On my way to cousins, property near Braidwood for a couple of nights with plans to check out the surrounding national parks. Early start decided to go up via Elliot and join onto the Snowy Mts Hwy and up through Cooma. Ended up staying the first night at Cascades campground along the Tuross River as it was such a magic spot. A quick park and grab here, looks like the circus is in town over the road. TFTC!
Log very wet. Managed to get the date written, the GC is more carved as the pen didn't like the wet. TFTC
A day caching. From Canberra to Bredbo to Jerangle to Numerella to Cooma and home. The road to Jerangle was a lot better than I was expecting and quite scenic. Well worth the drive. TFTC.
Caching down the south coast for a while. TFTC.
Nice quick grab on the way through town.

Uncle Bootsie was a seventh-nose Dan and sloshi-sensei, eminently capable of slaying seventeen Pseudopolitian mercenaries in a single mle, armed only with a ladder and two buckets of wallpaper paste. It is said, although only by clowns, that when this was first demonstrated on the field of combat, forty-one other mercenaries were incapacitated by laughter and overpowered by the rest of the Clowns' Battalion in addition to the seventeen slain by the ladder and the paste.
CaptainVimes and I are on a driving holiday from Melbourne to Canberra this week. After pukka tucker at the pub, we headed to pukka chukka for a quick find. Thanks for the fun RedmondFamily

Logging some caches on our way back from a Rock Crawling event near Cooma. Enjoying the lovely NSW hospitality before we finish our long weekend back in Vic. Hunting caches with Smithies Outback Gear & Nugbus. Tftc!

**This Cache:**
Had time for a couple of Cooma caches, checked out the map and this 2006 hide made the cut!
We came the hardest way possible, only to realise we could of just accessed it from the other side of the fence after all.... doh!
Thanks for the cache, would of been tough without the hint (maybe) which helped us a lot!
---
**Day 1:**
The first day of a 3 day weekend travelling from Canberra - Bega Valley Shire to attempt the "VB" cache series & many other fantastic hides!
Myself and sebass19 left Canberra bright and early, and made our way leisurely down to the coast! Lots of great caches both on the way & at the destination before we called it a night to prepare for the big day of VB caches to come!

Driving Dino down to Cooma for a sports event. Trying to fit in as much caching time as possible. Adverse weather made it a bit less fun though.
A nice cache here!
Thank you McPhan for the fun!

Day 7 of our 2 week road trip south from Brisbane. After overcoming floods, a bogged car and vehicle electrical issues, we finally reached Canberra to spend a few days with relatives and explore some of the newer virtual and earth caches since my last visit. It was then time to continue the journey south towards the Snowy Mountains.
Despite stopping for a number of caches along the way, we were still ahead of schedule so after a visit to the Snowy Hydro Discovery Centre I decided to call in for a visit to this cache, which had actually been on the itinerary for tomorrow. Somehow I managed to take the long way to GZ, but once there quickly had the cache in hand. TFTC

I found this while spending a day in Cooma. It is in good condition.

This was hard to find. it is a magnetic box stuck to a fence star picket. the tree is very overgrown and the box is on the back side.
We had attended the RAAF 100 year celebration flyover in Canberra. It was a great day and we decided to head on down to Cooma for the night.
We decided to take on a few of the local hides before night fall and this was one we grabbed on the way past.
Thanks for placing this cache and doing the maintaining of it, so we can find it.

Nice quick find here.... all in order
So I see a CITO published for the top of Kozi....Aquilus1 have been wanting to come down here for ages to collect the Kozi caches (I already have them) but also get the 2000!
But, Aquilus1 rolls her ankle, very badly.... so it looks like the whole thing may be off, but, I hadn't accounted for the stubborn streak..."we ARE going, the ankle will be FINE".
So, off we go collecting some targeted caches along the way, we teamed up with another team in the beginning before going our separate ways.
Some interesting Cooma caches, followed by a NUTS drive out to The Gates, and cleaning out Buckanderra on the way down to Jindy. After checking in and meeting Tankengine & dty73, we grabbed a few more caches including a multi I started very, very long ago before ending up at the event.
Great burger, great bubbles... thanks all CO's

Another great older cache, parking close by and a straight forward find.
Trip log:
We had a plan, and it was to go to Kosciusko for an oldie and some high altitude caches, it was also to be my first visit, so I was keen. When GreyHams noticed an event was published up there this weekend the decision was made and after a lot of discussion over previous years the time had finally come to tick this one off...
Or so it should have been but my sprained ankle several days before we were to go, it was touch and go and I wasn't sure I could make the distance, but only one way to find out, with some contingency plans should they be needed.
With GreyHams it was an early start, and of course there were other Canberra cachers heading south for the weekend also, so we teamed up for a number in the morning with the newly formed 'Jindy Crew'. After a spot of Cooma caching it was out to 'The Gates' on Lake Eucumbene, a trek but a great way to pass the hot day in the cars aircon, and then the 'track' out to the cache, challenging and equally as amusing, it was a great drive in! A little caching around Buckenderra was nice scenery before meeting up with dty73 and Tankengine in Jindabyne for some more caching an event and a relaxed yummy dinner with our Canberra caching friends for the evening.
Arriving at Charlottes Pass early in the morning is the thing to do, and with so many others already there it was a busy carpark, needing to park about 1km down the road! After our warm up walk and lashings of sunscreen we started off, slow and steady and hoping the foot would make the distance. And it did! The prep was sound, the poles were my lifeline step after step and finally I got to attempt the summit.
Such a great walk, so much to see, yes, it looks all bare and rocky but its beautiful and the slow pace we set we saw all of it! So great with many other cachers up there to spend time with them too, and we spent much time walking along with them over the distance, so much conversation had the time pass quickly and enjoyably. Many thanks to GreyHams, it wasn't the main range loop walk we had planned but he got me to the summit and back! As broken as I was with that last limp to the car we still had the enthusiasm to plan the next trip.
Many thanks to the CO's for your caches, we only stopped at a few for various qualities but your cache led to a very enjoyable trip.

We teamed up with JozMoz to find this one as JozMoz found it straight away! Took us a while, but was super fun
Sunshine and an opportunity to go caching, what a great combination. Got this one. Scenery beautiful. Our thanks to RedmondFamily for placing this cache and adding to our enjoyment of the area.
Out and about caching today from Canberra to Cooma. Weather wise not the best, dust storms and winds up to 90kph. However as I am from Brisbane on a trip down south, caching must go on. Found cache and signed log. TFTC
Easy little park and grab. The cache is in good condition, signed and replaced. TFTC
Found by Mary and David at 14:15:00. Today we start for home after a great week in Queanbeyan at the Clear Waters Mega. The steeds are looking magnificent, and those pretty young fillies with their big hats and summer dresses are also looking ravishing. Young Jamie Oliver has agreed to drop in with jugs of Pimms, some G & T and, of course, canapes! Very pukka! Our thanks to RedmondFamily.
Found with cullum68 on a few days away caching in Tumut and Cooma. Thanks for the cache
Found with nissan 65 on a few day away caching. Decided on Tumut and Cooma before heading home to the Shoalhaven and back to work. Thanku for the cache.

A caching mission! This time organised by KittyKatch to grab some new caches from Moruya to Broulee. Quite a few us joined the walk on a lovely Saturday . TikvaNZ joined me for the drive and we decided to grab a few more caches beforehand and afterwards. On the Sunday, we headed south and ended up doing a caching circuit, Moruya, Bega and then up the hill to Cooma and home again to Canberra. A fantastic trip planned!!
This cache: TikvaNZ made the grab, while on our way home to Canberra from the coast.
Thanks RedmondFamily for the cache and the fun!

My second of a 9 day caching road-trip holiday. After turning early last night, I woke up unfortunately very early this morning. Far colder than I was expecting when I started my morning caching before breakfast.
Today I headed West through Kosciuszko NP, A fun drive but with fewer caches than yesterday.
Thanks for the caches.

After returning from travel a week ago I find my feet still itchy, so here I am driving, caching.
As I drive further south the countryside appears richer, the red and black soil that proves rich is finally making an appearance. The trees to here are turning to Autumn shades.
Cache was found quickly. The log is in good condition.

Today I cached my way from Eden to Mannering Park, where I am staying for the Oz Geo Muster. What should have been a 7 hour drive became a 13 hour drive, partly due to the caching stops, but mostly due to the Easter traffic! Finally arrived and getting excited for the Mega.
Third find for the day and an easy one armed with the hint. Thanks for the cache

My First for the day on a run up to Canberra picking up caches as I go. An easy find assisted by the hint. TFTC.
I can feel for the CO wanting to break up drives. It is great to break for things like this. Today though we are just enjoying all the parts of Cooma.
Runner5ive used to live in Cooma so we decided to do a day trip from Canberra to cache and share some old memories in and around the area.

Found the cache okay but the log was completely sodden so I left a fresh piece of paper for others to use as well. This is quite a busy road and I have used it many times before. Don't think anyone took much notice of me behaving suspiciously! TFTC
I was on a little holiday down around the Monaro region in southern NSW, and grabbed a few caches along my travels. This one I found on my way back.
Stopped off to get some petrol nearby, and then headed over in search of the cache. Read the hint, followed the gps, and it lead straight to the cache for a quick find. The log is a bit damp, but I just managed to sign it and then replaced it all as found. Then it was a back to the car and home. TFTC

The junior geo-gangsta was nimble enough to leap the road side stream that had formed, which meant that he got to retrieve the cache first. Saved us a little jumping around! TFTC
#7717 - 09:55; Day one of a trip through eastern Victoria with Sol de lune to build on our July trip further to the west. This was the first stop for the morning and a reasonably straight forward find, except for headbutting a branch! TFTC McPhan
I sought out some geocaches while on a six-day trip with others from Pedal Power in Canberra to East Gippsland to ride the East Gippsland Railtrail. I found 32 caches plus I collected two travel bugs to share the journey. The weather was fine and mild, the scenery delightful and the company pleasant, making for a great trip.
This cache was not a reasonably straightforward find as the GPS was all over the place; thank goodness for the hint! Thank you McPhan for installing and maintaining this cache.
