I discovered I had this cache saved in my GPS when I turned it on to look for Devon's Rimu. In view of the owner's "Archived" log I thought I'd look for it anyway, to see if the container was still there, and remove it if necessary. It was, so I did. Hopefully this still counts as a find! I did not however spot any mango (sharks), whata (elevated/hung) or otherwise - what mango, indeed!
Thanks for the cache, and I hope in removing the container I've been of service.

With the log gone missing and with not being able to get over to put a new one in its time to open this space up for some of the local cachers - if anyone wants to use the container to put a new one here please feel free ( as I wont be able to collect it otherwise till late in the ) - thanks to all the cachers that have done this cache in the last 5 1/2 years
A quick find in another lovely bay.
There was no log book in the cache, so we took a photo to porve we'd found it

Someone had parked their camper near it so stealth was required. No sign of TB's. TFTC
I had come here several years ago and hadn't managed to find the cache. No problems this time, found within seconds although I'm sure the old Etrex GPSr I was using took me to a different place last time. Lovely spot on a fine day today with almost nobody around so it was very easy. Dropped off Pirate Booty Geodoubloon GC, signed log, TFTC!
Lovely to revisit a spot we camped at 3 years ago. Very wet today, and only one camper. Took Smitten Kitten TB and left large Jeep TB - it only just fit! TFTC!
Number 11 Again a cach les than 1km from our home. Boons birthday today. Very easy find saw trackable TDTV4X had our trackable 566936 with us. May swap trackables in a day or so if still there.
I liked the name of the cache, it's quite funny. It was a quick find in the morning after staying on the camp. Took TB and left TB.

Had to giveway to a motorhome exiting from the camping ground before we could enter. Lots of campers. One parked but deserted just where we needed to look for the cache. Found ithe cache quickly with Old Boots and retreated before anyone came along. TFTC
Quick grab after explaining to woman in van nearby why we were searching in the bushes. In: little gold car. Out: black cat geocoin
Wasn't looking forward to searching for this, particulary with campers nearby, but in the end it was quite straightforward.

Found remarkably easily considering the number of flaxes.TFTC Stayed the night. Last time we were here there were baby pukekos running around and Yes, they run just like in the ad.
It was a little bit tricky, because there was a campervan standing really close to the cache when we arrived yesterday. So we had to wait until they left the place - fortunately it was early in the morning.
We love the Whatamango DOC camp. Stayed here for the third time.

First cache on our last day of holiday.. Drove almost right to GZ but there was a campervan almost on the other side.. The owners were still asleep and the cache was a quick grab and moved over to the mangroves to sign it and then returned it.. Thanks for the stop here...
Wasn't planning to stop for this one, assumed the campground would be packed. However, on arrival it was completely empty so maybe it got evacuated? Nice easy find and on we went. TFTC
Caching with Sidewaze. Interesting place this Whatamango. Danger tape everywhere, but sent Sidewaze through first to test the ground, and followed when all appeared safe. A quick find once we figured out that the nearest flax bush wasn't neccessarily THE one. TFTC
Hi Nightowlnz. We went a long way today to find one of your caches when we know we could have found a couple much closer to home, but that's just how it worked out. Puzzled over the name of the cache until we got close. - - - Had to cross through a line of "DANGER!!" tape on the way to GZ but we didn't spot anything dangerous. - - They were probably just trying to keep the campers out. A quick find, though we have developed a bit of a thing about flax bushes. TFTC
Found easy, some campers nearby, second attempt as last time campers right next to cache. Tftc
#1271. (9/24, day 2/4 of Easter trip to Blenheim). Campers were just about on top of GZ. Took advice of previous finders and approached from the seaward side (bit of a bush bash). Not fun to find loo paper almost on top of the cache! Great spot though. TFTC.
Took a bit of getting to - via bush bashing and mud trampling as there were campers right next to GZ. Pleased that StreetWalker found it as it was not pleasant at GZ - why are people so dirty when there are toilets nearby?

Great find, Watch out for speed humps for low cars, TFTC, swapped the car for froigen $
Luckily there was no one tenting right on the cache site! Will come back here to camp ourselves as we liked the solitude of this place. Thx for bringing us here, Team Loopi

We decided to do this one after finding Karaka Point.
A few muggles about and a few tents too, but not as many as we expected.
An easy find coming from the seaward side to avoid muggles
- finger puppet, plastic purple ring, red car
+ carabiner, whistle and spiderman figurine (NapDeavs added spidie so Bubble could take the car)
TFTC
Cheers Pinetree and Sunrise plus Bubble (and the NapDeavs)

3.00pm. As others have mentioned - we found this a secluded spot - though there was one camper in a mobile home over the other side of the reserve. Three Pukeko's and a pair of Paradise Ducks befriended us, no doubt expecting food we did not have. The find was easy.
+ finger puppet
- cow paper clip & nappy pins

Nice picnic and camping grounds… not too many campers about today. Easy find, love the cache name, most appropriate, many thanks.

alot of muggles camping had to wait for half hour till coast was clear but was easy to find
Very nice area...had not been out here before! Clean creek too! No Muggles today...we were able to sit and have a good nosey at the treasures. Left a wee Goat. TFTC
Didn't attempt to look for it as there was someone camping very close to it and there was also a person in a van sitting and watching.
We really deserved to get this one. Arrived at GZ - muggles a distance away so fine. Searched with no luck. We will give it 5 minutes. Mrs Sobad was in the middle of the area when a car arrived so hastily came out and tried to look as though this was perfectly normal. Then realised the car had not stopped - but 5 mins was up and so we decided to leave. but where is the GPS. Mrs Sobad had it last (she thought) - did she put it in the car - no (but we found her keys that had been missing for a couple of days). Must be back near GZ. No. This looked like being an expensive cache when Sobad found it nearly buried in grass. Not sure if we are brave enough to attempt this again!!!
Found on a rainy afternoon, we're staying just up the road from here. TFTC

Nice One!!!!!!!What a great spot. You can't go wrong with that life-style. GPS was spot on 5-4-3-2-1-0. Can't get any better. Easy find. Thanks or the drive.
Mr Explorer was expecting a massive search when we got to gz but the cache was found easily and in hand very quickly. TFTC.
Scoop81 was remonstrating with me in the rental car about the grammatical incorrectness of the title, but textual felicity aside, we found the cache, despite the attentions of a boy on a motorbike with a holed muffler blatting around the reserve. I blame the parents. The Pukekos were not impressed. Scoop81 made a quick find as TreMichLan did the documentation and took the obligatory photo. TFTC
What Mangoes? Yes, the rogue apostrophe did bother me, but an idyllic little spot nonetheless. Rogue biker aside, a really nice spot, with a very tame colony of pukeko, TFTC

We had to come back because the first time there were people camping right next to it! Got it in the end though and had a nice day - thanks!
Camped here and went for a look at the posted location. It seemed like a real "hey stack" and I found where someone had gone to the toilet and...... I didn't have the clue or discription so thought I'd leave it. Clearly its still there as its been found since.
Found on a quick cycle trip from Picton while waiting for the ferry. Had to rush back to town afterwards.
This is another one where my GPS (coordinates?) and hints appear to disagree. It's on the list for next year!

Nice spot. We spent the night at this campsite. Lots of purple swamphens. Our camper was almost surrounded by them.
Our TB Lucky Topocat also shortly visited this cache.

Trifecta! My third night cache tonight where muggles are almost camping on the cache. In this case there were two or three different vehicles parked very nearby that didn't allow me to hunt for the cache. Cheers Gav
Lots of muggles about camping, managed to casually walk past and snatch it without being seen.

Found it after being chased around by a 4WD who happened to be parking in the area - and then there were the muggles that had visited the cache earlier in the day. TFTC
Cache had x 2 entries from muggles!! We thought we were being furtive and then a lady said "did you find it??!!! We were found out as "adults don't normally go through that sort of terain..."!!! Her children had found the cache by accident and they thought it was a neat idea, hopefully some converts! TNLN

Arrived when it was getting dark. Wasn't meant to, but turned out to be the last one for the day. Didn't realise where I would end up but this seemed lucky. Was kind of focused on the GPS before I realised I was being observed by the residents. Luckily, a conveniently located patch of shrubs moved in between and I followed the GPS right to ground zero where I first checked the wrong side (stoopid) and then the right side (success). Had to leave to go do another cache that required the cover of darkness (and still failed), so came back here with my tail between my legs
Owe the Kamp Kommandant $6 as I arrived late and left early. On the other hand, I spent a week as a DOC volunteer on Maud Island just over a year ago, so I'm sure I was allowed a freebie... I'll pay double next time. Will remember this spot - very handy place to know about as it's not really that far our of town. Managed to get perfect shelter from the driving gusts of wind (50 knots) that were battering the area that day; Blenheim had lost its Xmas tree!
The cache name had me guessing also - until I got there. Have taken a photo, so don't look if you want it to be a surprise on arrival.
TNLNSL - Thanks very much for bringing me here.

A fairly easy find in a lovely area to camp in. TN, Left a couple of toys to top up the stock.
Thanks for the hunt, niteowlnz.
