Managed to sign a sodden log but didn’t have a cache to replace one that is completely shattered. Will log maintenance call. Kutgw
Won't be getting down that way any time soon, 13 years is a good innings for an ordinary hide.
I was on my way back from a trip down south, so made a quick stop on the side of the road to find this cache. Parked the car and thought I knew where the cache would be, but the gps led me elsewhere. As I was searching for the cache, three little bunny rabbits scampered across the ground back to their nearby warren. As I attempted to follow them, I spotted something which matched the hint, and sure enough they had led me right to the cache. Thanks bunnies! Signed the log and replaced it all as found. The cache lid is broken, and the log has previously been wet but, is now dry and ok to log. But it will need some attention from the CO. TFTC
Found and signed . Cache will need attention in the future .
Many thanks for the hide.

Today we are on a mission to find a wind mill for our tasmainia trip in september till we come back and along the way we decided to grab a couple of cache and on happened to be almost next to our searching location.
Thanks McPhan for placing this cache for us to find and add the smilie to our collection.

Not my favourite location but broke the drive. Easy to find - could see it from 10m away. Container is broken. TFTC.
After returning from travel a week ago I find my feet still itchy, so here I am driving, caching.
A pretty little area with plenty of wombat holes nearby. At last the trees look to be changing colour to.
Cache was found quickly. The log is in good condition but container needs replacing as is broken.

Another one of my finds on my way to the Geo Muster in Morisett. Geez the embankment got me, being a little steeper than I thought it was... and i was worried about snakes. TFTC
Found it! Pulled over after my Muggle friends hit some road kill damaging the front end of his car I thought I’d open up the geocaching app and have a look what was around. Low and behold a cache is in site no more then 350m away. Double checked to see if any further assistance was required from myself and off I went.
Easy find but cache is in desperate need of repair. Thanks for giving me something to do whilst we took the front wing off the car. TFTC.

Hmmm not somewhere we would otherwise stop. Cache nice and dry. Watch for snakes in the long grass. TFTC McPhan.
Well our adventure travelling to Victoria to attend the Alexandra Mega Event unfortunately has to come to an end and with a severe rain event forecast, we decided we should hightail it out of there and try to keep ahead of the heavy rain predicated to come across that state So far we have managed pretty well, only starting to hit the rain as we left Yass
Obviously, we took every opportunity we could to stop and stretch our legs, and finding a cache as you do [^] We had no difficulty in locating this cache and with our name added to the log book, we continued on our way
Thank you McPhan for having placed the cache and maintaining it for everyone to enjoy

#7714 - 13:55; Stopped to collect this one on the way home from a meeting in Cooma today. Thought I knew what and where to look, but overshot the runway and had to walk back It wasn't where I thought it might be, but it didn't take too long to make the find. The cache is well protected from the elements, but the lid is getting quite worn and is no longer weatherproof. TFTC McPhan
*16/7/17, Found @ 4:16 pm, Find # 6854.*
While on my way home after the afternoon event which I had to leave a little early, I was about to drive passed this one so I decided to stop for a look.
There was a lot of traffic going in the opposite direction but eventually there was a break in the traffic and I was able to get over to GZ, once there it was a quick find but the container has seen better days.
**Thanks to McPhan for placing this cache.**

First for the day as we head to Canberra. Overshot this one but a couple of ueys fixed that. This long stretch of road has nothing on the Nullabor which we have driven a few times before!!
The cache was quickly found and the lid is stuffed and the log sheet damp but signable.
Thanks for the break and the smiley!!

Day 5 in Australia with Junkys.
Today we have to drive from Jindabyne to Canberra because we want to validate the Region of Australian Capital Territory.
During our road trip we made some stop to validate some caches.
It was a very sunny day !
------------------------------------------------
This cache was strange for us because in France we are not used to stop our car on the highway !
We stopped our car on the emergency stop strip and we found the cache after a little walk.
Thank you McPhan for the cache and greetings from France.

Stopped on way back from began. Great to break up this road with a quick stop. TFTC
Took The Woofer down the coast for a couple of nights, and used the opportunity to bring our cache count closer to 1000! It took us 8 hours to get to Bermagui, but we found over 40 caches, and had an absolute ball - with some of the most creative hides we've ever seen.
This one was a nice easy find. TFTC!

On the open road it is hard to calculate the distance to GZ and we overshot by 100 meters.
A brisk stroll back and we soon had CIH.

After an overnight stay in Jindabyne and a lovely day in and above Thredo, my daughter and I stopped in here on the way back to Canberra.
I've driven past this quite a few times recently but was never inclined to stop for one reason or the other. A quick and easy find (there is a well trodden path in the grass! ). I was impressed to see log entries dating back to 2006. TFTC

It may not be the Nullabor but the long often straight road along the long flat plain makes holiday driving easier.
Thanks for the cache and thanks for the break it has been a fun cache the ewoks ☺ ☺ ☺
Today we headed towards Sale passing through some of the best country side similar to our home state, Tassie and picking a few along the way and this was one of them. Yep very hard to park a van to get to this one!
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

Found on our 2015 Merimbula trip. It was getting pretty late, but we still continued on to get the caches on the way back to Canberra. Once we pulled up at the appropriate area, it was a quick find down at GZ. TNLNSL. TFTC McPhan!
The weekend was here! And what better way to spend it than to escape Canberra and head off for a coastal geomission?!
Swung by this one on the way for a nice, quick find [^]

So, I was feeling a little restless today and decided a solo caching mini mission was in order. I decided to take the GeoCommo for its final caching mission hurrah as its being traded in on Thursday for a replacement Geomobile. Cooma was the target for today, and some caches along the journey.
Very nice stretch of road this location. Parked up and wandered down towards GZ. Soon had cache in hand, signed and returned.
Thanks for the cache placement McPhan

Thanks to all the owners of the geocaches that we found along our way between Cooma and Canberra. You all offered us a great Christmas-Day! Greetings from Belgium.
Nice quick find while passing through. Too many curves for the nullabor. Tftc

I'm still enjoying my new car - it even still smells new. Today. the GeoSchnauzers and I are going to give the car's GPS a good going over. It accepts Lat/Long entries, so I'm putting cache coordinates into it, choosing caches near but not necessarily on the road, and choosing others on side roads. We're off to Cooma, approx 120km south of home. There are several caches on the way down, including some away from the highway, and several to find in and around Cooma.
No 12 of 13 today. Thanks, McPhan. The car took me right to this one. I'm enjoying geocaching in my new vehicle. I left the GeoSchnauzers in the car this time, and quickly found the cache.

I was on my own on a road trip, so I planned to find a heap of caches today. This was number 13 of 13 for the day (actually night caching by this stage). Thanks.
Why not stop on the side of the road and go for this one being in our sixtys this was a bit of a challenge but we mamaged to pull it off TFTC
This is the four cache today in our 3 state/territories in one day. Started in New South Wales, then Australian Capital Territory, then back to New South Wales and onto Victoria.
So is this 4 states?
Start this morning in Dubbo (about middle north/south NSW, for you non - Australian readers) and finishing Near Bairnsdale in Victoria (well into Victoria).
We only did very quick finds while having a cuppa/food stops or toilet stops.
Got a long look from a truck driver, the what are you doing look while down near the cache.
thank you for the cache McPhan
