Take care.
I did manage to find a better path on the way back, so if you decide to bush bash, go along as close to the cliff line as possible, as going any further in is one of the worst punishments out there. I would encourage any future finders to swim or use a watercraft to get there.
Once I dropped myself down to the water level I was able to make the find at GZ. TFTC Wazza9.
The following TBs came through for the mileage : Bob geoMinion, Dave geoMinion, Evil geoMinion, Jerry geoMinion, Larry geoMinion, Mary Hyde's Treasure, Stuart geoMinion, teamMerlin's 7 Deadly Ducks Tag (Lust), Vanlith The Youngling, Hidden Creatures Geocoin TB, teamMerlin's Football, Searching for Paradise, Moneypenny Deadly Duck
Today meat up with teamMerlin and TARDIS 0061 with a more reasonable tide and we were able to walk to GZ without getting our feet wet but this is where it was a matter of what level. checked around lots of levels and lots of caves but it took a long time to find the cache just before we were about to give up teamMerlin found it. After no finds in almost two years glad it wasn't missing
With cache in hand we signed the log and replaced as found. Both the cache and log are in good condition. Thanks for bringing me to the area and thanks for placing the cache Gazma & Applehead Man and for wazza9 for looking after it
A favourite point for this one
The following TBs visited for the distance - Hawkesbury Tiger, 2011- 2019 NSW geocoins, Area 51 Tag, Cache In Trash Out Geocoin, Cache In Trash Out Tag, CITO Micro Geocoin, dirty Black Juke, Four Elements Geocoin, Mary Hyde's compass, Optical Illusion Geocoin, Spindoc Bob Memorial Geocoin, Trackable Building Brick, Wales Flag, Wheel of Caching Geocoin
So arriving on the 7th November we took over the campervan and started our tour from Sydney to Adelaine. On that tour we tried to found a lot of caches. This was unfortuanetly one of those we did not found.
Thank's a lot to all CO's that placed and maintain the caches here in "Down Under".
Greetings from the south of Germany
Travelling
This was a great little detour from my day at the beach.
I considered leaving it for next time and hoping for >6 month gap between finds but decided to seize the opportunity as sometimes caches get muggled or I don't return as soon as I expect.
After taking a little wade over I checked a few spots and was glad to make a find without having to venture too far from safe, familiar terrain.
Loved it - favourite
Look for a large painted plastic peach/fruit container. I took TB. I left 3 kinder surprise toys. I also left a pink pen. Hubby flew drone around and got some great shots. Dare devil that I am I jump off the lower cliff near waterfall.
Tftc.
Thank you
Team sissifalke
Took a little of exploring in all of the wrong places but managed in the end.
Found on the 19.1.16
We did our recon so next time we will come better prepared. Good excuse to return to this lovely spot!
Getting close we realised there was no other way than the direct approach, so after a bit of a search we finally had this one in hand and finally I tick off this 9 year old cache.
Thanks
TFTC
the fabulous weather but the GZ is a little way from the frolicking throng so, no problems there. The water level in the lagoon is high at the moment but still just wadeable to the other side and it made for an easy exit at the only suitable rock near the GZ. GPS said it was a little way up the slope so I started scrambling barefoot up through rocks, scratchy scrub etc. for a futile search of every nook & cranny. Finally I read some previous logs (should have done that first) which said it was closer to the water's edge, so it was back down the slope and after a short search I had the CIH and the paperwork done. A very enjoyable find! Thanks Wazza9 for keeping this one active.
As of today I'll be transferring the ownership of this cache over to wazza9. I'm unable to maintain it any longer and wazza, who replaced the cache previously, has kindly volunteered to adopt it so that it can remain active. Thanks wazza!
Hoping everyone can continue to enjoy this cache!
Thanks
Thanks to gazma for setting this cache up and keeping it going. All the best with your future activities.
TFTC.
I will return with a hint.
Could we get a hint of at what height we have to look?
I made down to the lagoon, changed my boots to some old shoes, then I got my toes wet
EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII!!!! THAT"S COLD!
Maybe once I cant feel my feet I will go across. After a few more steps I could see the water get deeper. I was already up to my shins, one more step would be waist deep NO WAY WHILE ITS THIS COLD!
I'll come back when it gets warmer.
Happy caching!
Gazma
I was able to return to GZ this morning and check again. After I waded through water now over my knees with the surf closing the beach outlet overnight, I replaced the cache on their behalf to keep this important 2006 cache along the Coast Track in play.
Your help to relocate a cache for all to enjoy is appreciated.
I know I have helped in the relocation of this cache to keep it going and feel a bit funny placing a find on it.
My second visit to GZ in 2 days has provided 2 very different experiences.Yesterday the water was only ancle deep and today it was below my knees when I walked across but over them when I walked back.
To complete a 2006 cache along the Coast Track, visited by so many overseas travellers in such a picturesque location is a great feeling.
Visited a group of trackables, left one and added a favorite.
No luck and after spending a good hour searching around the rock where my GPS indicated GZ to be I started to move East to some other likely spots.
Lets hope the CO does a check and advises its status soon.
Once on the rocks I searching high, while Damo. searched low.afetr 45 minutes of searching we decided lunch was calling, so we headed back to the other side. I jumped back into the lagoon for a quick cool down. Hopefully, I'll work out where we went wrong and return with a found log next time.
After a cooling dip in the ocean, I walked over to check out the cache. Lots of muggles on this hot and sunny day. As luck would have it, there was a young muggle fishing in the lagoon directly opposite GZ. Oh well, time for another swim at the beach.
I returned a few hours later and the coast was clear, so a quick wade and scramble and the cache was found. I completed the logging duties swiftly and returned to the family who were now enjoying the more populated area of the lagoon.
This is a great location for the family to cool off on a hot day.
Thanks Gazma.

This time, relaxing Easter - no big trip to Arkaroola or elsewhere, just hang around in the beautiful area of the Illawarra and vicinity. What's a Molla? Watta-Quoi? Wattamolla! We came here for the first time the second week end after we migrated to OZ, seven years ago. Suparki12, the little boy, was scared that day to death when he saw the crabs at the sea. Scated to death - had never seen such ugly creatures before. Later on, that day, we walked along the shore line and he climbed on the rocks ... remember, we were a rock climbing family! Down again, he chatted with his dad and I asked him, what's up there - a big big snake - what , a snake!?! What kind of snake? - No worries, dad, it's sleeping! - Have you been close? - Yes, a meter or so, but no worries, it's sleeping! - I went up as well to see - indeed, a huge diamond python - sleeping in the sun! Now it attracted attention of other muggle, who came with a stick to impress before the ladies... when it became too embarrassing for the python, it just sneaked away into a hole in the rocks. So, I am sure, there were these lovely animals out here today. While kids were jumping from the highest rocks they could find - near the car park, The Arkaroo went to the beach and then waded through the very low water. The lagoon was open and low tide, so water levels pretty down, far further than usual as one can see from the vegetation line. Easy - haha, it remembered me another story in Florida at Highland Oaks Restoration (GC10ACQ), a month ago, where I had attempted similar deep water crossing - but then realized that was a quick sand area - probably meters deep, wondering how many cachers disappeared there. - Anyway, good wading, the water still warm, pull ups the rock (I left my swimming gear and towel at the bottom) - and there it was spotted. Oh no - a muggle group wading in right now. No worries, I did my photo shooting of rocks and plants and suddenly the cache was sitting in the center of that rock where I just relaxed and enjoyed the nature and the views.
Cache container was 1/3 full with sand - someone must have put that in. I cleaned up a bit and lft a travel bug, Riley the Cachepillar - a coin which I found in San Diego two months ago.
Certainly this cache gets one of my favorites. Well done and glad having these established adventure caches in our national parks!
The Arkaroo - who loves the mountains and the waters.
Travel Bugs visiting:
* Arkaroo's Treasure (TB38AN6)
* Blue Desert Drive (TB3ZQ7E)
* Rockhounds B.C. Flag (TB3D42K)
* NM Wild Child (TBM15Q)
* Cache Critters: Baa (TB2CATE)
Travel Bugs dropped off:
* Riley the friendly cachepillar (TB1TADW)
Also found a snake curled up between a rock ledge in the first cave next to the cache position.
I succeeded, however, this will increase the terrain rating by at least 1 point!
Had a lot of fun with nobody around this early(6.30 am).
enjoyed the views and swapped TB

Oh yeah, left the boot too.
The beach and lower part of the lagoon was packed with people, so didn’t like my chances of getting this one, however there was next to no one in the other half.
Waded through the lagoon with Hayden, initially settled on the wrong spot, but didn’t take too long to work out that we had to be a few more meters west. Did a bit of climbing and rock hoping to eventually find the cache! Hayden made some swaps, took water bombs left bee# pez dispenser.
Didnt think I had to wade the lagoon .... but ended up doing it.
1st mistake - didnt have swimmers or anything, so I went across in my nice shorts.
2nd mistake - crossed the lagoon in the wrong spot, and therefore had to do some really insane climbing to get to GZ.
3rd mistake - due to the crazy climbing, I needed good shoes. Cant really do this sort of climbing in cheap thongs.
4th mistake - felt very seedy from a big night beforehand, perhaps not the best idea to go rock climbing while still tipsy.
Anyway, top location - no muggles anywhere. I searched high and low, to no avail. The jumping up and down and around was tough - elevation is important on this one. Looking at some photos in the logs below, seems like going 'high' is the trick.
I will be back - I will bring help. I will tear around in there until I find it! Definitely determined to make this one happen.
Thanks

I had just finished my 8.5km walk to Eagle Rock and back so I thought I'd wander over to get this one.
Needing a sugar hit I ate my ice cream and giant snake ( the kiosk was open) I ambled my way along the board walk.
As I sat staring at the in coming water I knew where I would need to go,so off came the boots and the socks and I pulled up the legs of my pants so they were sitting around my thighs.
Oh, the water felt so good on my hot feet.
Wading across, I then made my way across the sand before deciding it would be best to put my boots back on.
The tide was out so I walked or squelched my way along the inlet as there was no water in it, until I started to sink. Oh no, yukky, sticky, black muck all over my boots and nearly in my socks.
I made a quick dash to the shore and walked the rest of the way through the scrub before finding a suitable place to scramble up the rocks.
I had a superb view from GZ and the muggles nearby looked at me strangely before soon departing.
After much searching I found the cache after having previously gone right past it.
Clever spot and a great place in which to do the caching duties.
No swaps but I took the TB and the Geocoin. I also took the Pathtag which I thought was another geocoin, until it all became clear at home.
Looking forward to seeing more caches like this one.
Last time we were here it was the middle of summer but couldn't even park & had to turn around and go elsewhere!
Lovely spot & good fun cache.
Left a TB & a geocoin.
Thanks,
The Hancock Clan
Great cache Gazma and Applehead Man and hidden well too. It took us a while to realize that we had no other option than to wade accross.
TNLNSL, thanks for the cache!
best wishes,
Wal, Bethany, Jeremy and Zac
A perfect spot.
After exploring the lagoon we waded to GZ and searched for more than 45 minutes in total... but no luck at all.
On the way back to the beach we found some golden plastic coins and a tupperware lid....
Was the cache again muggled?
Anyway,
thanks for pointing to that wonderful piece of coastal landscape.

Not to be detered I took off my jeans and waded accros. I was turned back fairly quickly. Again pressing on I stripped off and nuded up before wading accross. Tangles would be proud, my first nude cache.
Once on the other side I found the cache where it should have been last time. I then went back to the lagoon, nuded up again, and then headed to the car.
The water wasn't too cold, and it was just over nipple high!
Fun, fun, fun!!!
