Today is the day when we are leaving the South Island and we are going back North. In the morning we left our accommodation in Kaiteriteri and headed slowly towards Picton. Going to Picton we had some time to spare so what is better than looking for some caches on the way. This one was one of our finds, we picked it as it filled another dot for the Jasmer challenge for us. Still a lot to fill but at least one less When we were approaching the. Coordinates we were a bit worried seeing some fencing on the road but luckily no issues with finding the cache. Nice masking! Thanks Rangi for the cache and another filled spot in the Jasmer for us. Greetings from Krakw, Poland.
great one and so close to home! Needed an excuse to go for a drive and this ones perf tftf
Located with RNZ
First find of the day & I figured out the hide location first. I'm slowly getting better at this caper lol
A nice relaxing Sunday drive out to the Motueka market & then up the Brooklyn Valley & West Bank Road, with lunch at the Upper Moutere Pub to finish.

First find today. Had to wait for a muggle with a dog to move on. They eventually did very slowly, and then I had a search. RG72 figured out the theme first, all good with this one. Nice hide.
It was a nice day today so RG72 and I went for a drive out to Motueka to visit the market. That was good, then we had a cruisy drive home down back roads with a few stops for caches and the Upper Moutere Pub. Nice day, a few roads I had never been down before.

There was a freedom camper parked nearby, but I didn't see any movement, so I made a quick find. TFTC.
After a little chat with Rangi I have returned. After 10 mins I was about to do another DNF then wow I thought maybe and sure enough bingo there it was. Very clever Rangi and thankyou
Feeling sure I had right spot as all signs and clues lined up. However not where I thought it was
Cache is still there in plain view, added new log book although there was still room in old log
Time for a wee family summers holiday; Kaikoura, Picton and Nelson.
After Kaikoura and Picton, time for a wee stay in Richmond with family....Mr TG grew up in Richmond. After lunch and a walk in Marahau time to head back to Richmond. Stopped here just because....nice quick find and sign. 'Camo' was out in the horse paddock so whilst I was signing the log MrsTG retrieved it and it was all put back together again. Nice one. Thanks.

While on a bike ride with my son, we stopped here to find the cache. The name indeed says it all. TFTC
A quick find with Tregearp on a cool winters afternoon. All quiet at the GZ. All in good order. Completed formalities and replaced as found. Thanks Rangi for the cache.
SJT_NZ and I thought it was the perfect afternoon for some caching in the area, this was a quick find. Thanks Rangi - cache all in good order.
Spending a couple of days in Motueka caching around the area. Haha no problem here we’ve got one like that at home.
Thanks Rangi.
Thanks Rangi.
Nice little detour off the beaten track. The 2 little ones were all over this straight away and found before mum & dad got out of the car. TFTC.
Today we made a trip over to Motueka to pick up some unfound caches and DNFs.
Great one! Hopped out the car and after about 15 seconds of looking I then tried another spot and immediately saw something out of place. Once again reminds me of another cache in Christchurch. Dropped off a TB. TFTC

Just a quick one today as we don't have a lot of time. Nice and quiet at GZ and cache quickly found. Log book pages all loose and just shoved in pipe so tried to resurrect back into something resembling a book, then placed into a new plastic bag to hold together and try to preserve it a bit longer. Will need a new book at some stage soon. tftc
Beautiful day to keep the kids busy with some treasure hunting.
This one was easily spotted by Jordan.

Great hide! Book is a bit destroyed though and pen doesn’t work but very clever!!
Are we allowed thru gate? We tried.. but no go at next one. Cheers for the drive
Sunny spell between showers and a quick find. plastic bag holding the log has had it but all still dry. Tftc.
So, Thursday night in Riwaka, eh? What to do?
Having dropped Streetgamer at a Scouts event nearby, I pondered how to while away an hour or so in the fading light. I know! A spot of caching. There are couple of previous DNFs to reattempt and a few others to boot.
With a slight feeling of 'what will the neighbours think?' as I slowly made my way up the track, I was pleased to find that I was pretty well out of sight by the time I reached the GZ. That said, poking around at the end of a track by torchlight might take a bit of explaining, so I was glad that what I hoped was the cache *was* the cache; and it was!
A nicely crafted hide. Thanks

After doing quite a bit of walking in the Canaan area, it was great to have a drive by on the way home. We have never been out here before so an interesting view point. All quiet at GZ and an instant find as I had already suspected what the hide would be. Nicely done.
No sign of the Diabetes TB in the cache, hopefully someone has just forgotten to log they took it. Left a jeep travel bug which is a bit big for most caches. TFTC.

A nice hide that Mum had already overlooked, but I knew it was the cache as soon as I saw it. A nice play on words at an interesting GZ. Thanks for the cache
#10341. Just time for a few caches on the outskirts of Mot on the way home. By the time I got to GZ Troodles had already located the cache. Nice hide. TFTC.
A quick easy find of a nicely hidden cache, fortunately well away from the workers in the area. The bigger "inner tubes" were interesting to see. Worth a favourite. TFTC
That's in a tube allright Just as I had parked and had gotten out of the car, a Downer-car drove up and the driver asked if I needed any help.. I told him I was "treasurehuting" .. "ah, geocaching? I'm a geocacher myself.. is there one here? I really should know as this is my site".. Haha.. Well, he wished me good luck and drove on and I went on to find the cache. Good one, it gets a point, even though it's been seen before.

For the sake of sanity we set off with sonia26642 for a crazy geocaching trip, aiming to cache until we drop. The main destination was Nelson and the ‘surrounding’ area, but then we ended up covering a few miles in three northernmost regions, plus a few in Canterbury. We were signing/stamping the log as 'Team Polak' or ‘TP’ for the two of us on this trip to save logbook space. We found a lot of different caches, city ones, road side, park side, up a hill and on an island, and we enjoyed every single one of them. It was good to be a professional thingfinder for a few days!
We started our adventures today kayaking, but decided to find another ‘few’ as at this stage we still did not know that the Bulk Finding Challenge has been archived…
We had great fun and are grateful to all CO’s who placed caches for us to find, and help restore our sanity before returning to our other non-geocaching lives!!

This was one of the most epic weeks ever, and definitely my most epic caching week ever.
Me and mum headed up on a holiday north to Nelson and very wider surrounds. In total during the trip, we found almost 500 caches! (470 odd I think, but final results are yet to be in! ) We covered about 3000 odd km I think too. Crazy! And had our absolute best caching day ever too at 160 found. Spend 9 days travelling, caching, and having the best time ever!!
So sorry about not so epic logs, as otherwise this would probably take me the rest of my life to log, especially with two big events to organise coming up! Eeek!!
