Cache is missing.

Wp2 is no longer readable. Cheers.

22-Dec-09
A nice morning wander above the campground where I spent the night however Wp #2 is not readable any more so that put an end to it. I'll be back now I know where to look once it's fixed. Thanks.

28-Nov-09
Worked out the first waypoint when we got to waypoint 2 you cant read the last 2 numbers so it made it really hard to get to the next location and even with help from friends who have done this 1 before we couldnt find the cache

A nice walk after dinner at Australasian.

04-Jan-09
Staying in the camping ground down the road so nice cache to do after dinner on a calm and warm Greymouth nite. A bit tricky at WP1. WP2 needs good eyesight. Cache wet inside log book damage but useable. NINO TFTC.

great location super fun easy one

06-Dec-08
Boy, I hate to log this as DNF! We loved browsing the cemetary and had no trouble with WP1 and found WP2 easily. Coordinates right on. However, couldn't find the last clue to save out lives! Will have to try again on our next NZ trip - thanks for an interesting search though!

Lovely sunny day.Great cache. 6/7 of The Grady Bunch found this cache.TFTC

08-Jun-08
Found with Jemnz while on a walk.

08-Jun-08
Decided to do this one while out for a walk in the area. Nice multi thanks. We also found the first WP to be out buy 20 metres too, but with the clue it was obvious to the location. Liked the second WP! Good hide for the final. TFTC

Nice multi. We like to walk on cemetaries on holiday: to see the different styles in different countries.
The cache itself was difficult to find. After a long search we found it in the shrubs a number of meters from the coordinates. There was a logbook (last log: march) but no coins or travelbugs. We placed it back on the place we think it should have been hidden.

2117. We were glad that there was a small hint for the first WP as today the GPS was 20 metres out and that can be rather confusing in a cemetery! Luckily we zeroed in on WP2 and then the final - taking in lots of reading as we went.

- Geocoins - Feng Shui & Caught Red Handed.

Lots of people are taking up excess space in this log book - it would be helpful if people would be a little more thoughtful!

Thanks
Iris & Rodney

Adding two geocoins

Arrived at the cemetery almost at the same time as a funeral proccession. Managed to get the WPs well away from where they were headed but had to take time out to have afternoon tea back at the car before it was safe to find the cache. TFTC Liked this one a lot. Left a geocoin found in Hokitika

Mr Explorer started this the night before. We were staying at the local camp ground so a nice walk. Almost couldn't find the 1st WP perhaps because the batteries were getting low, stumbled across it in fading light, did the math and next point was 2km's away. Opps - found the mistake when back at the camp. Stopped by the next night to find WP2 with what I thought were charged batteries and as Mrs Explorer drove off to let the kids play at the camp the low battery warning flashed - couldn't believe it! Just found WP2 then GPS died. Returned again when heading out for dinner and found the cache. How to make an easy cache hard by Mr Explorer! TFTC

21-Mar-08
Managed to walk into the cemetery where the final cache was located (as it turned out). Waypoint two was a little tricky to read with grave visitors wondering why my grief required me lying on the ground. Never too comfortable at active cemeteries, but enough of a hypocrite to do 'em anyway. After reading some of the childrens' grave stones was suddenly dreadfully homesick and missing the kids. Phoned home to tell them I love them in spite of the youngest one hiding/losing/throwing away my camera Wink

Had a pretty quick wander around the cemetery on a hot day. Final cache was easily found. Cheers Gav [1865]

Have been looking at this one for a while, waiting until waypoint two was found. Great idea for waypoint two. Good tour of the dead centre of town. No travelbug in the cache ?

Finished it this evening now that WP2 is back in place. (Very educational idea BTW!)

I have replaced the missing waypoint.

10-Jan-08
Missing waypoint has been replaced.

06-Jan-08
Will check on Waypoint 2 soon.

04-Jan-08
WP2 may be missing, due to pruning.
Could you please check, and if it is there, give us a hint?

04-Jan-08
Had no problem with the first WP - only one date (unless you look down to the nearest grave)
Worked out intermediate WP, looked right, but only found a heavily pruned, loopsided tree. Searched high, searched low, searched under.
Found no cannisters, tubes, false leaves, laminated clues, tags or anything that might list the final cache WP.
Drat - another DNF! today.

04-Jan-08
2nd attempt at this.

Waypoint number 2 proving to be a problem.

I wonder whether the Final is still being found through word of mouth?

20-Dec-07
ummmmmm it was hard to find 4 me

20-Dec-07
PUT IN TB

18-Dec-07
We got the first waypoint (we thought) and found what seemed to make sense for the second waypoint - given the 'rules' re cemetery placements - however a thorough search in many hidey holes produced no results, so maybe we had the wrong co-ords. Saw an awesome sunset though and took a few pics.

15-Dec-07
nice easy find

14-Dec-07
NICE FIND

04-Dec-07
got wp1 ok. And was all over where wp2 might be but no joy

28-Nov-07
great cache to find thnx

18-Nov-07
only found one of the caches with out a gps.

17-Nov-07
Sorted waypoint one ok I think but could not find way point two. Either got it wrong or it`s not there.

05-Nov-07
This is the night i log the finds i forgot about A wicked idea for a cache though

23-Oct-07
Found it! But couldn't figure the first waypoint out - the location appears to point to a plaque with two dates on it, neither of which will give a sensible answer. I eventually resorted to using another type of logic to find waypoint two. TNLN, discovered a Dragon TB!

26-Sep-07
Had a neat run around this place while on my South Island loop. Logging now since retrieved a TB. Thanks Moneydork for ALL these West Coast caches!

14-Sep-07
Intermediate waypoint replaced.
Final cache still in good order - two travel bugs added.

29-Jun-07
The second waypoint is missing due to tree pruning activities.

24-Jun-07
The first co-ords are off, but thats all part of the challenge. Grabbed trackable book.

03-Jun-07
This was an interesting cache which we really enjoyed doing, although the first waypoint put us a bit far away from the obviuos spot. Took a trackable book and left a green headed dolly

30-May-07
A spooky night time find. Razz But, I must confess that a couple of the places were sorta familiar as I had partaken in the Karoro Caper. TNLN T4FC.

14-May-07
Had a quick look yesterday but being a weekend there were a lot of people about. Returned today and able to complete without difficulty.
Many thanks for the cache and pointing this one out.

16-Apr-07
Completed the first part last night, but wasn't aware of extent of cemetary so left until this morning to complete. Nice cache. Thanks.

08-Apr-07
Took a while to find the first WP, as the coords were out, and pointed to a slightly higher gravestone, rather than the one we needed. The second WP certainly took a bit of finding too. The final was pleasantly simple. TNLN, Thanks.

03-Mar-07
Nice One!!!!!!!!Fantastic evening walk in area with so much unique history. Spent far more time than planned. One of your best. No problems,as co-ordinates were spot on. -Donkey + Key Chain Thanks

24-Feb-07
Having attended the event cache was able to skip the first WP and move on to the second. This multi was a lot quicker than the multi at the event. + book, - tape measure.

22-Feb-07
Nearly gave up on this one as the cache page said second waypoint was S41.GH.ADF but soon clicked it was a typo and should have been S42.GH.ADF
Nice walk around a interisting place TFTC

19-Feb-07
We were staying at the adjacent holiday park, so the search began as a pleasant afternoon stroll. Couldn't find WP2, although looking in the right place. Returned early next morning and had another look - found quickly - different lighting conditions helped a lot! We enjoyed the interesting walk, thanks.

04-Feb-07
A nice afternoon stroll through an interesting and historical cemetery.

Many Thanks Bitsprayer

found this cach with my daddy

30-Dec-06
7:48 pm - Went for an evening stroll from the nearby camp to avoid making dinner. Had several moments of blindness trying to find WP2, but laughed when I finally spied it. Great cache, very interesting history and views. TNLNSL.

26-Dec-06
An interesting and enjoyable hunt.
- nothing.
+ a tribe of indians (and some cowboys) and a Christmas decoration.

23-Dec-06
Did this one at the start of the day. Had a stroll around the cemetery being introduced to a few of the relations. All waypoints were easy to find however the second waypoint should be at S42 not S41 (you may find yourself on a rather long drive otherwise). TNLN Cheers

20-Dec-06
Sorry, I accidentally left a game piece from the Karoro Capers event in the 2nd waypoint. The co-ords for the final cache were also there, but you missed them.
I have now removed the game piece, so all should be fine now.

Ok we are starting to get a complex with all these DNFS. WE found the the first 2 parts to this and got to the final location we dismantled the structure at the location thoroughly but there's nothing there!!We were gutted as this was going well and was fun and would have been a great 50th!
