug.
People passing in their cars must have wondered what we were up too!

This is our first cache on the west coast after picking up our car in Greymouth. The train across the Alps was wonderful.

Easy find - though very nearly muggled by local strollers. No swaps, thanks and cheers from Grandalf(1170)
Was waiting for dinner to cook at the nearby hotel. Mr Explorer couldn't resist finding this one that was right across the road. A quick find. TFTC.
Swooped in to find this one on the way past. Driving to Hokitika after the Event. TFTC
Yea ADV, how did you miss that? GPS was kind to me and put me right on top of it for a quick find and another added to the daily record attempt (most finds in a day). Thanks for putting out the cache!
Found in 30 seconds! Third time lucky, though it certainly did help that there had been a recent tidy-up of the area with all the nasty blackberry, gorse and broken glass removed.
Quick stop for this one on my way to the Greymouth Gathering event and found quickly. Hmmm... wonder how I missed it last time?

Lots of places to look when your GPS takes you to the far end and you start working your way along. Lots of nasty prickles. Saw the sign to the Tennis courts.
"About bloomin' time" said PB (well, that wasn't exactly what he said - but it's polite enough to post here!!! )as he spied the elusive blue plastic under a rock -- a rock, mind you, that I'm sure we've looked under at least five times before. Just not at quite the right angle I guess. Finally it is found!
2012. A quick find as we were driving by.
There is a lot of rubbish in this area now, including broken bottles so it is not a pleasant place to be searching any more.
Up the road, however, there are lovely tennis courts!
Thanks
Iris & Rodney

Lots of options to check out here. Found hidden deep, concealed with dried gorse prickles!!!
Found the Tennis courts further down the road.
Found the Tennis courts further down the road.
We had quite a thorough look in some of the spaces - but not so much in others due to the broken bottles etc - so I guess the cache was in one of those. Might have another look one day.
Today is a cache-fest! This is 6 of 9 for the day as I race the rest of the family to Greymouth... me in the car, they on the Tranz Alpine!!

got this at end of run. Wasn't a great run because of wind. didn't mind stopping to look for this one. Hard to look normal when Muggles walk past and i'm lying on the ground looking in cracks & crannies. Just smiled and waved.

Took a LONG while to find this one and lots of cars going past. Had to pretend I was a bridge inspector and I think I even fooled a few people. "Gave up" twice before finding it.
easy find just gota look in the cracks, lots of cars passing.

No way was I going to put my hands in amongst broken glass and prickles searching for this cache. This site needs a CITO cleanup.
It took a bit of stealth to get this one, lots of traffic about. Managed it in the end thanks.
Stayed at the motor camp just down the raod and picked this one up early in the morning before leaving Greymouth.
picked up the travel bug

Nice One!!!!!!! Quick and easy find on our way to Kumara. Neat hiding spot. - MacToy + Key Chain Thanks
Had to be quick as lots of people driving by, would love to see the tennis racket if they where the balls ( the big round rocks)
Nice quick road side cache, not far form here there used to be a great swimming hole with big clay banks to slide down.
Many Thanks Bitsprayer

Tennis we hoped to play
but not today
A very busy spot
it was very hot
with muggles all around
but the cache we found
the frog hopped out
but don't pout
a postcard swapped for it
so we did our bit
all recored in the book
you may want to take a look

FTF This must be the hardest '1' difficulty I've done. I biked 20km to get to the cache. Then still had another 8km to go to get home.
Found the cache easily enough, stuck my hand in a nasty prickle while grabbing it.
TFTC, TNLN.

Second to find, though I must admit that the logbook, pencil and stash note look a bit familiar.
Thanks Mum.
